Absolutely beautiful. The back porch looking over the creek is the perfect place to have coffee, read, or relax. The house was exactly what my grandchildren and I needed. Perfect location. I highly recommend this cabin.

Stayed 4 nights in this little cabin in chipta park which backs to Fountain Creek creating a tranquil, beautiful retreat in the cool mountains. Easy to find and easy check-in and check-out. Clean, safe neighborhood, and cozy. Convenient to Woodland Park, Manitou Springs, and Colorado Springs. Quiet, clean, peaceful retreat but on 'the cozy side'. Living area seats 4 with two recliners and a loveseat. Dining table for 4 plus barstools. Queen bed down and one queen in the loft--both on the firm side. Nicely remodeled with wall unit heater that we put to good use in May. Also, lots of blankets which we used. Plenty of dishes and cookware. No A/C but didnt need it. If you have little kids, know that the stairs to the loft bedroom are steep and for adults, the loft ceilings are low. We stayed in the property next door (same host and owner) several years ago. Both properties are nice and the host was great with communication. Lovely time! Be sure to visit The Pantry in GMF for breakfast and The Donut Mill in woodland park.

We loved this place so much. I always say the test of a good vacation is if you don't want to go home. We wanted to stay forever. The cabin is very comfortable with everything you need. If you are planning on cooking you will not need to bring anything but food. There was every dish/pot/pan cooking utensil you could need and also a crockpot and electric skillet. I'd never been in a vacation rental that was so well stocked kitchen wise. The back porch, creek and views are amazing. In the morning, the sun shines on the mountain ridge and it's so lovely. The creek is literally steps from the back porch and is so pristine you'd think it was built by a landscaper. It was less than 30 minutes from most of the major attractions in Colorado Springs(Garden of the Gods, Pike's Peak, Seven Falls and the Manitou Cliff Dwellings), but don't miss running into Green Mountain Falls which is just down the road a bit. Very charming little mountain town with a fishing pond and gazebo. We spent one day just wandering around there and hiking one of the trails nearby. It was so nice at the end of the day to come "home" to our little cabin, just relax on the porch and watch the views and wildlife. We will be back the next time we come to Colorado Springs. Shannon

Cute, clean little cabin off the main highway so heard very little road noise. Beautiful creek running through the back yard that provided relaxing background sounds all day and night. Kitchen is very well stocked, beds seemed firm but were really comfortable, back porch had wonderful rocking chairs/loveseat log furniture plus blankets and throw pillows for lounging. So cozy with great attention to small details. Highly recommend this cabin due to the location, modern updates, price, rural setting with a beautiful stream in the yard. We truly enjoyed our stay!!

My boys and I really enjoyed a beautiful quick getaway before school started back up. Wished the trip could have lasted much longer. The cabin was cozy, relaxing and beautiful. Hearing the creek just out the back door was so peaceful. If we are ever in the area again would love to stay again! The owners were very quick to respond as well! Sure takes the stress away from the what if’s!

Close proximity to attractions, clean, all the essentials in the cabin for a comfortable stay. The river is a great relaxing place after a long day.

The cabin was very comfortable and cute and in a relaxing setting. The running mountain creek out the back door was beautiful. The cabin was very well stocked with everything we needed for kitchen and bathroom use. The beds were super comfortable too!

Location was great. I got a little nervous when the creek level rose really fast and left a message for Wayne and he returned my call within 30 min. My kids loved the creek and were in it every chance they had! Only suggestion would be for longer couch instead of love seat, but we had a Great stay! Thanks!

Was great and set up very nicely!

It was a beautiful location with a great view. We enjoyed how close it was to everything we wanted to do. The only things that could have made it better were: a fire pit and a gas grill.

What a beautiful property inside and out enjoyed quite a few hours sitting by the Creek running through the backyard.... The place was just like it looked on the pictures amazing definitely will go back

Really enjoyed our stay. Great location between Woodland Park and Colorado Springs. Very clean. It rained a bit so the covered patio was nice. The kitchen was one of the better stocked kitchens we’ve seen. The downstairs bed could’ve been a little more comfortable. Otherwise, a very nice stay.

The instructions need updated on how to get the keys. My instructions were old and unable to get in. Thank goodness for the neighbor who knew the push button combo

The property was very clean, had a nice stream close to back porch. Location was good, close to many activities.

We really enjoyed the beautiful cabin. The only thing i can suggest is a portable air conditioner for the cabin. It was pretty hot during the day when we were there. We had the dan running and the windows open which made it better but would have been nice to have the a/c light other cabins we stayed at later in the week.

Everything you need is right there at the cabin! A fully stocked kitchen with all you need for preparing meals and even some extras that you may have left behind. The stream behind the house was a huge bonus for the kids. They played for hours every afternoon. Will definitely stay here again!

Wonderful

We had previously rented this property five years ago and new it would fit our needs. Luckily it was available and we heard back right away. Seeing the sites around Colorado Springs was on my mother in laws bucket list.

Wonderful little cabin in the perfect area for what we wanted. Close to Colorado Springs but far enough that you felt secluded while at the cabin. Very clean, updated and with beautiful surroundings. We would definitely love to stay again in the future. Thank you for such a great weekend!!

Very nice and cozy cabin. They have a notebook with helpful information which was very useful. Great area too. Everything we wanted to do was close by. Highly recommend.

This was a nice property for our short stay in the area. It is close to Manitou Springs and many tourist attractions. The creek running through the back yard is very nice. We had trouble checking in as we were given the wrong code. The property manager called me right away when I messaged with the problem even though we arrived quite late. Everything was as advertised and we would stay here again if visiting the area. If you have very small children the stairs to the loft could be an issue. They are metal and very steep. My kids 9 and 13 did fine. I still put some pillows at the bottom of the landing for peace of mind and worried a bit about them coming down the stairs in the middle of the night to use the restroom.

We loved staying at the cabin it was exactly like the description. The kitchen was fully stocked and it was very clean. We only had one little issue and that was checking in. We did not have the correct door code to get in, now this could have been my fault but the only information I had was from the VRBO app. The number on the app was also not up to date but the guy that answered was able to get me in contact with the owners. After getting in contact with Wayne everything else worked out. We will be back again!

The property was just as it was listed and included helpful notebook that let us know anything and everything we needed to know. The owner was very easy to work with as this was the first VRBO that I did and they were incredibly patient with me. I would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a small place to hang out in while exploring the mountains!

Spent a fantastic week in this wonderful cabin. It is everything and more than what we expected from the description. A very friendly, welcoming and relaxing place. Can't say enough nice things about all aspects of the cabin.

This cabin was perfect for our family! It was away from the hustle and bustle of city life and nestled in a quiet area in Cascade. The photos online do not do this location justice. The creek flowing off the back porch and the view of Pikes Peak was rejuvenating. Everything we wanted to do was within 15 minutes or less (such as Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods, Seven Falls, and Manitou Springs). We enjoyed quiet evenings and mornings on the back porch at the cabin, then spent our days experiencing Colorado adventures. The kids enjoyed wading in the creek often (bring your water shoes). The owners obviously love this place, and it shows in the decor and cleanliness. The weather in early August was incredibly comfortable and a great relief from the hot, humid Midwest. We can't wait to go back.
