This was a great location to the beach. The pool was easy to access as well. The condo itself was clean but could use a deep cleaning with the rugs/sofa/chairs. The bathrooms could use some TLC especially the primary bath. Aside from that, there was everything we needed to enjoy ourselves and had a great vacation.

The good: Good location, 5 min from the beach. close to the pool. fully equipt kitchen The bad: 1. the owners are not answering messages 2. The rooms and bath were not clean (dirty pillow covers, hairs in the bathroom) 3. The AC was closed when we arrived, and it was unpleasant to enter the place 4. no staff to take to the beach (cart, chairs, etc)

The location is super convenient. Less than a 10 min walk to the beach which was great so we didn’t have to deal with parking or getting sand in our car. I like that it’s not super crowded in this area but you can still drive 10 min in either direction and do the touristy stuff. Id definitely book in this area again in the future. Having access to a washer and dryer in the unit and the ability to cook was so so helpful! Parking is tight for this unit if you have a bigger vehicle. The unit needs a real deep clean. The sheets and towels appeared clean so that wasn’t a major concern but everything else needs a wipe down. The air filter needs changed badly and it looked like no one had cleaned the lint trap in months. Idk how it was drying clothes. No batteries in the smoke detector either 😬 the bathroom rugs need washed and the master tub needs some attention before it gets worse. For the price I’d still recommend staying here! You can’t get a hotel this cheap and having the ability to do laundry with a family on vacation is great.

Check in was easy and the place was clean. The let out couch was VERY uncomfortable and my son was unable to sleep on it. He ended up sharing the bunk beds with his sisters. The knob on bathroom door was broken and I let the manager know but never got a response. The drain in the master bath was really slow and the unit could use some updating (bathroom rugs, couch, some dresser drawers were off track). Overall, this unit accommodated my family of 5 and we enjoyed ourselves. Really close to the pool and the beach wasn’t too far. It served its purpose and was a great price.

Great condo, may book again!

Our booking was easy, the property manager was very responsive. The condo decent. We have stayed at Crystal Village before, but in a different unit. This one could use some updating. The washer was loud and squealed, but did it’s job. Quite a few of the dishes were still dirty when we pulled them out of the cabinet/drawer. The trash drop off was pretty far from our unit so that was a little confusing. Overall our stay was decent. The pools were nice, the place was quiet and felt safe.

Renting was easy

Property is a good value to rent if you don't mind being a few blocks from the beach.

We enjoyed our stay here. The condo was clean and safe and accommodated our family of 5. There was nothing fancy about the condo but it met our needs. Close proximity to the pool and within 7 minutes to the beach. The only negative was the couch was not comfortably for sitting but we weren’t in the condo much. Plenty of towels, cooking utensils, etc. The cookware could use an upgrade but we made do. We actually wanted to extend our stay but there was no availability beyond the dates we booked. For the price and location of this unit we will return!

Tired property…needs some love, a quality carpenter, a professional painter and some proper cleaning. Wish I could include pics for reference. I read previous reviews and took the complaints with a grain of salt. Honest reviews regarding lack of cleanliness were totally disregarded by Shaun as he replies with ‘sorry if the cleanliness wasn’t up to your standards’. Shaun, I’m sorry that the cleanliness IS up to your standards, and the carpentry! Re: flooring installation, trim and master bath overall. In the first couple of days, we spent some time cleaning things, windows too, washing rugs and bedspreads (gross),changing lightbulbs and the furnace filter. Still, the outdated smoke detectors need replacing. I let Shaun know this and he didn’t bother to respond. However, he did respond a couple days later when I contacted him about the cockroach problem and wanted to discuss a refund. He sent an exterminator out and we treated the property ourselves and a few days later we were finding dead roaches in the bakeware. Wash the dishes before using! His other properties are apparently equally disappointing as another renter was telling us their issue with roaches and cleanliness. Yes, people talk by the pool and compare experiences. Fortunately we all had a sense of humour and some had rented these units before and know enough not to make the same mistake twice. They now return yearly to other units in Crystal Villas at a significantly cheaper rate. Miramar Beach was fabulous as was the pool at this property. We didn’t let the many shortcomings of this rental take away from our wonderful vacation but we all agreed that 2 weeks would have been plenty in the area to see everything. Our first time as renters. Lesson learned, and we’re thankful for the experience.

We love to spend the week between Christmas and New Years at the beach. I just stumbled across this listing, and it was the perfect price and location for us! The unit was clean and quiet. It had everything we needed plus some extras that weren’t mentioned in the listing (i.e. beach items, board games). It’s a great location, and it’s convenient to everything you want to do while you’re in the area. We had a great time during our stay! The Radfords Athens, GA

The condo was clean, and the couch is actually a pull out bed. Has a stackable washer and dryer too which was nice. Both rooms were spacious and windows let the light in nicely. Balcony was nice when day was cooler to open. Pool was right downstairs from condo. Overall great place to rent.

Nice condo within 5 min walk to beach. A few cosmetic things in the condo weren’t fantastic, but a nice place for the price. Overall our family of four would rent again.

This was our first time in Destin Area.. we were so pleased with the location. Lots of suggestion material for us. Nice quiet area only a couple blocks away from all the action.

Would definitely go again

Property was very nice and clean. Wish it was a little closer to the beach, but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The Host Shaun was very quick to respond to messages and we will definitely plan to stay again in the future.

We loved our stay. The condo had everything we needed for stay. Loved the fact that there was 4 of us and we never ran out of clean bathroom towels. Plenty of space and we never felt crowed. Would definitely come back and stay again.

Clean unit, very nice

Second time booking this condo and wasn’t disappointed! Great location, had everything we needed! The pull out sofa bed was broken, contacted the owner and was given an air mattress pretty quickly! Great job! The only downside was my two boys had a little difficulty sleeping on that all week. Overall, would definitely stay again!

We stayed for a week for my sons World Series and had a blast. The only complaint was with the pool the water was so hot it didn’t help you cool down. As far as the property it was great. Big enough for our family of 6.

The mattresses were not supportive, the ceiling fans did not work or they made a loud noise so they could not be used. The shower drains were clogged and there was a water leak above the shower head that won't end up good later if it isn't fixed ASAP. Things were rigged and not really working properly. But it was close to the beach and clean enough to sleep in. With a little more care it would be a nicer place.

Comfortable beds and furnishings. Has most items you need for cooking. How ever be sure to bring essentials like salt, pepper, sugar and all else. Like most places, you get a limited supply of soaps, and paper goods. Grocery stores a short ride away, as well as fast food and better restaurants. So glad we stayed west of Panama city beaches. Destin and Fort Walton has everything with less crowds.

Great location, minutes from the beach, beautiful pool and palm tree view, clean and spacious condo! Perfect for our getaway to the emerald coast!

This property was great for our vacation. It was a good set up, plenty of room, an easy walk to the beach and the pool was great for the kids. My only issue was I messaged the owner to see if we needed sheets and towels and never heard back from them. So, we packed them and then didn't need them. I also asked if there was a bike rental near by and didn't get an answer. There is a bike rental very close by. Over all a great trip!
