This was a perfect property for a family stay to visit with my son and his family who live in Carlsbad. We enjoyed the back yard area and the location was great.

We loved this place! The backyard was so wonderful to just relax in at the end of the day with our dogs! Super comfortable and cozy. It is in a great location to walk to the beach and shops and restaurants! Such a great place. We will be back!

the place was easy to find despite it being a little hidden away which we liked because there was no competing for parking in this busy area. The house well appointed and nice to have bedrooms upstairs with a nice sized living room downstairs if someone want to go to sleep early. They bikes, and beach gear making it very convenient. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. The host was very easily reachable.

We were in town for a family reunion. The location was great for us, very close to our reunion activities and the beach. Loved the house, backyard and the washer/dryer. We would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay here. Loved sitting out in the backyard in the evenings enjoying the cooler temps (we are from AZ) and really enjoyed getting out of the heat. Loved the dual Master suites. The property was as advertised and had everything we needed!

This is just what we were looking for. Lovely, clean, spacious home next to the ocean. We loved relaxing in the backyard and the separate bedrooms upstairs with private bathrooms was perfect for my friend and I.

Accommodations were perfect for our family of 6, including a 3 & 8 yr old. The location was great. The host was very responsive. We’ll definitely recommend this home to family and friends.

We were very happy with the house! The only exception was the very smelly garage that smelled strongly of cat pee. But luckily we did not need to spend much time in there. The house was clean with good supplies and decent cookware. The back yard was cute and we would have enjoyed it more in better weather. My son loved the outdoor shower. The living space was cozy and we appreciated the cozy blankets. The carpets could use an upgrade as there were several stains, but the house was otherwise clean and gray smelling and lived up to our hopes!

House needs some TLC, like a serious deep clean, especially since they allow pets. The smell of synthetic air freshener overwhelmed me as soon as I walked in the door. I found 3 airwick plug-in “air fresheners” in the space and had to unplug and put in the garage as they truly gave me a headache. The sheets were so overwhelming scented with synthetic cheap dryer sheet smell I found myself congested and itchy. I had to run them through a just water cycle in the washer to get the smell out. My husband was congested from the build up of pet dander in the not so clean carpets in the bedrooms and stairwell. This place has potential, as the location is good, it really just needs a serious deep clean, carpets removed and to stop using so much synthetically scented products in the space.

We stayed 3 nights - family of 4 with two kids 8 and 10. The house is in a GREAT LOCATION with a short walk to the beach and to restaurants and shops.
The amenities were OK. Bring your own soap, shampoo, cooking needs. Not sure if there wasn’t live TV available or if we just didn’t figure it out. We wanted to watch March Madness games and ended up casting them to the TV.
Host was very responsive but not flexible on the 10a check out time.
Overall very nice stay.

The house was much bigger than expected! I loved how close it was from the surf. Internet was fast enough for two people to be on Zoom meetings simultaneously with no lag. I had some questions for the host; they were friendly and very responsive. We had a great stay!

Everything was as advertised and the host was very responsive. Very easy access to Grandview surf spot and Beacons was only a few minutes away. You can also walk to coffee, food and some shopping.

As locals looking to get a place for my father and sister, this was a perfect place. Spacious and secluded in a great location with available parking, it was the perfect spot for them. Awesome communication from host. Would love to book again when family is in town!

Fantastic, quiet rental with a fab outdoor area. Loved the outdoor shower. Well stocked with beach stuff, very short walk to Grandview beach. Couldn’t have had a better location. We loved that it wasn’t generic furniture and decorations. Really has the old school surf beach feel, feels like someone’s long-time Leucadian surf house. Four friends staying together , one had to sleep ion the couch as there was a full size or queen bed? and one king bed. Would stay again.

Great townhome at the end of a quiet culdesac. Surfed almost daily at the nearby Grandview Surf Beach which had a great mellow vibe. Didn’t want to leave. Lots of good food nearby. Legoland was great to entertain the kids

We loved this home! It has everything you need from extra blankets, to quaint outdoor seating, every pot and pan you could ever need as well as clean spacious bedrooms.
We enjoyed drinking coffee on our morning walks to the donut shop then the beach! I highly recommend this one, a classic gem.

