RÉCEMMENT RÉNOVÉ! La propriété Westwind a fait l'objet d'une rénovation de 4 M $ pour commencer la saison de ski 18/19! Vue imprenable sur le mont Vail depuis votre balcon au quatrième étage de cet emplacement de Lionshead Village. Westwind bénéficie d'un nouveau bain à remous et d'une piscine ouverts toute l'année. Il est situé au cœur du village de Lionshead. Great location! This is the fourth time renting this unit; had issues with upstairs shower each stay...mentioned to management. This recent stay was told Not to use this shower, this was a real inconvenience with 7 people trying to get ready. I would think the owner would credit me something for the inoperable shower and inconvenience !

Wonderful, spacious unit. Beautiful views of entire mountain. Well appointed kitchen. Very practical,roomy foyer,made for skiing. Only negative is terrible shower. Almost impossible to regulate temperature. This comes from using ' no name's shower body ( hot/ cold controller). Sally at front desk was especially helpful.

Some of the condo’s furnishings are somewhat worn & tired-looking, specifically the sofas which sag & the coffee table is wobbly.

The location and decor of the unit were great. However it had some maintenance and condition issues that brought it down. The biggest issue was a musty smell from the closet in the master bedroom. Other issues were windows that had no screens and some would not open. The master bed was uncomfortable. It is a well decorated and updated unit and the location was great.

Fantastic! The unit was just as decribed with the bonus of an in-unit washer dryer. Not deal breakers, but be aware:1. We never received the any cleaning services which were supposed to be included with 1 week rental.2. No air conditioning and the apt did stay hot at night3. Smoke alarm broke and was never fixed. Beeped all night one night

The staff at Westwind were incredibly nice and accommodating. The unit was clean -and even ready early. But the unit itself itself is a bit rundown and feels like it has been ignored. The fan in the 3rd floor bedroom didn’t work- and the window in that room was broken and not easily opened/closed. I’m tact while trying to open it the blinds fell off the rail on the left side. There are no screens on most of the windows. The couches are old and worn out. The kitchen has drawers that don’t even fully open because they hit other knobs etc. very much feels like a place that is used strictly for rentals with minimal- if any- upkeep over the years.

We had the best stay. Only issue was cleaning people came on Thanksgiving. And we said it wasn’t a good time. We were there for 4 more days and they never returned. Even after we called the front desk. So for 8 days we had no house keeping. I ended up washing our towels multiple times so we had fresh towels. We are a fam of 5.

Great location in Lionshead!
Short walk to gondola through cute town center. Rented skis at Vail Ski Tech, which Westwind recommended-they gave us a coupon for rentals. Place was great! Will definitely come back

Great space right near the slopes
Four of us headed out to Vail and it was my first time skiing. The space was cozy yet spacious enough for everyone to have some privacy. Have the view of the slopes was great to watch early skiers while we had breakfast and we were able to walk right to the lifts which was awesome. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location
Great location! Well-stocked kitchen. Comfortable beds. The only complaints we had were the door knob on the downstairs bedroom door kept falling off, even after we requested service. So we couldn't shut our door or we'd get locked in/out. The sofa pillows were shedding down feathers on our clothing. The upstairs shower door was not connected at the bottom so you had to be careful to not allow it to swing too wide open/fall off totally. We reported these items early in our stay. They only tried to repair the door knob, but it fell off again the next time we used it. No attempts were made to repair the shower door.

Perfect location! Very clean and well maintained. We missed 1st night due to I70 closed due to snow. Bought insurance. Filled out lot of online forms now waiting to see if paying for insurance was worth it or not?!?

Vail vacation
We had a great experience at this condo. Close to everything we wanted and added bonus of seeing the down hill parade and fireworks from the balcony on New Year’s Eve!
Would definitely rent the condo again!
