While looking for hotel rooms, a VRBO sidebar popped up showing a cute little beach cottage in Lido Key. On a whim, I clicked on it, and it was just right! An efficiency cottage that was just perfect for the two of us and in a perfect location a short walk from St. Armands Circle! Beautiful beach, great location, good restaurants and a comfy bed. It all added up to a great week away from snow! We're looking forward to visiting again!

Owner/Property manager very responsive. Place was perfect for what we wanted. Short walk to the beach. Sarasota is a beautiful city.

The house was clean and there were scooters nearby which was super convenient, it should definitely be listed as a perk to the property. The walk to st Armand’s isn’t long but when it’s hot it’s not so great and the accessibility to the trolley and scooters was perfect! Property was right across the street from the beach and that’s exactly what we wanted! The neighborhood was quiet and we were able to get DoorDash late which was another perk because st Armand’s closes at about 10 pm. Communication with owner was great and they were very pleasant and helpful! Overall we loved every minute! Will come again for sure!

The place is close to the beach like 1/4 block away, Debbie who's in charge in making sure all is cleaned and any needs in the room that you might need was awesome always communicating to make sure we were happy and the owner Leonora aways there for the tenant also.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The property manager was very easy to reach if we needed anything. Cute place near the water, restaurants and shopping! We highly recommend this place! You won’t be disappointed.

We had a great 4 night stay! The rental had everything we needed, including beach towels and chairs. The beach is a very short walk and directly across the street from the access. We come to Lido nearly every summer and will definitely consider staying here again!

Really liked this place!!! It was perfect for what my husband and I wanted for our anniversary extended weekend. It was a great location. A short walk to the beach and a very short drive to Saint Armand’s circle. Made for a very nice relaxing weekend. It was great to have chairs and an umbrella for us too! Made for a great stay. Would stay here again for sure. Here are a few suggestions to make the place even better: a cooler to take to the beach and a place to put our things like drawers or a luggage rack so our suit case didn’t have to go on the floor.

This property is perfect for two. Only drawback is that there isn't really a good place for clothes/suitcases but if you're a light packer, it's no problem. Perfect location...a block from the most beautiful beach and walking distance to St. Armands for shopping and restaurants. Neighborhood is nice and clean. We felt perfectly safe walking home after dark. Loved Lido Beach! We'll be back!

Location!

My GF and I had a great time staying here. Located on a very quiet street, it’s a 2-minute walk to Lido Beach, and a 12 minute walk to St Armand’s Circle with all of their top notch restaurants and bars. Beach chairs and umbrella are included, we really enjoyed packing some snacks and sitting on the beautiful beach each day. The kitchen, while fully stocked, is appropriate for making breakfast and lunch; dinner is best enjoyed eating out. I’ve seen some reviews questioning the size of the bed… It’s definitely a queen size bed, but the mattress is probably a little old and tends to sag in the middle, so at night time we tended to roll toward each other a little bit. I also saw some reviews stating hairdryers and lights weren’t working…I can attest everything works, and the place is VERY well lit at night. On top of everything else, there’s even a common area in the back with washer/dryer, a grill, outdoor showers, etc. All in all a very cool place, we loved it, our only suggestions would be to upgrade the mattress, and add some seasonings and other basic staples to the kitchen such as salt, pepper, and sugar… That would make a nice welcome to incoming guess. Please book this place with confidence!

problem plagued. Owner needs to replace sofa because of old cushions that don't support guest's body, Hair dryer does not work at all. Ice maker only works occasionally, Apparently, owner does not regularly check apartments to see that everything works as advertised. Door locks didn't work my last night. Called owner. No response. Could only lock door from the inside and had to leave it unlocked too go get dinner. TV was another challenge with no instructions how to transfer from streaming channels to regular TV, Just horrible. Took two different people to finally figure out how to transfer back to TV. They were very nice, but, it all should never have happened in the first place. Requested replacement of my porch light, but, it,was never done.. Big danger of tripping on the steps in the dark. All in all, they just need more attentive, management that's available upon request and will respond to requests, which these people did not do. I paid lot of money to stay there, have managed properly myself, and would never allow my guest's concerns to be totally ignored, for my own reputation and for their personal safety.

We enjoyed this stay very much! We loved the location, so close to the beach and all the restaurants. Perfect for two, quiet and peaceful. Enjoyed this trip very much!

Great house. Everything is advertised correctly. Loved Lido Key and the circle being so close. The one thing I would change is to possibly add a tv to the bedroom but that is a personal preference.

This property is perfect for a couple. The location is so close to the beautiful beach and ocean. The bed was a little small but my husband and I are used to a king bed. I highly recommend this property!

Great location. We enjoyed our visit!

It was a great little place for just my girlfriend and I. We loved it. We missed the part where it didn’t have an oven, LOL, but that was the least of our worries while staying. The walk to the beach was so easy, and walking to St. Armand’s in the morning for coffee and donuts was so peaceful. I highly recommend this place. They charge a fair price, and it was SO clean when we got there.

Close to Lido Beach access and Saint Armens Circle. Couch was uncomfortable, no tv in bedroom, no full length mirror would be nice and no extra paper products.

The unit was so cute and in a great location for access to shopping and the beach! There were chairs and umbrella for the beach and a lovely deck to sit on for drinks in the evening. Definitely a place for someone just coming to relax. Would absolutely come visit again!

We loved the location and the beach access. The host offers great chairs and a beach umbrella. It wasn't very clean unfortunately. It was "tidy" but not clean. Dusty and also had an odor, maybe the mini-split units (AC) draining under the property since it's pier and beam? Not sure, but a definite odor. Also, host only gave us one trash liner, 1 roll of TP, no paper towels, etc. Little things that someone traveling from Texas shouldn't be expected to go out and get. We also didn't like the bed too much. It rolled easily and seemed very cheap. St. Armand's Circle was great and we do recommend this spot for the location and beach access.
