We had great time on the lake (3 families). Great property, outstanding lake views, and communication is superb.
Any issues was resolved in no time.
Thank you Raul for all your help and for allowing to stay in your great house.
Internet/WiFi is super slow and unusable for media and video calls, but you can survive on 5G/LTE with 3-4 bars (T-Mobile).

As always, we enjoyed our stay, been staying there for 6 years now. The views and the sunsets are well worth it. It is close enough to town but yet far enough out that you don't notice it. We had no issues this time. In times past if there were any problems they were addressed and fixed quickly. The owner has always been quick to respond to any questions asked.

This is the 5th year we have booked this house for our family summer vacation. The location is great, nit far from town. If you wanted to ride the tail of the dragon you are not far from that either. The view of the lake and surrounding mountains is perfect. The owners are great and easy to work with. We have experienced minor issues during our stays, nothing that caused us any distress. Send the owners a message and get either a call back or email reply or both very shortly. They are quick to get anything fixed that needs fixing.
I would definitely recommend staying here.

Absolutely beautiful home on fabulous Lake Santeetlah. We had a wonderful time just hanging out and using our kayaks. Definitely will want to return next summer!

The views are unreal and the water was perfect. This lake is a 10/10. The side of the lake that you look at is a national forest I believe so it is untouched wilderness. The house was perfect for us. Me, my husband and 4 kids used the basement. There were 2 bedrooms with very comfortable bunk beds, a large living space with deck access and a bathroom. One set of grandparents used the main floor master and the other used the top floor master. Each master had its own sitting room. Then the main floor had a huge living space with sliders leading off to top deck. Kitchen was large and the house has 2 eating areas. The deck by the water is huge and there is a refrigerator down there. Floating dock had tons of space to tie up all of your lake stuff and the water is deep for swimming, diving and all the fun stuff. We had a great time! Hope to rent this house again in the future!!

This house is located on the lake with some of the best views during a quiet week of fall color. We enjoyed every minute of our stay in this beautiful and well-equipped home! It is clean, had so many rooms that there was always a place to get away from others if you wanted. We cooked every night (thank you for the extra fridge in the garage), rented a pontoon, played ping pong and other games. Owner was very responsive to the one issue we had. GREAT STAY!

As always the owner is easy to deal with and takes care of any problems if they arise. We had a few issues this year nothing major but they were taken care of quickly. Definitely a great place to stay.

Lake of dreams, Lake Santeetlah is my happy place, we have rented many houses over the years on the lake, the best view of the lake ! you don’t see your neighbors and they don’t see you, The house is very charming, accommodating, perfect choice, 100% a five star rental, so much fun for nine days. Thank you, we want to book it next year also, Others have commented on new comfortable outdoor seating, they are correct, and they deep cleaning also they were correct. But that did not stop us and will not stop us from returning to this wonderful home.

Won’t be back!
House needs work has an ant problem. Septic not working right couldn’t sit out on deck to enjoy the view, sewerage smell early morning and evening was gross. Driveway was a challenge to get in and out and gate wouldn’t open when we left so had to go out wrong way. Was a nightmare!

Wonderful!!!!
The location of the house was fantastic. The views and the windows were amazing. I've never seen a lake so beautiful. There was lots of things to do. We rented a boat for the lake, went hiking, white water rafting and on scenic drives. It was wonderful to have a pet friendly home so we could bring our whole family including the furry friends. I would definitely come back. I wish I could live in Santeetlah.....that's how much I loved it. The gardens around the house were also wonderful. Jealous of the hydrangeas. Never seen ones so big with such great flowers. The sunsets were fantastic. Thanks for letting us rent.

Great house
This house would’ve been perfect but there’s a couple things that need to be fixed. 1. I don’t know anyone who has rug in their bathrooms, I’m not talking about a drop rug, I’m talking about the entire bathroom being rug. 2. Buy some nice outdoor furniture it would’ve made the outdoor experience so much better. The view was excellent and the amount of room for the 10 of us was exceptional

Perfect Trip
Wow!! The house, neighbors, activities, and of course, beautiful Lake Santeelah were absolutely perfect! We have pictures from this trip off the deck of lightning , the gorgeous view, and even a shooting star. Perfect relaxing vacation. Love this vacation home!

