My family and I had a wonderful stay at this magical cabin over the Easter weekend! We arrived to a surprise of heavy snowfall, which made it even more beautiful. I can’t even describe the landscape of this little hidden gem. The beautiful creek with waterfalls running right behind the house. We spent hours playing in the snow, gazing at the creek, having cozy fires and enjoying the hot tub. The house was clean and comfortable, the location was close to town, but secluded away in a quiet neighborhood. The perfect place to relax, getaway, and get your nature fix. We will definitely be coming back.

Dead rat under pillow in bed upon bedtime. Hot tub had a very bad scent, and wasn’t clean. It needed a full cleaning of filter and chemicals (we own a hot tub at home). Contacted owner regarding this and response wasn’t accommodating.

The house is located in a beautiful area and has been remodeled. It is next to the river which makes the view from the deck very nice. The deck however was not clean and had spider webs all over. The BBQ grill was dirty. The jacuzzi cover was dusty and had not been cleaned in a long time. Jacuzzi was lick warm and did not work well at all.
Inside, was old but nice. However the living room has low ceiling and not good lighting at all. The bedrooms were nice but mattresses were not comfortable.
There were wet towels and sheets in the dryer. I don’t think the house is worth the nightly cost.

Only complaint was excess dust all over the place.
Water was HOT and plentiful.

This home and the property was an absolute dream! The grounds were so peaceful and beautifully landscaped, I could have sat on the front porch all day! It was just the peaceful, relaxing getaway that my family needed! The home was also very clean and exceeded my expectations. We will absolutely be back!

Cozy cabin in the forest
We very much enjoyed our stay. The cabin is set in a mixed conifer & deciduous forest just a short drive from the Idyllwild town square., and is well-appointed with a fine kitchen and comfortable beds. We enjoyed sitting on the the front porch and communing with nature. Highly recommended.

Almost Heaven
If there was water running in the creek, the place would have been heaven. Unfortunately due to drought of 2022, there was no water.
Despite that, the place has beautiful landscape on front & treed on wrap around back deck (owner had irrigation pipes placed). We spend most time in outside large patio, which has dining table & chairs. Inside is not very large, but it is comfy with open connection between areas. Decoration has nice character. Mark was very quick to help us when we locked out ourself. Also, we left a large item there, he was nice enough to put it away for us.

Cozt cabin!
We had such a nice time here. Fully stocked complete home with everything you need. Hot tub was wonderful but would have liked it to be just a bit hotter. Still, we were in it!! Would stay again!

beautiful house, lack of instruction
The house is lovely and comfortable. But they never informed me that we needed to provide our own logs. Since it's a real drive back to town, it's a disappointment not to be able to arrive prepared. Second, there are no instructions or visitor guide, so I never could figure out how to use the hot tub jets. Finally, the property manager never responded to my phone call. So easy, but so sloppy.

Perfecto!
Property is as advertised. Perfect getaway for the family. If anyone is interested the fridge does have an ice maker and the coffee machine options are both drip and Keurig. Peaceful setting so close to gorgeous hikes and wildlife. The hot tub was big and a nice relief for the sore hiking muscles. We will be back!

Amazing cabin
This has to be the best cabin I’ve ever stayed in. It’s spacious indoors and outdoors. The pantry was stocked with basic seasonings, pots and pans, dishes, and silverware. The jacuzzi was great, and loved the grill in the patio. Would definitely book again.

Just what we needed!
My husband and I wanted a quiet and peaceful getaway and this “magical cabin” was just perfect! We really enjoyed ourselves and fully relaxed during our week stay. ** Privately to the cabin owners - while the inside of the cabin was very clean - we would have liked the outside spider and cobwebs to have been swept away. We know they can return quickly but we felt it had been quite awhile since the critters and their webs had been chased away. Including the window webs.

Your lovely cabin, nestled in Fern Valley, above and secluded in the forest of San Bernardino National Forest with easy hikes below Devils Slide and numerous other trails/climbs. Your cabin provided a safe, serene and welcoming place to lay my head and find beauty again. Hands down my favourite cabin, ever rented in and above Idywilld, CA.

This place was absolutely perfect. The neighborhood was quiet. The front yard and back deck was beautiful for coffee in the mornings. The town was only 5 minutes down the road and easy to get to. Everything was amazing for our fathers day weekend get away.

Overall, outstanding stay. The cabin's condition is exactly as pictured and it's very cozy and whimsical. The location is private and within a short drive to the village. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Cozy cabin
We have a really great long weekend- the snow was glorious! Our desert kids were in heaven and outside playing most of the things. The cabin was fine- little “tired/dated” but was fine. TV was very difficult to figure out but again totally fine. This cabin was more about the location and the snow which is what we were looking for our weekend.

The cabin is absolutely gorgeous! The pictures do not do it justice. The location is excellent and within walking distance to Humber Park which offered a couple of great trails. Mark was also very responsive when I had a last minute question. I highly recommend staying at this property.

This was a perfect place to celebrate my mom's 91st birthday. A precious cottage in the woods is exactly what she ordered. We enjoyed the outside deck and nearby hiking trails.

The Sweetest!!
This little cabin is so cute. My husband and I went for our anniversary. Everything was spotlessly clean and all the necessities we needed were provided. There is the most charming creek outside the patio. The hot tub was not working, but I enjoyed a nice bath in the. big bathtub. I usually want to explore new places when I have the chance to, but this little cabin was so nice that I would really go there again.
