Beautiful Upgraded Village Condo Just Steps To Gondola!
Imaginez ..... réveiller de bonnes nuits de sommeil dans un lit king size avec couette et oreillers pour un beau matin de neige fraîche. Prenez l'ascenseur vers le bas et l'étape de quelques pieds de diamètre à Starbucks pour votre café du matin pour commencer la journée. Faire cuire un petit déjeuner rapide dans notre cuisine entièrement équipée ou prendre un petit déjeuner en bas à New York Deli. Après le petit déjeuner, prendre l'ascenseur vers le bas pour votre propre casier à skis privé et sortir de la télécabine situé ici dans le Village. Puis, après une journée épique sur la montagne, prendre le ski en arrière piste jusque dans le Village et entrer dans le bâtiment à votre casier à skis. Prenez l'ascenseur à l'étage et il est maintenant temps d'un bain à remous! Enfilez votre maillot de bain, prenez une robe et aller se détendre! Revenez à l'appartement pour une douche rapide et maintenant il est temps de choisir un endroit pour dîner parmi les nombreuses options merveilleuses ici dans le Village. Après le dîner, aller prendre une bonne bouteille de vin de la Market Village et soit vous détendre sur notre 4ème étage balcon pour regarder les gens marchent par, regarder un film sur votre téléviseur à écran plat, ou si vous êtes partant pour un parti, consultez Lakanuki ou de cuisine 53 dans le village et danser toute la nuit! Donc, de nombreuses options pour le plaisir ... si peu de temps !!

En fait, vous pouvez garer votre voiture dans notre structure de stationnement chauffé et ne pas avoir à y revenir jusqu'à ce que vous rentrez chez vous. Voilà un particulier bien utile en hiver quand les routes peuvent devenir glaciale.

We’ve stayed at several properties at Mammoth. This was nicely furnished. This unit is located in the older “White Mountain Lodge. PROs: Great bed. New appliances. Nice Bathroom towels. CONs: Small living room. Small bedroom, extremely limited storage space. Small bathroom. No bathrobes to get to jacuzzi. Note: this building is further away from Pool and Jacuzzi area. No portable luggage rack (very needed when there is no dresser for storage.

We knew it was gonna be hot this week so we specifically looked for a spot with AC. There is a portable AC unit with no exhaust vent hose.......these only work if you can run the hot air out of a window. Plus we couldn't open the door on the deck because there was a hornets nest outside. We would come back in the evening and it would be like an oven in the condo. 99% of the time, this isnt an issue in mammoth, but it was in the 90s this week. Aside from that issue, everything else was nice.

Everything was just as listed. The facility is nice and walking distance to numerous restaurants and the Gondola. We didn't even use our car the entire time. The only insider tip I would give is bring you own pillows. The bed pillows were like pancakes.

This condo is simple and basic. It was clean and in a great location. Television and internet worked well. The bed was very comfortable. My only suggestions would be to install grab bars in the tub/shower (it is a very deep shower) and to have a small step ladder/stool in the unit. The cabinets in the kitchen were quite high and I (5’1”) couldn’t reach many items. Also, it would be nice to stock coffee filters and some coffee.

Little confusion at booking due to Vrbo sending me 2 different property IDs for the same property.
A little issue, not with the owner, with the building management was the maintenance team came to fix some thing in the building. They dropped/left quite a few screws in the parking garage. I picked up a few at my parking spot when I got back one afternoon. Not sure how many cars would get some in their tires.

We visited Mammoth for the epic Summer Skiing for a Father's Day weekend getaway from DC! The village is fabulous and the unit is perfectly situated on the 4th floor with a great balcony, underground parking, a pool and jacuzzi and the owners had a Britta filter pitcher in the refrigerator which was so thoughtful. The unit itself was fairly dark but, we were rarely spent much time there.
Unfortunately, we made (4) attempts to reach the owners to request a late checkout and didn't hear back from them once..that was the most disappointing part of our rental experience as we hoped that they would have had the courtesy to respond.
All in all, we would certainly return to the Village area condos as the location just can't be beat!

Great location, short walk to the gondola and steps from village ski trail at the end of the day. Unit is comfy, clean and well equipped. The ski locker was very convenient. Being in the village made the trip so easy with no need to drive our entire stay. Loved it!!

The property was advertised to air-conditioning, however, there was non available when arrived. Apparently the Village Condos have plug in AC units and there was not one provided in the condo. It was in the mid to low 80s making the apartment very hot. Had to sleep with the window open and the balcony door open all night. However, as is above the Lakanuki restaurant/bar which is open until 2 am, we were unable to sleep do to the noise.

Good but not perfect
This condo was really nice. There were a couple of small things that could improve the experience. The main issue was that the living room windows don’t open. We had to prop open the balcony door because the door stop was broken. Also several of the electrical outlets need to be replaced. They are either broken or loose. The swing lock on the front door was also broken. These are small details of an otherwise great condo. We would definitely come back.

Horrible communication with property manager
I accidentally left two clothing items in the closet. I texted the owner the same afternoon after I had checked out as well as the following day to inquire about retrieving my items and never got a response. I would not recommend staying here if you actually need any assistance related to your stay.

Mediocre at best
The listing says upgraded, I wonder when that was posted. It looked and felt like it was a pretty basic place like every other one in this building would have been. The hallways were extremely hot, the room was a sauna and only one window opened to get some air. Had to leave the swinging patio door open all night long to get a little air in the room. I would imagine they would leave a fan or something for their renters but none available. It would have been fine in the winter with heat, but not fun when it's 80+ outside. The blinds were dusty, the light shade stained, the recliner felt like it was from the thrift store, and the fold out mattress on the couch was about 5 inches thick and if you can imagine, not comfy at all. The bathroom is really dark, the shower curtain prevented any light from coming in the shower because that was dark too. We were locked out of our room because the electronic locking device died, took over an hour for maintenance to basically break in to our room. Had to cancel our plans because everything closes early here. I loved the convenience of everything being right below us. From restaurants, coffee place, shops. Downfall is with the door and windows wide open(because of the heat) the club/bar patrons are yelling below. I wouldn't stay again, our family were at different spots and they had a much better stocked kitchen and cleaner locations. Owner did offer us a $50 discount for the lock problem, but a night ruined is worth more then that when you are away on vacation. Pretty disappointing stay unfortunately
