Great place. Walking distance to town. Quiet.

Four of us spent 2 nights at this lovely rental that is in a perfect location for walks into town . Such a cute home with comfortable beds , great showers , nice outdoor space for sitting and enjoying a cup of coffee or wine . We did wine tastings the 2 days we were there and had 2 fabulous dinners at the restaurants in Carlton . This home is perfect and was immaculate . Thank you 😊

If you have found this lovely guest cottage, stop looking and book! The pictures on line are totally true. The house was more than enough for the two of us, and it would be great for two couples as bedrooms are across from each other and both have their own bathrooms. The home was so very clean and it was wonderful to come back after a day of wine tasting and lounge on the comfy couch. The location is also great as it's so central to everything and easy to get to wineries and other towns. The owner provided so much information before and during our stay which is always appreciated. We'll be back!

This review, while it has nothing but praise is focused on what we look for when we look for a place to stay. We start by booking only premier owner-operated properties. Our experience with property managers has been too hit or miss. Here is our read on the owners of the Park Street Guest Cottage, the perfect central location to stay as we ventured out to the wineries in the Willamette Valley! There is a clear sense of Pride of Ownership. It shows up in attention to detail, quality furnishings and nicely decorated elements throughout the cottage. There is a real focus on guests. From a welcome gift as you enter, high quality snacks, fresh coffee, recommendations on places to eat and wineries to visit. Everything is spic and span clean. The cottage is their pride and joy. Maryfrances and Dustin are entrepreneurs; they have skin in the game, and it shows in every aspect of their lovely cottage. When you have that, everything else falls right into place. The cottage is in an older rural area on a small street. We found that to be a welcome change! A short walk or drive will take you Main Street where the friendly folks of Carlton will greet you to their wineries, restaurants, bakeries and shops! Mike & Jean

The cottage is absolutely lovely! It was perfect for 2 couples, and had everything we needed. We could easily walk everywhere in Carlton. The little back yard with a fire pit was a great place to enjoy the evenings. Maryfrances had everything set up and ready to go for us. We look forward to a return visit!

Wonderful few days in wine country - great home and a great host

This is a great location for exploring wine growing areas of the Willamette Valley. The space is a perfect set up with two bedrooms with en suite bathrooms. Amazing collection of games and DVDs but we never stayed home long enough. Kitchen seemed well supplied and host provide excellent welcoming snacks. Very comfortable home. We didn’t want for anything. In Carlton be sure to go to the Carlton Wineworks after breakfast at the Carlton Coffee Shop. Great homemade scones and inventive breakfasts. Avoid the overpriced Carlton Bakery. How can you burn a breakfast croissant sandwich? Dinner must is Bistro Maison in McMinville. Best wine tasting experience: Domaine Drouhin.

The cottage was a perfect base for our small group. It was clean, well appointed and welcoming. We would stay there again and not hesitate to recommend if to friends.

This was the perfect location for our wine and golf get-away. We enjoyed come back to the house each day, sitting in the wine barrel chairs on the back patio, and recapping the day's adventures. Having two master suites worked perfect for two adult couples. The kitchen is set up for ease of use and the livingroom is very comfortable. We would totally reserve this location again!

Driving from Portland to Carlton, we were a little uneasy driving through all the small towns that had few services. When we reached the cottage, we were not only relieved but very excited about the space, facilities and location in a charming town with a fabulous bakery and wonderful eateries. We were there to taste and discover wine offerings in the region, and we were well served. Although everything comes alive as of Thursday, we were spoilt with the convivial surroundings of Carlton and everything it had to offer. The cottage has everything you would need : BBQ, outdoor fireplace, well equipped kitchen, two large ensuite bedrooms. The only thing that would have made it perfect for me would have been laundry facilities. Maryfrances was very responsive and I had the chance to run into her husband Dustin in their downtown eatery and gourmet shop. Don't know what I could add but I highly recommend and would definitely stay there again should I be in the area!

Easy walk to town, which is quaint. The house was in a nice quiet area, and the location made it easy for us to go to numerous wine tastings. My sister would like to say it needed a bit more space in the closet. I would like to recommend Carlton Corners for breakfast. We liked it and ate there three times. Communication was great with Mary Francis and greatly appreciated

The cottage was clean and spacious for 4 adults. Quiet neighborhood. Host was gracious and helpful. I would recommend this to anyone.

Really enjoyed staying here. Great base camp for wine country. Carlton has enough to do for during down times. Maryfrances provided great recommendations throughout. Would love to stay again.

Exactly what we are looking for.

This is the perfect little cottage for a wine country weekend getaway! The kitchen is well equipped if you like to cook (we did) and Carlton has a great selection of wineries and restaurants if you want an evening out (we did that too!). The patio is perfect for hanging out after dinner or for your morning coffee. Cottage is clean and everything feels very well maintained. We would definitely stay again and bring friends with us next time. Plenty of room for 2 couples.

I came in for a work trip and though I didn’t get to spend a lot of time in the house, it was the perfect place to unwind after a long day of work. The backyard fire pit was the best!! I highly recommend this wonderful home!

This is a beautiful house. Every is clean and very comfortable. We appreciated the snacks that were left for us. Only a 10 minute walk into town and enjoyed eating at the owners restaurant (Park & Main - great pizza!). Will definitely plan on staying again.

The cottage is a very clean, spacious, well decorated and comfortable place to stay. The well-stocked kitchen and snacks were appreciated! It is located in a quiet neighborhood with a lovely, private backyard to enjoy. Would stay again when in the area!

This house is perfectly located for wine country adventures and it is very immaculate and comfortable with a stylish decor. A private backyard provides a welcoming setting for outdoor dining and relaxing. The hostess thoughtfully left some delicious snacks and tasting cards to local wineries. Communication was excellent from booking to departure. We will definitely stay here again.

Our family had a lovely time at Maryfrances's home in Carlton. The space was clean and comfy and had everything we needed to cook and relax. The fenced back yard and quiet street were great for our 5 & 7 year old kids to play in. We will definitely be returning for another visit!

This rental was the most perfect place to stay to visit Oregon wine country. The cottage is perfect for two couples and is one of our favorite rentals we've stayed in. It is well appointed, spotless, the beds incredibly comfortable, and within walking distance to great food and a few wineries. We can't say enough good things about this place and we can't wait to return for another visit sometime soon!
