L'intérieur de notre maison «Silver Fox at Northstar» le distingue et en fait une classe à part. Les poutres en détresse à la main, les planchers en noyer taillés à la main et la maçonnerie complexe créent cette sensation de «vieux Tahoe». Une cuisine gastronomique avec une gamme Thermador de 60 "vous permet de créer un festin pour votre famille et vos amis.
Cette maison a un merveilleux plan d'étage ouvert. La cuisine, la salle à manger et le salon créent un lieu de rassemblement chaleureux après une journée amusante sur les pistes ou sur les sentiers. Et pendant que les adultes se réunissent là-bas, les enfants (ou «les enfants de cœur») ont une place à eux - une immense salle de jeux au niveau inférieur les divertit pour que les adultes puissent avoir du temps pour eux. Et, en hiver, ils ont leur propre piste de luge privée juste derrière la maison.
Notre incroyable salle de jeux a quelque chose pour tout le monde: deux téléviseurs grand écran (avec consoles de jeux Xbox), une table de billard, une table de jeu de palets professionnelle de 16 'de long, une table de baby-foot professionnelle, une table de ping-pong, deux ordinateurs (pour la navigation sur Internet) et un grand jeu table (8 places) qui sera parfaite pour les joueurs de poker ou de jeux de cartes. This was the perfect house for our 3 families and 1 set of grandparents as each group was able to have their own private space and bathroom. The common area was great for all 17 of us. Kitchen was well appointed for large group cooking. We especially enjoyed the outdoor area and had each and every meal on the deck. When the kids were done, they simply went to the lower deck to play the various outdoor games when the adults relaxed upstairs. A warning: Primary bedroom has one of those high beds. If you are short, you may not be able get into it.....especially if you just had knee surgery! This house definetly enable us to have a very nice and memorable vacation. Thank you, David.

This marks our fifth time renting this home, and it continues to exceed expectations. Everything, from communicating with the homeowners to the smooth arrival process, is fantastic. The property is ideal for accommodating large groups, with the added bonus of a sled hill behind the house. Plus, access to the Northstar base is conveniently just a stroll down the road (ski down to a lift) or a quick 5-minute bus ride away, with the bus stop conveniently located right in front of the house. We've already secured our booking for 2025 and highly recommend this home.

This is a great location and beautiful house but the rules are a bit much. For example, don't chop anything except on the cutting board. If you use the grill on the stove, it needs to be as clean as when you got there which is fine but they don't provide the proper cleaning materials to clean a grill.

We created amazing family memories here. We arrived in a snowstorm and Dave came and shoveled everything himself to make sure we didn’t have to worry about it. He was super communicative and helpful. We enjoyed all of amenities this place has to offer. We were with a group of 13 and everyone had their own space. A+ can’t wait to come back!

We had a wonderful weekend at Dave’s beautiful Tahoe home. We were 8 adults and 8 kids ranging in age from 3-8. The house was spacious and comfortable. Check in was super easy and Dave was very easy to communicate with. The rooms felt almost like hotel rooms with beautiful clean linens. The kitchen was great to cook in and had lots of pots, pans, and serving trays. The proximity to the mountain is great and the Northstar shuttle makes going to and from the mountain very convenient. Highly recommend staying here and we hope to be back!

This was a well maintained home perfect for a large family vacay. The large game room in the basement kept the kids entertained and the pool table, shuffle board, dart board and ping pong games were all well maintained. The owner was very responsive to a few issues that arose, even though he was on vacation himself! We had four families in the home with 16 people and it accommodated us very well.

The property was absolutely fantastic . The house was in excellent shape and totally clean and ready when we arrived. There were 13 of us. The house is located in a very nice area of Northstar and not too far from the gondola, which we took and another chair lift to the top at the Zephyr Lodged for a wedding and dinner. Beautiful views a great weather
The Kitchen had everything you would ever need for a large group. All the best appliances and extra refrigerators

The game room down stairs was a hit for all ages including the Ping Pong table,9 in its own room) pool table, shuffleboard, giant t.v.,huge couch, etc. Two huge decks off the main floor and the downstairs game room. with a perfect hot tub and lots of room for Corn hole and other games.
The upper deck had a large shaped gas fireplace that was
amazing with enough room for 10-12 people. be sure and look at the website to see all these rooms and places to be.
And see why this house is almost always rented a year in advanced. A really unique place for any gathering.

Our stay - November 20 - November 27, 2022
Our family from various parts of the country all met here for the Thanksgiving week. The group included my wife and I our 3 children + spouses and 5 young grandchildren (ages 3 to 10). The adults really appreciated the 4 king suites and various other bedroom choices for the children. The grandkids spent many hours sledding behind the house, and we all spent a lot of time in the unbelievable game room. The free shuttle to NorthStar village was a big plus. Dave our host was very helpful before and during our stay.

