'Getg Inn' Comfortable Cozy Lakefront Property-Beautiful View
Chalet mis à jour niché sur une crique isolée au cœur de la route des vins du lac Seneca est notre maison du lac que nous appelons «Getg Inn». Détendez-vous dans cette maison de 1100 pieds carrés qui est littéralement à 15 pieds du bord du lac. La vue panoramique est à couper le souffle. Située sur le côté ouest du lac Seneca, cette maison vous offre à la fois du soleil et de l'ombre pendant la journée. La digue est plate et à 15 pieds de la maison. Interdiction de fumer à l'intérieur de la maison, mais disponible sur le quai. Nous sommes entièrement meublés avec tout ce dont vous aurez besoin pour profiter de vos vacances. 3 kayaks individuels disponibles - l'utilisateur doit assumer à ses risques et périls. We would come back here in a minute! The cottage was spotless clean when we checked in. It is very well stocked. Love that linens and towels were included. The dock and screened in porch are lovely for fresh lake air. The kids swam every day. Lots to do locally. Our hosts were gracious and communicative. Thank you!

The house was NOT updated and cleaned as advertised. I noticed the ad now has eliminated the word “updated.” The furnishings are dirty/stained, and faded. Some pieces were even ripped/damaged. Overall the house was worn, old, and dirty. It needs a deep cleaning both inside and out. Most of the plates, towels, and bed sheets need to be replaced. We had problems with the water pressure, washing machine, sliding glass door, and kayaks. Host said they were aware of several of the issues but responded with this is our family lake house and we have never had anyone concerned about their stay. We were the first who expressed concerns. They did try to get a few of the things fixed while we were there. The kayaks were the only things replaced during our stay. The icing on the cake was the old dirty pair of panties we found on the master bedroom mattress when taking off the sheets at the end of our stay. The host did agree to refund some of our money after I contacted Vrbo. They then said they would not refund any money. I contacted Vrbo again and words were exchanged and host agreed to the refund. Overall we were very disappointed with the house as this was our vacation and we just wanted to relax and enjoy spending time with our family. If we wanted to deal with all the issues of the house, we could have just stayed home.

The house was very clean and thank goodness for the AC!!! We loved the location, right on the lake. We enjoyed kayaking in the morning and watching the ducklings. Would definitely stay here again.

What a perfect location on Seneca lake ! We were pleasantly surprised by how large the cottage was compared to the pictures. We particularly enjoyed the screened in porch and the views of the lake which was just steps away. Enjoyed taking our boat out for nightly cruises or just sitting and relaxing-the dock is beautiful. Hope to have the opportunity to enjoy this beautiful cottage again some other time!

Property was nicely decorated and clean! Easy for elderly parents to maneuver down to dock! So peaceful and quiet! Neighbors were awesome and friendly!

Had a family- girls weekend at the Finger Lakes. It was our first time and we throughly enjoyed all wineries and most importantly, the house. It was clean, kitchen fully stocked with supplies, and beds were comfortable. Had to call Dan and Sarah for a little error on our end and they were quick to respond. I spoke to Dan personally and he was kind and helpful! We loved being on the lake and are already talking about staying here next year!

We have stayed at this property multiple times in the past and absolutely love it! It is one of our favorite places to vacation. It is right on the lake and has the most amazing views! You can't help but relax. It was perfect for our party of 6. The kitchen is fully stocked should you want to cook a meal at the house. The bedrooms and bathrooms are clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the dock and fire pit after a fun day of exploring. There are so many wineries, breweries and distilleries in the area that you can't visit them all! Watkins Glen is a must too. We will definitely be back! Thank you for sharing your home.

This host was very responsive and gave us wonderful suggestions in the area. We enjoyed out stay. We only had 4 people. I think 6 people would be a little tight at times. But great house & location.

We had a very nice relaxing time at this lake cottage. It had everything we needed for the five of us. Nice screened in porch to enjoy the sunrise, kayaks to explore the lake, and beautiful Watkins Glen to enjoy some hiking nearby.

This by far was our best Fingerlakes stay. The cottage was adorable, had everything you can think of. We travel with our elderly parents, the ease of 1 floor living, minimal stairs was perfect. We were grieving the loss of my father x1 week. This cottage provided us the peace and calmness we needed to start our healing. The sunrises were incredible, Vineyards are plentiful. The owner was accessible and very prompt if we had questions. This place is a treasure and we will be returning again. Thank you!!

We absolutely loved spending a few days in this lake home. The home and property was beautiful! The views were spectacular. The owners are simply amazing! They got back to us in a timely manner and were always available when we needed to reach out to them. Wonderful people! Can’t wait to stay again!

The cottage was clean and beautifully decorated. The dock and screened-in porch were amazing! Just a couple of minor negatives are the gas grille was really dirty (we didn't use it, too much to clean while on vacation!😉), extra toilet paper and body soap (for showers) would have been appreciated.
Overall a great experience, we would definitely rent again!!

The cottage was beautiful and was stocked with everything we needed. We have rented a few cottages in the past and bring items that have been worn quite a bit such as the fry pans or utensils for the grill. But this cottage had everything and was in perfect condition. Beautiful sunrises every day, Huge screened in porch made it even more special. The one thing that was not in good shape was the grill. The knobs for the valves did not lock or adjust the gas and the flame protectors were rotted and covered with aluminum foil. Had to wiggle the connection at the tank to get any kind of gas flow. Only way to shut of the burners was to turn the valve off at the tank. Very dangerous and unsafe! My husband managed to finagle it so we could use it but required constant vigilance. Other than that, it was perfect!!

