L'unité de sous-sol anglais entièrement restaurée dans la maison de ville en brique haut de gamme construite en 1865 offre un savoir-faire et un confort modernes. Magnifiquement meublée et lumineuse, cette unité est en plein cœur de Capitol Hill!
Une entrée fermée et fermée mène à cet appartement séparé. Une fois entré, vous entrerez dans un salon très confortable avec deux autocars, des planchers de bois franc avec des tapis orientaux, une cheminée, une télévision à écran plat de 50 pouces et une table pour manger. La cuisine entièrement équipée comprend toutes les commodités - four, micro-ondes, grille-pain, cafetière, ustensiles, casseroles, poêles, assiettes, verres; essentiellement tout ce dont vous aurez besoin dans une cuisine!
Il y a deux chambres, une avec un lit queen, la seconde avec un lit jumeau. (L'unité peut également accueillir une quatrième personne avec un lit double disponible lors de la notification préalable du propriétaire). Du linge de maison frais, des oreillers, des couvertures et des couettes sont fournis. Il y a une salle de bain complète équipée de serviettes propres, de shampoings / revitalisants, de gels douche, de savon et d'un sèche-cheveux.

We are a family of four and we stayed in this lovely apartment for three nights. The location was perfect, a beautiful, peaceful area but within walking distance of all the main sights. There are lots of restaurants within a 5 minute walk and also some grocery shops nearby. The apartment itself is beautifully decorated and very welcoming. Communication with the owner was excellent and the additional bed we requested was set up and ready for us upon our arrival. We loved our stay here and would be very happy to stay again if we come back to Washington.

My family loved the area. We could easily walk to the capital building and National Mall. The metro was also close and we used it to get everywhere else.

The property was as expected. Lovely location, in/out as expected.
Dishes and silverware were not clean.
I killed several ants in the bathroom that came out from under the vanity.
Biggest negative was the gold coffee pot basket which was coated inside with old coffee grounds and a thick layer of mold. I didn’t wash it and didn’t use it so you could see for yourself what I observed.
I would stay again but not without assurances that it was cleaner than this time. The queen mattress was not very firm and seemed not to be level, but it may have been the floor. But still a charming place. Needs a little love.

Amazing location, just a few minutes’ walk to Capitol / Library of Congress / Supreme Court! My kids were thrilled with all we could see and do. Very quick walk to Trader Joe’s and Eastern Market, so easy to grab food for meals.
Apartment was clean and well maintained. It’s very small and all of the rooms connect, so there’s not a lot of privacy (e.g. you have to walk through the main bedroom and the small converted walk-in / second bedroom to get into the bathroom), but it worked out fine and the price was right. The owner is super responsive, friendly, and helpful! Street parking was easy to find and a visitor’s permit is provided.

Christie’s place in Capitol Hill is wonderful! Very clean and nicely decorated. Location can’t be beat and host was very responsive. Only thing I wish was more of a description of the rooms. One room was a converted porch, which worked for my 11yr old but definitely got a bit chilly at night. He didn’t mind since he had his own space. Overall I highly recommend this rental!

Excellent location, perfect for my family of 4. the kitchen is a bit tight and you have to go through one of the bedrooms to get to the bathroom but those were both more than made up for by the location and convenience. The place had everything we needed.

Lovely property in a beautiful neighborhood, just a couple blocks from the US Capitol. We parked the car when we arrived and never had to drive anywhere again. All of the sites we wanted to visit were within a reasonable walking distance. Christie was a wonderful host who checked in with us and made sure we had everything we needed. She was also very responsive to any questions we had. If you're wanting to visit all of the sites around the US Capitol area (Smithsonian museums, White House, US Capitol, all the monuments at the National Mall, etc.) this is a perfect place to stay. This apartment was easy to get to -- just a couple blocks from the Capitol Building - easy access to both bus and train metro system. Host was very responsive and easy to work with whenever we needed anything. Looking forward to coming and staying here again.

We took a quick trip to DC with family who were visiting from South-Africa and this location was absolutely perfect! It is close enough to walk (or a short ride share) to everything you would want to see in Washington DC and only blocks away from a bunch of restaurants. Christie was awesome and let us check in early to drop off our luggage, since we didn't rent a car. All was as advertised. We will definitely stay there again.

Excellent stay in a cozy, charming apartment! My daughter and I were able to walk virtually everywhere, which was a wonderful bonus. We toured the White House, the Capitol, the Library of Congress, visited many of the museums on the Mall, and our home away from home was a lovely place to relax in at the end of the day. The United States Botanical Gardens were a stroll away as well. Christie was an excellent host, responsive and friendly. Street parking was a breeze. Great location for anyone wanting to have walking access to some of Washington DC’s most iconic sites.

415 is in a very quiet neighborhood, but is just blocks from the Capitol, Senate and Congressional office buildings, the Supreme Court, numerous cafes. The many Smithsonian museums are just a few blocks further past the Capitol. If your visit is to see the national monuments and don't fancy walking, Uber is the way to go. The Metro is wonderful, but if you'd still be doing a lot of walking both getting to the stop and then to the place you want to see.
Reservations at popular restaurants are a must, so plan ahead. We made a detailed week long itinerary, reservations and had zero problems.

A few small edits: it’s a solid ten min walk from Capitol South metro stop, not five. For folks using the kitchen, there could have been a few more supplies (ie, no spatula or colander, and we had to order things like cooking oil and coffee). But the place was clean and well-maintained and situated. Thank you!!

Lovely apartment with a seating area in the back of house. The beds are comfy, kitchen had everything needed to cook. Close to several eateries, markets, modes of transportation. It was a perfect spot to get around and see the sights. Host was nice, had an inforamtion packet full of stuff. Gives great instruction for our stay. Their corgie was a perfect furry fix for me missing my dog. Would definitely stay again.

The location of the apartment was perfect. Metro was close and a great variety of restaurants as well! Beds were comfortable. We bought food at the close Trader Joe’s market and utilized the kitchen to make breakfast in the mornings. The only downside was the location of the bathroom…. It was located in one of the spare rooms and the sliding door was pretty “squeaky”, so our son was disturbed frequently when he was resting or sleeping at night 😕 other than that- no complaints!

We had a perfect stay here in DC. This property is so comfortable and convenient. It was walking distance to Starbucks, Trader Joes, eateries and pubs as well as the Capitol Building. The owner lives upstairs and was so accommodating. The entrance is private and the street parking was available and easy. We will be back!!!

This apartment is in a perfect location to see the sights of DC. Comfortable beds to return back to to get a good nights sleep so you can start all over the next day. Prepare to do a lot of walking or take the bus or Metro. We had a great trip. Our host was very accommodating.

We rented this unit to enjoy the city for the weekend. It was perfect. The neighborhood is super cute, and the farmers market was great. It's a short walk to the metro station, which was nice. We traveled with our two daughters, and the hostess accommodated us by setting up an extra bed so we were all sleeping in separate areas, which was awesome after spending the ENTIRE day with them, lol (momma needed a break!). I would definitely stay here again.
