The property and the features are done very well. However, the property is old and very rundown and is not well kept. It was very dirty furniture and amenities are broken and unusable. The house is infested with bugs and we believe there is a serious mold problem in this home, I had to leave a day early due to severe asthma attack after only spending 30 minutes in the game room

My family members really enjoyed the pool and the miniature golf course. In fact, most of our time was spent in the pool. Every morning some of us would play a round of miniature golf which was loads of fun. We could never get one of the TVs to work but the ones that were the most important worked great. The kids enjoyed watching the kid movies in the theater in the evening. Overall, we really enjoyed this home. The owner was very quick at responding to all our questions.

We had a wonderful time in the mansion there was plenty of activities around the place that my 7 year old boy enjoyed. He turn seven and has Autism he loves to swim so he spend a lot of time swimming jumping in the trampoline and in the playground, He also enjoyed the movie theater. I have a big family and there was plenty of space for all of us we had a great time!!!

My friends and I recently stayed at this property in Cave Creek for a bachelor party and we were very happy with the accommodations. Although the property is a little off the beaten path, once there, it was like our own oasis. We enjoyed everything the property had to offer including the pool, basketball, pickleball, mini golf, and so much more. I would definitely recommend this property to others!

Very unique property and great for a large family. The back yard is great and has something for all ages. It was a lot of fun. Everything worked except the large oven which was a problem with a large Christmas dinner. We had to go buy a smoker to get the job done. I would ask about this before I booked a large party in the future. Overall, everyone had fun and the property is in pretty good shape but could use a little TLC. Thank you

The Xmas decorations were a fun surprise and appreciated. The size of the house was adequate for our large family. There are definitely repairs that are needed, especially for kid safety. One oven didn’t work. Casita fridge and door didn’t work. Shower controls difficult to manage. Some needed cosmetic updates are easily noticed. Overall, it was a great stay.

There several activities to do on the property. Enjoyed the privacy.

Property is not what online listing shows. Very dirty and in state of disrepair. Waterfall does not work, exposed rebar in pool, bathroom fixtures broken, freezer did not freeze ice cream, pool Cues all broken and dryer takes 3-4 cycles to dry clothes. The last night there was decent rain and roof leaked in 4 areas in the house. Actually running water on to the floor. We felt there isn’t be mold in one bathroom but owner says it is “ Faux painting”.

Overall the amenities were what was advertised. However, for a rental property in the off-season at almost two thousand dollars a night a lot of work needs to be done on the property. Various doorknobs, towel racks etc were not working or would come off. One of the ovens did not work properly. Multiple rooms in the home and the entire guest house did not have working air conditioning and in 100 degree heat it was a safety concern and a habitability issue. We contacted the owner two hours into our stay stating the air conditioning was not working. We were told he’d get someone to look at it the next day and that it was working properly when we arrived (This wasn’t true because the thermostat read 87 degrees). No one came to look at it during our entire 4 day stay. A lot of activities to do on site, but there are much nicer rentals for cheaper in the area.

We had a group of 14 adults and 7 kids, there was plenty of space for everyone. We spent everyday all day in the pool, the water temp was perfect, the spa heated up quickly every night. The kids loved eating chicken nuggets at the swim up bar. The teens got alot of use out of the game room. We had a great time, Thanks John!

If anything the property was undersold. Kids had a great time. Pool was excellent. Would have used the sport court a lot more if we had come during a time with cooler weather. Overall very good. Families would really enjoy this property.

Lots of amenities, secluded property, super helpful host, very nice setup, could use some updating/refresh.

We had 19 for a family reunion with young children. We spent most of the time outside between the pool, the hot tub, water slide and mini-golf. The owner was very responsive when we had any questions. We even saw the full moon rising just over Black Mountain last night sitting in the hot tub. Great spot and voted by our group as one of the best places we have rented for our reunions.

This is a beautiful property with a great pool and hot tub. We held a small team meeting and it was perfect. The only suggestion I have is a little TLC. The dishwashers and some bedding were really dated and should be replaced.