Quiet cottage on Seneca Lake!
We had a nice stay with our family in this nicely kept home. Situated halfway between the north and south ends of Seneca Lake. We enjoyed the kayaks on the property and fished from the dock. Many nice wineries were close by and Watkins Glen was 25 minutes away. Hiking the gorge in Watkins Glen was amazing Great spot to stay.

Amazing
House was exactly as pictured and communication was on point and fast! Before and during stay. Amazing view and everything was clean and comfortable. Owner had excellent tips for a car service. A limo would not make it to the house but we had a mini van - no issues . This place is off the beaten path, literally a gravel road but that’s what we loved about it. Brewery at the entrance about a mile from property and we walked it. Will stay here again and recommend!

Perfect Lake Getaway
We LOVED staying at this property over Memorial Day weekend. It is so beautiful and secluded down a quiet road on Seneca Lake, but also right smack in the middle, close to wineries, restaurants, and great hiking. The house was lovely with a great kitchen to cook in, comfortable beds, and a perfect dock to play cards, drink wine, and enjoy the lake. The master bedroom is much larger than the other two, but we spent so little time in the bedrooms, it didn't matter! Would def come back again.

Cute, clean cottage with beautiful sunrises...
Third (or fourth?) great early fall stay here. Not a single hiccup. Having 4 wheel drive in/out is a plus but not a necessity in warm weather. Suggest book early, as this is a popular property.

Excellent!!!
Stop looking!! This is the place you want to go if you are heading to wine country in the Seneca Lake area. It is about halfway between Geneva and Watkins Glen and the house itself is about 40 feet from the lake. Long pier to enjoy a glass of wine on and the grounds are spectacular. The pictures are very accurate and the place is very clean. The hosts are very easy to communicate with and the provided recommendations on both restaurants and wineries to visit during our stay. I will stay here again if I return.

A Great Week
Our cottage had everything we needed for a great week on Seneca Lake. The cottage is very comfortable for six people. The screen porch and dock are so welcoming. Thank you Sarah and Dan. We will be back.

Great Location directly On The Lake! The property was exactly as advertised!
Owners were great and responsive .
The Property has a No Pet Policy, apparently previous renters assumed that policy did not apply to them and brought a dog with them. This inconsiderate action resulted in two people in my group suffering from allergies.

Weedy Week!
The home was updated and very clean. The kitchen was well stocked and sitting room was plenty. The table on the porch was lovely. We enjoyed the lake front screened porch every morning sipping on our coffee and wined at night. Neighbors were friendly, safe environment. Master bedroom was large. No closets in 2 of the small bedrooms. The trip was planned with fishing in mind, we all purchased fishing licenses and a few new pieces of equipment for the week. The weeds in the front of the cottage were so thick they floated on the water, fishing was impossible. We do understand mother nature is not always friendly but this is apparently not a new issue. The weeds are not a new problem in the month of August. If we had some kind of warning we would have rented a boat in advance but rentals were few and far between at the last minute.
Wineries were good and plenty, there is a brewery close by, beer was great and the setting was unique.
We used the Kayaks 2 days and it was nice having them available.
Weather was beautiful, friends were fun!! Enjoyed NY.

Nice Quiet getaway
Great place to relax… We came all the way from California, where we left heat, fires dead grass and ashes, and stayed at this beautiful place, with swimming, lush lawns, greenery… Campfires next to the lake … We’ll be returning soon !

Relaxing Long Weekend
This property was perfect for our family. We enjoyed sitting by the water, fishing off the docket, playing games in the screened in porch and the quiet neighborhood. The hosts were so attentive and accommodating!

Very comfortable home with great location!
We were excited to stay ON Seneca lake this trip, and this place did not disappoint. Pre trip communication with the owners was great, I had some questions that they promptly answered. The home had all of the kitchen amenities you could need, and the patio area was wonderful for our 16 month old son to play in and run around. Bedrooms were very comfortable and decorated in a cute fashion, and having a washer/dryer there was a great bonus! Location is perfect being halfway up the lake, and so close to Penn Yan for groceries and restaurants. I hope this place stays on VRBO bc we would love to stay there again!

Just what we wanted/needed
Property is amazing. So clean, spacious and well stocked. Views of the lake changed every 15 minutes. Property owners were incredibly attentive/helpful. A perfect spot to unwind.

Relax and recharge by the water

Fantastic Lakefront Getaway
A perfect place to get away for the weekend! The cottage was very clean and comfortable, and the views from the living room and screened in porch are tremendous. The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals and the Marinos were extremely insightful and provided us with great area recommendations for our tours and meals out. 10 out of 10.

Perfect Girls Trip! Def Stay Here!
We loved this house! It looks exactly as the pictures and listing portray. Cozy, yet big enough for myself, mom and sister on our girls trip. We found it to be perfectly located 20 mins to Watkins Glen and 20 mins to Geneva, also very close to Keuka Lake (we loved the Keuka Winery!). It was very clean and the living room furniture was very comfortable. The screened in porch was also one of our favorite spots to hang out in. The owners were very easy to communicate with and always responded very quickly and share great tips of places to check out. Loved it, couldn't recommend it enough!