The location was pretty close to the beach, but a bit of ways from the kids friendly beaches. The property was clean-ish, comfortable, and had plenty of amenities. However, we would’ve wish it provided us with beach towels so we don’t have to bring our own or allowed us to charge our electric car. Overall, good experience.

We had a lovely stay, plenty of room for all of us. We enjoyed the back patio in the evenings, walking to the beach and to restaurants. It was a perfect home base for our CA visit.

The location was great, very walkable, lots of really good restaurants nearby and a quiet neighborhood. I do not recommend staying here in August.The townhouse does not have a "fan system" for air only heat. It gets very warm upstairs. We found old and dirty fans in closets and used those. The temp inside typically was 78-80(even on the days/nights it was nice outside) so we spent most of our time outside to stay cool and keep our pets cool. The Townhouse could use some tlc.There are only one set of sheets for each bed and only one wash cloth per bathroom. Which meant lots of laundry during our stay for the month. The living room couch is extremely soft, we bolstered it with some pillows. The kitchen does not have adequate glassware and very little plastic glassware for outdoor use. We did have a delay of about an hour at checkin due to not receiving the entry code. The property manager did respond to questions asked in a timely manner.

Encinitas vacation
This property is in a fabulous location. The neighborhood was quite, safe and a short walk to the beach. You can easily walk to local restaurants as well. It felt very spacious for a 2/2.5. The backyard was great as were the 2 parking spaces. It was nice to have the garage for extra storage and on-site laundry was wonderful since we stayed for almost two months. The only cons to our stay was the cleanliness of the space. We had to request an extra cleaning when we arrived. We did ask to arrive a bit before check-in, so, that may have affected the pre-cleaning process. We did suggest a deep cleaning to the property manager, so, this will most likely not be a problem for future renters. Overall, it was great for me and my family.

Month in Encinitas
We enjoyed our stay here. Location was great (could walk/bike to beaches, restaurants and other attractions) and house was as advertised. Bikes, hot tub, grill and fireplace worked out super for us during our extended stay. There were a few small issues which we communicated. Easy ones - missing bike lock and new backyard hose were addressed immediately. I replaced a bike tire tube. New dishwasher was delivered while we were there but installation had to be delayed. Bike tuneups to fix some gearing and brake issues would be welcomed by bike riding guests. All in all we really enjoyed our stay.

Encinitas Gem!
This was our families 3rd time staying in this house while vacationing in Encinitas, and we were just as happy with our stay as ever. Our favorite part is the lovely backyard space! We loved relaxing in the hot tub in the evenings, having drinks under the shade, or reading a book on a quiet morning. Thanks again for a wonderful stay!

Excellent stay. Great location to walk to nearby beaches, nice hot tub and outdoor space. Only issue was that the pull out couch bed in the second bedroom wasn’t a full bed, more like sleeping on a couch. But would highly recommend!

Lovely Home in a Lovely Location
Enjoyed two great weeks a block away from the beach and walking distance to some solid takeout places. A nice way to quarantine before the holidays. Would highly recommend to others. Thanks again for the great experience!

August stay in Encinitas
The townhome was perfect for our stay. My wife and I hosted our daughter, her husband and their two young children for a 4 night stay for our son's wedding. The place was clean and exactly as described. The bedrooms are very good size. The small day bed in the 2nd bedroom was perfect for our grandson.
Everything worked well, including the spa. However, the refrigerator and freezer were not cold enough. The owner was very responsive in getting a repairman to fix it, although he failed to actually repair it.
My only real gripe is the check-in time is a bit late.

Home Away from Home in Paradise
We loved our stay in your condo because it was just like being at home, but only in paradise. The beds and bedding were so comfortable and we slept like babies. We loved the roominess of the place as we were able to eat, play, and lounge together in the living room, the inside dining room, the outside dining room, and jacuzzi. We loved how it provided beach chairs, boogie boards, and bikes. We also loved being close by to everything else we needed like ice cream, taco shops, and donuts. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back!

Perfect for Couples Retreat
Perfect! My wife and I vacationed with another couple. This Leucadia, California townhome provided exactly what we needed. The location was great - close to the beach and countless restaurants. The two-suite layout provided each couple with absolute convenience. Very cool patio area with a hot tub. And you can't beat the price in that area. We loved our vacation retreat!