Very excluded, which allows for a flexible stay. Pictures do not do justice to this exquisite resort. Owner is extremely helpful and laid back. Best experience I've had with a large group. Thanks for everything!

House was an amazing property. Fully met all of our expectations. It does show that this house is a rental, some things are a bit rough around the edges. My only complaint is location, getting rides was very difficult. However for longer stay I couldn’t recommend more. Would stay again!

its a nice big property, and a lot what to do on it. We went on a 2 day Company retreat and we really enjoyed it. we played basket ball and volley ball for hours, we didn't need to leave the property.

We made another trip to this wonderful property for this Christmas. The pool & hot tub are the best part! We had a few issues that came up, but the owner had the issues resolved by the following day. The house is just the right size for our family of 20. The neighborhood is very quiet and the fire pits were fantastic. We would highly recommend this property to anyone with kids that constantly need to be entertained and adults that need a break

This is a beautiful, spacious home equipped with everything as described in the VRBO video. It is absolutely breath taking in many respects, with multiple bedrooms and a separate casita with workout room. Outdoor facilities included a pool, water slide, spa, tennis court, 9 hole putt-putt course, basketball court, in ground trampoline, shuffle board, bean bag toss and more. Indoor activities included a pool table, shuffle board, ping pong, air hockey and more. The indoor theater seats 10+ and was perfect for movies and viewing football games and other sports. The youngsters also used the screen for their Play Station 4 gaming. There are TVs in practically every room, and the high tech remotes provided access to a wide variety of programming and entertainment. There is ample space for dining ( two large tables seating 8-10 each), and there is a large wrap around bar with comfortable stools in the huge kitchen. There were a couple of minor disappointments. The biggest was the unavailability of the large primary oven due to a part that had been on backorder for several months. This caused a work around with the other two available ovens (one regular size and one small) to prepare a Thanksgiving dinner for twenty people. The second disappointment was the discovery of a few places the cleaning team missed prior to our arrival. However, these minor blemishes did not affect the overall enjoyment of all of our guests during our stay. Everyone had a great time! It is important to point out that there is more than ample space for lounging and visiting in the large family areas (multiple couches and comfy chairs in an area where ceilings are 25+ feet high!). The size of the property also allows one to take time and find a place, inside or outside, to enjoy a few moments of privacy when needed. Parking also exceeds any anticipated requirements. There is no reason to leave this house during your stay, but if you choose to there is plenty to do in this area -- hiking, eating out, tourist side trips, or even going hot air ballooning. Finally and most importantly, the owner/manager was friendly and personable. He was also accessible and very helpful when needed. The provision of limo ride to the airport for some of our guests at the end of our stay was a welcome bonus!

On line listing touted great features reality was: only one of three oven worked, one of two dishwashers worked second one is broken (rack was broken) NO ICE MAKER (in the desert!) TV was intermittent at best, game area : one paddle for broken air hockey game skittle pool warped and surface nonfunctional. Pool slide unusable , large grill unusable (missing knobs and critter habitat) several areas of exposed electrical cords) putting green ok but splintered flagstick of fiberglass caused injury to grandson Miele coffee feature broken overall maintenance ABSENT cleaning POOR Many of the above deficiencies were noticed MONTHS ago and not resolved. This place is pretty hard to beat. Had a group of friends meet up here for Labor Day and we had an awesome time. John was very friendly and accommodating. The house itself is built for fun and is pretty secluded. I think the house has been around a while and it shows a little bit. The speakers for the pool sounded a little blown out, the water slide, one of the grills as well as the larger oven in the kitchen. The theatre room was great but could definitely use some instructions because the system that connects all the TVs is pretty hard to figure out I don’t think the master bedrooms tv worked either. Despite all of this, the house is still a great value and you really won’t find something like it for that price and there isn’t some long list of checkout procedures which is nice. I would definitely stay here again.

The house was stunning! We had plenty of room to hang out, and the pool was amazing. John was a phenomenal host and answered my multiple questions and helped us get a personal chef for the house. We loved the house!

