Great location, owners are great.

My girlfriend and I were up in Hood River celebrating a wedding. This property was so perfect for us! Our hosts were so sweet and the location of the property was great. It was close to a lot of restaurants and small shops, but not to close to the busy downtown area. The place was super clean and had great light. We were able to enjoy coffee out on the deck every morning and listen to the songbirds. Loved the place and will certainly be looking to stay there again.

Lovely and very clean 2 bedroom, 1 bath, fully equipped kitchen apartment. Has everything one might want for their time in the Hood River area. Easy to get to the town proper, though it does take a car, unless you really like to walk. Quieter neighborhood with its own character. Wonderful deck with 2 grill options. Hosts are very friendly and accommodating, making sure guests needs are met. You can't go wrong in choosing this property.

Enjoyed spending a long weekend with family in this lovely apartment. The location is residential, backing up to a green space with beautiful trees, but walking distance to several restaurants and an easy drive to downtown. The apartment was clean and comfortable. Hosts were friendly and easy to communicate with. Look forward to returning!

We had a great time during our recent stay in Hood River. Our accommodations were tidy, clean and convenient to all that the town has to offer. We were just a quick block walk away from the concert in the park on Thursday night and enjoyed evenings on the back porch. The owner was lovely and made check in, out and communication easy during our visit.

The place was very clean, was in a great location, and was nicely furnished. We felt very safe and at home in the neighborhood and were able to walk to some local spots. The hosts live next door and were accommodating. We truly enjoyed our stay in Hood River and would love to come back and stay here again.

Love this place for staying. The property is spotless with everything we need on vacation. The living room and patio are spacious. Lots of board games for my four year old kid. The apartment owner, Kirk, lives at next door are super helpful. He recommends places to go and restaurants to try. All of them are super good. Thanks a lot for hosting this lovely stay. Will be back again.

Perfect location and lovely home. We had just a short visit, so didn’t take advantage of the fully stocked kitchen or the lovely deck. Only thing I would change is the king bed was too soft. When we stopped the bed when we were leaving I saw that it had a thick pad on it that had we took it off it might have been ok. Lovely dog we’ll call “blue flying saucer”- LOL. Thanks for the nice stay!

My family loved this property and location (walked to pine street bakery everyday day and fed goats on the way). Clean. Well stocked. Great! Only thing I would note is the beds are very soft. Not a bad thing since bed firmness is so personal but just an FYI. Thanks for a great stay!

The Zack’s property was a solid 5 in all respects: cleanliness; excellent location; easy check-in; welcoming hosts; comfortable accommodations... Can’t think of a single thing to improve, it’s that good. Thank you for the enjoyable stay in Hood River.

This place could not have been better for our adventures in Hood River! There is absolutely everything you could need, including a FULLY stocked kitchen, extra towels, a bed so comfortable that it makes you not want to go home to your own brand new bed, a wonderful patio to relax on, and so much more! The location was great. It was close to everything. Also, Kirk was so very helpful. He recommended some great places to eat and hike. He even gave us advice for the next leg of our trip on the coast! It was honestly hard to be content at our next location because this one was so great. I really hope that we will be able to return to Hood River and this home again some day.

The location in Hood River is excellent in a quiet neighborhood, walking distance to a few places to eat. The place is spacious, clean, well stock. The beds were comfortable. Great weekend for the 3 of us!

A lovely place to spend a weekend with my sister. We had everything we needed and appreciated being just a short walk to downtown. Loved staring out at the trees into the deck from the living room— it was like being in the canopy.

Property was in a nice and quiet location surrounded by trees. Area was walkable and close to restaurants, bank, gas and groceries. My cousins and I had a great time, owners were helpful and I'd definitely rent from the Zack family again. We honestly did not want to leave on Sunday. Great stay!! Cherylyn

Alas, what a great property! Lovely and bright, super clean and plenty of room for anything you are in the mood to do -- make a lovely meal, long afternoon nap, have visitors.The communication with Sherie, the property owner, was sublime and I hope that every time I am able to go to Hood River Sherry's place is open!!! Yay!

Nice clean property. Close to everything.

The place was very cozy and clean. It was close to downtown so we walked to a local bakery. There was a really nice park just down the street also. There is a very friendly resident dog that always wanted to say hi to us. The place was upstairs so there were stairs to climb. The only thing that was missing was some coffee for the coffee machine. But we loved our stay here and will consider coming back someday!

The Zack’s are amazing hosts and the apartment was very comfortable for our family. The spacious living area and deck was perfect for our time together. The close proximity to the park and the restaurant options within walking distance were ideal. The apartment was very clean overall and proper COVID precautions were in place, however some dirt on the floor was revealed by our crawling baby. We greatly enjoyed our time in Hood River and hope to visit the Zacks again someday!

My husband and 2 young daughters (4&2) stayed at this property prior to Labor Day for a week. First and foremost, the communication with the owner (Sherie) was flawless. From questions prior to arrival and throughout the stay, she was timely and thorough. As for the home, it was very clean upon arrival and they even provided masks/hand sanitizer during this crazy time. It was fully stocked: kitchen had EVERYTHING, beach towels along with extra linens, beach chairs and even a cooler to use for beach time. Traveling with 2 little ones is always tough but this house was spacious and had an expansive deck to run around (the poor neighbors and gal who lived underneath had to tolerate my girls' early wake-up :) We prefer our beds fairly firm and both beds were super super soft but that didn't impact our stay. The area around the house was fabulous too! There was a park/playground a half a block down and a delicious bakery 1 block away that was perfect for breakfast sandwiches, pastries and espresso/coffee drinks. The owners (who live next door) were respectful but available as needed and their sweet dog Layla was a huge bonus in our eyes - my daughter keeps saying she wants to go back to see Layla 4 days later. We highly recommend this property and will be back to Hood River in the near future!