Our first stay at this property was in 2011 and we just booked our ninth stay. Thank you, Raul, for sharing! This house has become a character in our family vacation stories. We love Santeetlah specifically because it is remote and inconvenient and Robbinsville is missing all the things that you'll get at Lake Toxaway or Highlands or Boone. Here you'll just get national forests, a quiet lake, and some of the best views anywhere. We love it and we'll be back for as long as Raul will have us.

Gorgeous lake house!
Our family spent Christmas together at this fabulous lake lodge, everything about it is marvelous especially the million dollar view of Lake Santeetlah!!!! Loved every minute.

Late August get-away
The view is absolutely beautiful. We spent most of our time on the deck. The house is spacious and comfortable. We didn't really need that much space for the 6 of us, but we have pets so it worked out perfectly and ultimately we enjoyed having the extra space. Would have been better if there was one more queen size bed. Fortunately, there is a full size lower bunk bed in each of the bunk rooms. Loved playing ping-pong in the garage and grilling out on the deck. The dock was a little awkward to walk on due to its movement and the give of the plastic material that its made of. However, it worked out well for the kayaks we brought and the pontoon we rented.

Great place to stay
This was the third year we have stayed here for our summer vacation. The home is located at a great place on the lake with spectacular views. You couldn't ask for a better place to stay or better people to rent from.

Beautiful property with gorgeous views
This property was everything we hoped it would be. It was spacious and clean. The flowers were amazing. There was even a little playhouse with a lake view! The lake is beautiful and very swimmable. The nice dock right at the property was a huge plus. We didn’t have much luck fishing, however. The driveway is a doozy, as are most of them in that neighborhood. It gets easier after the first couple of times. The trash isn’t picked up, and you have to haul your trash a couple miles away to a dumpster, which wasn’t completely convenient, but it was doable. Wonderful place overall. I would definitely recommend.

Very large house with a great view and location. Good communication and easy check in process. Would be a good multi-family house, as well. The house has a dock which we used to keep a rental boat for the week. Overall a very good vacation rental experience.

Gorgeous Santeetlah Lake Views
The views from this spacious home are spectacular, and we loved the many decks and indoor rooms to enjoy them!! This kitchen and home included everything we needed for our half week stay. The host was responsive and the property is exactly as it looks online. Can’t beat the view - we’d highly recommend!!

The cabin is spectacular , such a good taste on everything, beautiful view, extremely peaceful. Decoration is awesome, the floor plan is incredible. The property manager responded very quickly and politely.Cabin has everything you need .We would love to see a Christmas in the beautiful place.Only few things could be better:The trash is not picked, we have to drive like 10 minutes to drop it at the dumpster and the car get that trash smell.Cabin has 2 , but we weren't able to watch anything, cable doesn't work, and the upstairs bathroom and around kitchen sink could be a little more clean.Besides that this place is just perfect .Thank you so much for sharing your amazing place with us.

Winter family vacation
The views are stunning! You’re right on the lake with Mountain View! The house is spacious and there is enough room for the whole family! Lots of living spaces and places for the family to spread out.
The only downside to our stay, the heat did not work. The property manager sent someone out to try to repair. He wasn’t able to fix the heat. We did what we could to stay warm, bundling up using the fireplace and space heaters. It added to the rustic theme :)

Fantastic place
We took a family trip down to Lake Santeetlah with my wife, 3 kids, my parents, my sisters and their 4 kids(all under 5 yrs) There was plenty of space for us all. The view of the lake and mountains was perfect and there was plenty to do in the area. We went white water rafting and then for a hike to a waterfall that was just a 10 minute drive down the road. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful and GORGEOUS views!!
This is a wonderful property and provides GORGEOUS long views of the Smoky Mountains. The property is perfect for large families and has several indoor living areas to "fan out". Additionally-there are several large outdoor areas (upper deck, lower deck, dock/ patio areas, etc). The landscaping is so pretty and there were tons of flowers in bloom when we were there in August. We will be back next summer! Thank you!

Great Place To Stay
The home is well kept and the owners are easy to communicate with. The view from the loft and porches is like no other. You are close to the marina to fill up your boat with gas, which we had to do several times. The lake has very little boat traffic even on the weekends. Although this year there was more than the previous years but still not bad. I would recomend this home to any and everyone.