We're a large family with fifteen grandchildren amongst us. We postponed for a year during covid and the owner worked with us. We greatly enjoyed our time in this spacious rental. The owner was responsive to our requests for specific cooking needs. We commented on the shade around the outdoor seating, and two new patio umbrellas arrived in a short time. We loved the miniature golf and game room, and everyone that used the large master shower enjoyed it. We had some problems getting the video projector screen to activate, and the directions were not clear. However, our ten-year-old granddaughter got it running. There were several remotes needed to get the system to display. She and her family left a few days before others, and we never did get the screen to display again. Laminated directions along with photos of the remotes would be helpful. The swimming pool was wonderful! The swim up bar provided late afternoon shade, and the gazebo is pleasant shaded seating by the pool. In our 7 days no one came to check and adjust pool chlorine; however, our oldest son found a test kit and added chlorine each day. The loose tiles around the edge of the pool that could be easily dislodged and fall on swimmers are a significant safety issue. The dishwashers were all but nonfunctional. One didn’t work at all, and the other had only top rack functionality due to broken racks in the bottom so that it won’t support dinner plates. We washed a lot of dishes by hand for 23 people. We recommend you use the small built-in oven as the larger oven heats very slowly. There are also loose tiles in the 2nd floor game room which could accidentally be kicked into the living room below. Accessibility is a very significant issue with our family. The house is listed as accessible but isn’t. One adult family member is wheel chair bound, and she had to be lifted and carried through any of the water closet doors. The exterior entrance/exit thresholds are too high for a wheel chair to easily and safely cross. Does VRBO have any accessibility standards for their clients to list a rental as accessible? We wouldn’t rent this house again, mainly because this was a once in a lifetime event for us (50th wedding anniversary), but also because there are serious maintenance and accessibility issues.

we stayed at John’s lovely place for a celebration of a few birthdays and had the most amazing time. He really thought of everything. There were so much activities on the property there really was no need to leave. In fact we only left for dinner one night the rest of the weekend we enjoyed the house and all the amenities it has to offer! I highly recommend

Had a gathering of 8-10 fraternity brothers from days past and had a fantastic stay! John, the owner/manager, met us at the door and gave us the overview to the property. He was wonderful and available anytime for questions. By far the best asset to the house was the pool. We spent literally every day here. Absolutely fantastic pool! Sleeping arrangements allowed all persons to have their own room and bathroom, and plenty of room to spare. The "Jack and Jill" bathrooms have separate sinks and only the shower/toilet is shared. This really feels like you have your own bathroom in each room! Some of the electronics are dated (couldn't play most up-to-date blue-ray discs, and we did have some trouble getting the music to play room-to-room as expected), but this was manageable and overall the place is fantastic! Spent a few nights watching movies in the theatre, and had a chef prepared meal where 10 people sat around the large table quite comfortably. After 14 years of use as a rental, the house is beginning to show its age, but let me tell you, it is a fantastic place to stay and a definite "go -to" for anyone wanting a house that literally offers everything! Between the miniature golf, frisbee golf, cornhole, horseshoes, in-ground trampoline, and various other activites, you will be exhausted! Thank you, John, for a fantastic stay! Everyone agreed we'll need to come back in the future for another reunion!

This place was absolutely as advertised. If you're here for a bachelor party, golf trip, work retreat, family reunion, it doesn't get better than this. The host John was awesome, he met us on the first day and gave us a 15-minute rundown of the entire place which wasn't too tough to get a handle on. All of the amenities run on a convenient app, so everything from the hot tub to the music and lights can be easily controlled. John knows you're here to party and as long as you clean the place up and don't break anything he wants you to have a blast and we did exactly that. The place is very private and we were pretty loud into the wee hours with no complaints. The pool is clean, the house is spotless, nothing is broken, and all the amenities work perfectly. We've stayed in other places that look nice, but have fridges out of order, broken light switches, etc. and this mansion runs perfectly. Respect the house and you'll have the time of your life. Thanks John for an unforgettable weekend!
