The location was excellent, very good pub nearby and a Londis shop. Good fish and chip shop close by also. Centre of Weymouth short walk away, although we used taxis mainly due to mobility issues. There was a small courtyard which allowed us to sit out and have drinks in the evening. We were able to park outside the cottage using a parking permit, which was very useful as parking is at a premium in the locality. The property had two bedrooms at two different levels, each with its own bathroom and shower, which was a real bonus.

The stairs to the first and second floor were quite steep, which might be a problem with someone with mobility issues, although we managed ok with care. Otherwise no complaints at all.

A well-appointed, well-maintained and very clean cottage in an excellent location. The on-street parking permit was an unexpected surprise. Weymouth has an excellent selection of good places to eat and plenty of great pubs, too.

There was nothing to dislike about the cottage or its setting.

We had a great stay stay at Anchor Cottage. It was extremely well equipped. In a perfect location for us. I would definitely recommend this to friends and family. The cottage has everything you need, down to the tea and coffee available on arrival

Beautiful home, fantastic location couldn’t fault anything!

Some sort of chair would’ve been good in the double bedroom as the bed was very high. Cottage no. 19 was being refurbished during our stay and most mornings they started work between 8am and 8.30am which we thought was a little early.