We rented the property for a week for a work outting and we’re very happy with the property. There are a ton of games in the game room, lots of room, kitchen is great and worked out for our personal chef we brought in for one of the nights, and location is close to many grocery stores (10 minute drive) and North Star resort. We had some questions leading up to the stay for the property manager that we’re answered within hours and very easy to get ahold of. We went during the snow and the owner provides shovels and sleds and other snow gear which we thought was nice for a family that is staying there. Overall no complaints and highly recommend booking this property.

This was a GORGEOUS home in a fabulous location! We had a group of 17 with 12 adults and 5 kids 11-16yrs of age. The home was furnished beautifully and was very comfortable even with the large group we had. There were plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for all of us, which is hard to find for a large group. The game room was AMAZING and was definite hit, especially with the kids! We highly recommend this home, you won’t be disappointed!! And the owner, Dave was great to work with and very attentive. And the beautiful Fall weather and colors was the cherry on top!!

This Northstar home was perfect for our family! We were able to spread out and and have plenty of room for together time and private time. We loved the game room and all the things to do that Dave has throughout the house and on the outside deck to enhance your stay. The kitchen was stocked almost like our own home! The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful with hikes just down the street. You are close to Truckee, Donner Lake and Kings Beach/Lake Tahoe. We couldn't have picked a more perfect property!

Our stay was O K Not perfect. Several things in the house need looking into. The Dishwasher is broken, the lower tray has broken rollers so it sits on the lower arm and doesn't wash well if you can get to start at all. The great room TV turns on does not go to any streaming, Roku, or anything else. Hood fan in kitchen is VERY dirty, if not cleaned they will have a vent fire. There are no locks on the doors for the Jack & Jill Bath.. ??? There are many light bulbs out especially in the spa area. I received a 130 word text from the owner on Friday and another one Sat evening. After getting several e-mails with directions on the house, and being referred to the book on the house plus all the little signs everywhere, I thought it was overboard. We owned an historic ranch in the Carson Valley (NV) for more than 30 years. We did several years of weddings and events there. We have years of experience. I sorry that the owner seemed sure we would distroy his home. Too Bad. Celebrating 60 years of marriage with my family was perfect.

It had a fully stocked game room, kitchen supplies and utensils, and convenient North Tahoe location. The bedrooms all had comfortable beds, ample blankets and towels, and were all a good size. I’d rate this a 10 if I could. Fantastic property for our family of 15. We had lots of room to spread out. The game room is awesome as is the deck space. Communication with David was great. Very clean. Lake Tahoe was about 20 min away. The rec center in the community was excellent. We used it most days. It had a great gym, big pool, lap pool, hot tubs and kiddie pool. Great fun for all. We would definitely book again.

We loved the house. We had 17 in our group and there was plenty of room for everyone. The kids loved the game room and there was plenty of outdoor space to enjoy. We loved grilling out and hanging on the spacious decks. We spent a lot of time on the lake which was about a 30 min drive to the nice parts. It was a little warm in mid July without AC at night in parts of the home but we managed just fine. Highly recommend for a large family group.

Terrific North Star family vacation
Our 5 children, their spouses/partners and children all gathered together at this fabulous house near Lake Tahoe. The home was wonderfully appointed with a variety of items that that kept us all entertained and comfortable. I actually kept losing track of some of the 17 family members because the house was so large. There were 3 toddlers there and it was very easy to keep them entertained and safe. Everyone had a beautiful bedroom and it was a fantastically successful reunion. We are inspired to do it again.

Your BEAUTIFUL home exceeded ALL expectations for the perfect family vacation and celebration of the New Year. The location was ideal for our skiers: close to the Village, accessible to gondola and chairlifts and ideal for observing the spectacular fireworks display through the windows in living and dining areas. There was something for everyone: the gourmet chef and sommelier, the gamers and FUNlovers stayed up to the wee hours - unbelievable, the lazy relaxers/readers/TV streamers. More than enough comfy beds and beautiful bathrooms. Taste ful decor throughout and hot tub for skiers at end of every 7 hour day.Not to mention the magical winter wonderland of the surrounding trees and mountains. Great big vacation home!
We used this property for a large family reunion for 18 people from four families. This was an ideal house, with beautiful bedrooms and bathrooms for the adults and great bunk rooms for the kids. The home features an outstanding game room with a pool table, ping pong, shuffle board, and a large poker table. The two large decks, with a jacuzzi were perfect for enjoying the outdoors. It was the perfect place to gather, relax, and launch out to all the great adventures of the area.

The description of this home is thorough and accurate. It is beautiful and well situated in the North Star community. The outdoor spaces are large and very comfortable. The "game floor" is huge with fun activities for all. The kitchen is very well stocked with pots/pans/utensils to cook for a large group (we had 13) and ate in exclusively. The second fridge was a Godsend. The grill is excellent, as well. The owner was quick to respond to our few early questions. We all thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Silver Fox home and recommend it highly to others.
