We were very pleased with the cabin and amenities. The cabin was clean and ready for our stay. We got to enjoy a day in due to rain then we enjoyed a day exploring. Our day exploring ended with some snow and the kids were elated.

Cabin well decorated and furnished nicely. Amenities listed a hot tub but NO HOT TUB here. Jacuzzi tub in master bathroom but it is not a hot tub. This was a major deciding factor for us so this changed our weekend plans. Notified host of error in listing. He apologized several times and was not aware it was listed as a hot tub in the amenities. Side note, kitchen table is still very sticky. Noted this on previous reviews but not fixed yet.

Very nice cabin that was exactly as described. Feels secluded with beautiful views, yet is close enough to town and area landmarks to do lots of activities. It was the perfect size place for seven of us. I would definitely stay there again.

Enjoyed this beautifully decorated, very clean, and well stocked cabin. Near to where we wanted to visit. Had problem with gas logs and owner was working on their repair. Mainly warm week so we really didn't need them. Not sure about the Christmas decorations already out and didn't like the proximity to Highway. But would highly recommend for those folks especially there for Boones and ASU activities.

We could hear the traffic from the road. We felt that the price was high for the amenities that we didn’t have.Such as no music,games,toiletries,firewood.The dining room table was very sticky and we couldn’t play cards on it.It did have a mountain feeling. The website is a bit misleading.Going on the road to the house could definitely use some better markers.

House was super, perfect for our stay. House had all of the amenities we needed. Centrally located to get the sites we wanted to visit. Road noise while outside broken into the silence of the mountains.

The lodging was extraordinary in appearance, warmth, and comfort. The pictures truly don’t do the place justice. The master bedroom was well appointed and comfortable. The kitchen well-supplied as well as other rooms. The interior design really jived with the October fall colors. Quite surprising that it was somewhat dressed up ready for Christmas. The outdoor area reflected the mountains theme. Only drawback was the road noise coming from Hwy 105.

Very nice in all respects road noise

Beautiful home that is reasonable and well stocked. The drive in is not for the faint of heart! We arrived late afternoon during a rain storm. Where the drive "peaks" and transitions from pavement to crushed stone is very akin to the stall at the precipice of a rollercoaster ride being unable to see the drive again until the headlights finally regain it. The approach and parking area were extremely tight for a full size truck and 16' enclosed trailer. Aside from the nerve wrecking first trip up the driveway and the tight space for our truck and trailer, this IS a fantastic rental property that more than met our needs offering plenty of space to park 3 to 4 vehicles without any trailers. TVs, water heater and A/C all worked great and everything needed for our stay was readily available. As a bounus, this is the first VRBO we have stayed at was so generous with trash bags, laundry pods and dishwasher pods. John is very responsive and easy to communicate with.

Great place to get away and enjoy the mountains

Well-equipped high-country cabin conveniently located between Boone and Blowing Rock. Very comfortable with both indoor and outdoor areas for relaxing, eating and socializing. Great getaway located in a secluded area.

Pretty, well stocked and clean home. Convenient to Boone, Banner Elk, and Blowing Rock. Beds are comfortable, linens are nice, ample towels. Our family of 6 had plenty of space.

Staying in this cabin was a highlight of our Spring road trip along the Blue Ridge Parkway. The location is close to the Parkway and other major routes, as well as to stores and restaurants. Very convenient to eat both at the house and to go out for a meal. The property is private with a great view, and plenty of options to enjoy relaxing outside. Plenty of space inside to spend time together, and to have some time to yourself. The cabin is clean, and the property is well maintained. Information for check in/check out was sent in a timely manner, and we had all the information needed prior to arrival. I look forward to returning!

This was our 2nd stay at the cabin and it did not disappoint. Our family was in town for our daughter's graduation. The cabin was a short drive to campus and had room for everyone. The kitchen is well equipped. The family room has plenty of seating. We would definitely recommend it to others.

It was my wife's birthday. The location was a little intimidating at first but worth it once you reach the house on the hill. Awesome.

Loved everything about this stay

This cabin was just perfect! The kitchen has every thing you need! They have thought of every decor touch to make an enjoyable stay! The beds and linens are cozy and tastefully done! I really enjoyed our mother daughter stay. I would only say to drive with caution on the way to the cabin if the weather calls for snow. However, we are from Florida and not use to driving in snow! Five stars for sure!!
