Our group of 7 loved our stay here. The upper and lower suites accomdated us perfectly. Private beach and infinity pool were amazing. You can easily enjoy a full day lounging by the pool, paddleboarding or kayaking. We even had a few mean games if corn hole. The pier is convenient to get picked up for boat tours. Just a short 10 min golf cart ride from town.

Location was perfect for us being South of San Pedro as it is a quiet private oasis on this property. We spent most days with coffee outside on the patio while watching the most beautiful sun rises, drinking ice cold beer while fishing off the pier (yes, we caught enough fish to fillet and eat wonderful fish tacos, etc.), enjoyed afternoons barbecuing and swimming in the spacious salt water pool, and ended the evenings having drinks out at a wonderful local container bar (Stax Sunset Bar). Robin, the bartender at Stax, makes the best frozen coconut mojito! We enjoyed the little longer (20-30 minute) golf cart rides and going out exploring around town and North over the bridge. Those days were great for trying more restaurants, beach bars, live music night life, souvenir shopping and any larger grocery shopping needs. Jason, property manager/concierge, helped us as much or as little as we wanted. He booked puddle jumper flights, started us off with some grocery provisions, booked boat charters for fishing, helped us pick other excursions (snorkeling with sharks), coordinated additional cleaning days, and gave us much information on everything else we inquired. Having Jason as a resource allowed us to spend more of our time truly vacationing and relaxing. We’re looking forward to planning our next trip to Ambergris Caye and La Casa Gran Azul!

If you are coming to Ambergris Caye, this is the place to stay! From the very beginning, Jason was on top of everything for us. He was truly amazing, helpful and so full of knowledge. It made our trip so easy! It was our first time traveling to Belize. We had a group of 10 adults and the house was perfect for us! The location was perfect. Close enough to town but far enough away to have privacy and relaxation. All the amenities were also super appreciated. The pool, paddle boards and kayak were a big hit with our group. The island ia beautiful and the house is beautiful. We'll be coming back to Belize and when we do, we'll be staying here!

We really liked the house! The pool was wonderful - waking up to that view every day could not be beat. The house was fully stocked in the kitchen and we did cook a few meals in. Jason was awesome - very responsive, knowledgeable and helpful. We really enjoyed meeting Gord and Heather at Happy’s! Close by via golf cart to Happy’s, Stax and Some Place South. Easy check-in and out as well. A/C for the bedrooms was perfect.

We enjoyed our stay here! The home and pool area were clean and comfortable. Pros: AC in every room which worked well! Very secluded, never saw anyone unless we ventured out. Jason, the manager, was a wealth of knowledge and helped us immensely with many things. The Pool was huge and there was plenty of room for everyone. The views from the deck were incredible! Cons: We couldn’t walk into the ocean due to so much sea grass/mud, but even swimming off the dock wasn’t a great option because the wooden steps into the water were soft and felt like they would break. So we found beach areas to swim in elsewhere. I also felt like the kitchen could have been a little better equipped for the price point the home was in.

This property comes with absolutely stunning views. You can sit on the dock and watch fish and sting ray's swim by, it is magical! We had a great time in the 8 days we were there, the weather did not cooperate the entire time, but it was still amazing. The pool is awesome and Jason the concierge is awesome, super friendly and so helpful. I would definitely reccomend this house for a big group. Because of the weather it seemed further from town than we thought, but that is because we were driving in the rain. On the 4 beautiful days we were there, we enjoyed the ocean and pool, played cornhole and paddle boarded, it is a great place and has everything you need!!

Concierge arranged for taxis to pick us up, for transportation while we were there, and for outings. Drivers and guides were wonderfully friendly and knowledgeable. Made our 50th anniversary a trip to remember.

A great place to stay.

Wonderful location with a semi-private dock where our friend the stingray greets us in the morning. The pool is delightful even in a rainstorm. The downstairs remains cooler than the upstairs during the hot sunny days, and some of the amenities could use an upgrade, but the property manager and their dogs are delightful and respectful and more than makeup for that. We would come back in a heartbeat.

House was perfect for our multi-generational family. Grandparents and childless adults on ground level and babies and toddlers on second floor!! Win, Win...Would like to thank house manager, Jason, who was so helpful with all our questions and any small issues we had. He had great recommendations for restaurants, Chefs, boat captains and photographer. Spent so much time in the amazing onsite pool. The pool was the highlight of our trip. Would definitely rent again!!

Just had a family vacation at this property! Several families from all over the US and we met up in San Pedro. It was a great property for our families and comfortably fit 10 adults. It was private and just the right amount of distance from the hustle and bustle. Jason was beyond helpful and made everything a smooth transition for us. The pool was bigger than it looked in photos also which was great. We loved our stay and look forward to returning some day! Go Bills! :)

If you are looking for luxury, this isn't your place. If you are looking for a warm welcome and a nice home with a great location you have found the place. Jason was very responsive and met almost all of our needs.

We had such an amazing time in San Pedro! Perfect house for a group of 10 and Jason was super on top of communications with us the whole week, sharing recommendations and tips for things we should do. The property itself was perfect for hanging out during the day, but we also had a great time renting golf carts and exploring the island. Would 100% recommend!

