Excellent rental, all our needs were anticipated. The furnishings were attractive, clean and comfortable. Kitchen was well appointed, nice appliances, stocked with the basics. Bright open floor plan. Did not feel like we were staying in someone else's home. Don't like that.
There is a bodega down the street a few blocks. Very central location. Lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. While there seem to be a lot of homeless in downtown Asheville, we felt safe. The neighborhood gets noisy on weekends, but the windows are double-paned.
Overall, we highly recommend. If we return to Asheville we would stay here again.

This was our third stay at the Sinclair and we will definitely be back. We are huge fans!. Directions to the Sinclair are easy. Centrally located in Downtown Asheville. Love the amenities, the design and the space of our unit. We really adore everything about the Sinclair. Everything is comfortable, absolutely clean. Nothing seems worn out or dingy. Everything seems new and bright, like it's all been freshly made for us. The Sinclair is not only our favorite place to stay in AVL, it's the only place we'll stay.

This property is in a perfect location. It's located not far from one end of all the major shopping and restaurants famous in Asheville, near the A/C and Kimpton hotels. It comes with a covered secured parking (although bring a small call as the space is tight). The building and the condo are bright, open, and airy. The condo is chock full of high tech wizardry, so if you do not like bluetooth, cooling lighting or automatic blinds, find some place else to stay. Although you will find a binder with explicit instructions for all the gadgets/appliances, etc. in the condo. The host was reachable and communicative at all stages of planning and during the stay. We appreciated the French Press coffee maker and the creamer supplied by the host.
We will definitely be back and hope to stay longer next time to enjoy all the comforts of the location and the condo!

We absolutely loved our stay. Location was perfect you’re literally in the heart of the happening area. Stay was wonderful, host thought of everything. We plan to stay again on our next visit to Asheville.

We love Asheville so much, and this property was great! Parking is definitely a tight squeeze if all cars are there, so definitely heed the “compact cars only” in the description. But it was SO nice to be in a garage, and the location was wonderful! Not to mention the great accommodations of the loft and the speedy communication from the host. Definitely recommend!

This may be the best overall VRBO I’ve ever stayed in. Location - A+. Cleanliness - A+. Communication/Helpfulness of Owner - A+ (he even offered to pull our car out of the tight garage). All the ‘extras’ I hope for and appreciate in a rental home were provided, and the space was lovely. So thoroughly impressed. I will definitely book this one again!

Peter and Constance's place was a dream--loved the high ceiling, living/kitchen space, and location just to name a few highlights. You can see and feel all the thoughtful touches thorough out the space. Would love to stay again when we come back to Asheville. Thank you!

This met (or exceeded!) all our expectations - clean, modern, comfortable - esp. the mattress, and the location put most of downtown Asheville within walking distance. Having the parking space was definitely a plus; we have a RAV4, and it fit. Peter, the owner, was fabulous at communicating, a trait that I look for in the properties we rent. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

This spacious modern loft-style property is spotless. The bed is comfortable and we enjoyed the short walk to delicious restaurants and shopping in the downtown area. The communication was clear. If you’re looking for a great spot to stay during a trip to Asheville, you cannot beat this one. We can’t wait to come back and stay again. Wonderful experience.

Fantastic! One of the best VRBO properties we have stayed in over the years. Exceptionally clean, large open loft like space with great sound proofing. Excellent location in downtown Asheville within walking distance of multiple bars, restaurants, boutique shops, art galleries and downtown art museum as well as Woolworth soda fountain/gallery. Yet, only a few miles from the must see Biltmore estate and close drive to Blue Ridge Parkway and other hiking opportunities. Fully equipped and modern kitchen with surprisingly high end flatware, dishes, and glassware for a rental. Laundry in the apartment with soap nicely supplied by the property owners. Stylishly furnished. Really it has everything you need, including spices, some condiments, full sized fridge and freezer, coffee maker & French press, stove, microwave and dishwasher. King sized very comfortable bed with super soft sheets and duvet. 1 full and additional 1/2 bathroom was a nice addition. Tons of room. Importantly, secure garage parking- a little tricky getting in and out but if you go slow it was definitely doable even for an Acura MDX SUV. Lots of steps in and out of unit and deep step in bathtub shower would make it difficult for someone with mobility issues but otherwise absolutely no downsides. The best part is fantastic communication with Peter the property owner. Really helpful and available if needed. Overall, I’d stay here again if ever in the area and highly recommend it. There is a pull out bed in the large living area but this unit is best for a couple or small family.

My wife and I stayed for a few days after Christmas and it was absolutely perfect. The location is super convenient to grocery stores, coffee shops (one directly across the street), restaurants, shops, and the art museum (just a few blocks away). The apartment is clean and beautiful and gave us a real city feel. It reminded us of our days sans children living in Brooklyn. I also appreciated the attention to detail, like the little notes left throughout the apartment.
I would definitely do another stay here and highly recommend the place to others!

The Sinclair was the perfect home base for remote work and visiting friends for a week in Asheville! The property was beautiful and exactly as pictured. Peter’s detailed, step by step instructions for accessing the condo were on point and left no confusion. I would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Asheville!

The Sinclair (apt 202) with its 1 br/1.5ba contemporary layout is perfect for one couple but, because of an added sofa bed in the living area and an additional ½ ba . . . is additionally suitable for a small family or even two couples!

Very Pleased
A buddy and I were looking for a weekend to get away from the families and hang out. The place is super clean, modern, and right downtown. It’s a very doable walk to get everywhere, whether it’s the pinball museum, or even breweries like green man and burial.

Great Christmas in Asheville
We have visited Asheville many times. This property is the best lodging that we have experienced in the city. The apartment was absolutely immaculate and very comfortable. The location perfect. We especially appreciated the convenience of 1.5 bathrooms and off street parking. Our host, Peter was always available to answer questions. We have recommended the Sinclair to our friends and we would stay again.

5 Star Experience
I’ll start off by saying this is absolutely one of the nicest properties we have ever stayed in - and we have rented a lot of condos and houses over the years. The location is fantastic…highly walkable to so many things to do in Asheville. It also comes with free parking…in a garage! That is a huge bonus when staying in a downtown area. The condo was super clean and really really well-appointed, very design-forward. And the little things are not overlooked, like having a full-length mirror in the bedrooom. The bed was one of the most comfortable we’ve ever slept in - rivaled the nice Sleep Number we have at home. It is also very quiet - no noise issues whatsoever from the outside or elsewhere in the building. We did not cook any full meals but the kitchen has everything you might need to do that, along with fabulous appliances. Seriously, nothing was overlooked in order to make a guest stay top notch. Asheville is a great town, and we can’t wait to come back…partly so we can stay here again.

Amazing property and location!
My husband and I celebrated our anniversary with an extended weekend getaway in AVL and are so glad we chose to stay at Peter’s place! The location was ideal and the rental itself was just as advertised; immaculate and with every feature we could want. The bed was so comfortable and the Bose sound system throughout provided great ambiance. Peter was very accessible and even recommended a wonderful breakfast spot. We hope to stay again!

The condo is exactly as pictured. Very comfortable, tastefully decorated, quite but in the heart of Asheville within walking distance to all the shops, restaurants and bars. Plus is having in indoor parking space.

Fantastic location in the heart of downtown- walking distance to so many shops, restaurants, and breweries. High end appliances, Bose blue tooth speakers in the living room and bedroom, 4K smart TV with instructions on how to use everything for those who are not so tech savvy (me). The futon in the living room and the master bed were both very comfortable. More than enough pillows and towels. The place was very clean. Having a garage was nice- it is a tight space but workable. Host was friendly and available. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone.