The property was spectacular we loved the hammock out on the pier. Just laying by the infinity pool was what we all needed. Our host Jason was always helpful had some great suggestions for outings. Beautiful spot anyone would enjoy!

Everything from booking to checking out was smooth and easy. The property and amenities were exactly as listed and pictured. Our concierge, Jason went above and beyond for us! He was super friendly, helpful and chill, attentive to all of our needs. We loved the house and property. We had 7 adult family members who were all very comfortable. The location was perfect, close to town yet secluded and private. The view was spectacular! Loved the salt water pool and all the outdoor seating areas. Our vacation was simply perfect thanks to this wonderful place to stay!

Casa Azul was the perfect vacation spot for our multi-generation family of 7. The house itself was immaculate and spacious. The pool and grounds were impeccably maintained daily by a friendly groundskeeper. We made good use of the paddle boards. The dock was perfect for the most beautiful sunsets and early morning coffee. The views from the upper deck are stunning. Jason was incredible, helping us with recommendations for everything from tours to restaurants. Jason also helped us with our Tropic Air itineraries, airport shuttles, golf carts and a pick up at our dock for the Lamanai Tour. He made a great week even better. We would highly recommend Casa Azul. Thank you for a great vacation.

For 10-days we’re we’re in paradise. Property manager, Jason, Anna and baby Malilla were absolutely incredible hosts. A total of 5 couples traveled to celebrate a 50th birthday. When we arrived, Jason was there to greet us with herbal cold towels and a big smile. He took his time showing us around and answering a ton of questions. Over the course of 5 months leading up to our holiday, Jason assisted us with almost every detail; golf cart rentals, massages at the house, excursions, dinner reservations and Palapa’s at Secret Beach. In our opinion, this home was better than the photos shown. They are continuing to update the property and pay attention to every detail. We saw a pool service at least twice and and each morning the entire property was raked and is well maintained. Bring from Michigan, we made a goody bag for Jason and family that included a UofM tee-Shirt. Considering we were there over New Years, we invited him to be a fan for the day and join us for the game. He and his family showed up at the Truck Stop and he even wore his Wolverine shirt. Yay! At the home we saw dolphins off the dock, scorpions, a tarantula, frogs and more. The house truly butts up to jungle. We were lucky that most of the time there we had a great breeze which help keep the mosquitoes down. Both the sunrise and sunset can be seen from the dock (each were spectacular). I can’t thank Jason and his family enough for making this trip one of the best experiences we’ve ever had, including getting up at 5 AM on departure day to begin seeing us all off. (Last group left at 9 AM) and he played Frank Sinatra, I Did It My Way on his portable speaker. (Nice touch). Dearest home owners, Jason and his family made our experience a perfect 10, although we almost stole his dog, Dutchie - what a sweetheart. You are blessed to have him and looking forward to sharing with our entire network that there isn’t a better place to stay. We HIGHLY recommend this house on your next trip to San Pedro, Belize!

Our family had a wonderful stay at la Gran Casa Azul. We enjoyed many great activities on the island, and Jason was extremely helpful and knowledgeable with all aspects of our stay—from golf cart rentals to restaurant tips to options for outings. The pool and dock are lovely for spending time outdoors with a group. Thanks for the memorable week!

We loved Belize and we loved the Big blue house! Jason and Emma were awesome, very friendly and helpful with all our needs. The house was roomy and comfortable (7 people), and the Pool is fabulous. We loved both coffee and cocktails on pier. The setting is secluded and peaceful, but a 10 minute golf cart ride gets you to downtown San Pedro. We did think the kitchen was under supplied (basic spices, plastic ware for poolside etc). Great Christmas vacation for 7 adults.

Casa Gran Azul has almost everything - great location, gorgeous setting and views, pool, dock and water toys, and friendly and extremely helpful host. If only the interior got some refreshing, it would be ideal. Both floors could use updated furniture (cracked or broken chair in each) and they also need more and better kitchenware. Also note that the upstairs unit is much bigger and brighter than the downstairs, more than the bedroom differential would signify. Was ideal for our two families to stay in one location but have separate spaces (exterior stairs only).

Amazing stay for a group of 8 friends. The house had so much open area for all of us to hang out. The pool was absolutely beautiful and enjoyed every day. The grounds were maintained every day. The dock was wonderful to sit out in from enjoying a cup of coffee watching the sun rise to having a cocktail in the evening watching the sun set! Our vacation went so smoothly because of Jason and Emma. Emma welcomed us with cold refreshing washcloths! Jason organized rentals, transportation and provided so many island suggestions. Thank you so much. The only downside for us was the distance to town but that surely didn’t hold us back! Oh..and thank you for sharing Duchie with us :)

Dealing with the hurricane could’ve been a nightmare but our host , Gord, has been gracious and a pleasure to work with as was the caretaker and point of contact , Jason. The villa is spacious, lovely and In a great location with a spectacular view!

Lovely home that fit all 7 of us perfectly. Jason and Emma were wonderful hosts and made sure we had everything we needed. Jason helped schedule everything so that took a lot of stress off of us. We had a wonderful time and will remember this time together forever!
