Cette histoire 3 cabane en rondins de luxe est situé à Somers, Montana donnant sur le lac Flathead vierge. Flathead Lake est le plus grand lac d'eau douce à l'ouest du Mississippi. La grande enveloppe autour de pont offre une vue spectaculaire sur le lac et les bois environnants. La cabine se trouve sur 5 acres de terrain boisé avec une faune abondante. Somers est très bien situé entre Lakeside et la ville de Kalispell. Bigfork est seulement environ 9 miles Orient. Cette cabine ne convient pas aux enfants de moins de 5 ans. L'automne est un moment idéal pour visiter la Flathead que le temps est plus frais et les foules ont disparu! Nous attendons avec impatience votre visite.

Beautiful cabin with a spectacular view. Well stocked with all we needed for a lovely week in the mountains. Only one hour from West Glacier. Definitely plan to return some day.

The house was exactly as presented. I am picky about cleanliness and this place exceeded expectations. The beds were very comfortable. There was more than enough space for 6 grown up sized people. We loved having three levels for everyone to spread out.
When I say it is fully stocked I really mean it has everything you need. We cooked meals every morning night. We even did theme dinners and there was everything we needed to cook, bake and make fun drinks (blenders, fancy glasses, serving bowls/platters, utensils that I don’t even have at home, paper and plastic products, spices, etc).
The views were incredible from the deck and large windows. The location was perfect for our desire to be by the lake and have both lake and Mountain Views. But it’s also only about 25 minutes to Whitefish and less than an hour to the Glacier west entrance.
We had a great vacation and thank you Janice for being a great host!

Janice's cabin was absolutely perfect for our group trip to Glacier National Park! It is about one hour to the park entrance and 20 minutes to Kalispell. The cabin was very clean and check in/check out process was very easy. You have a perfect view of Flathead Lake and can get into town easily. We had 6 adults and it was plenty of space! Property owners were very responsive with any questions we had. I would highly recommend!

This is a great place to stay. Very clean and the view is better than the pictures. The porch was a fantastic place to relax at the end of a day of hiking in Glacier. The owner is very responsive. Definitely recommend.

We went in to Glacier National Park 5 days and spent several days exploring the amazing towns around Flathead Lake. This was a perfect central location for everything! We were literally within 30 minutes of anything and everything we wanted to do. We saw deer, turkey, elk and mountain goats on our drives to and from the cabin. The property has a wonderful view and was very well accommodated! Dealing with Janice was a pleasure! We will definitely stay here in the future!

We visited Montana for our 25th anniversary with our 2 children (18 & 20), and everyone loved this home! Our son kept referring to it as The Lodge…and it truly was magnificent! The view is amazing, but he beds were comfy, and the wifi was great!! We would highly recommend everyone take a trip to Montana and stay here!

This stunning home away from home was better than we could have possibly imagined. Sitting high atop the mountain overlooking Flathead Lake, it was the perfect spot to vacation and take in the most amazing views. The house was immaculate, spacious, comfortable and filled to the brim with amenities that you don’t usually find at most rentals. Down to the tiniest of details. The owner Janice was a pure joy to work with and always available if needed. The wildlife just outside our front door was incredible to see. Wild turkeys, chipmunks and deer greeted us daily. The beds were of luxury comfort and the view from the living room area left no need to watch the tv. I highly recommend anyone looking to visit Somers/Kalispell to give this amazing home a go. We look forward to returning and picking up where we left off. There is so much to see and do! Thank you Janice for the amazing stay!

We enjoyed this vacation. We went into Glacier Park twice, a day of fly fishing, great breweries, the spa and home base a beautiful cabin with amazing view. Cabin interior so comfy. Great beds

We wanted to get-a-way from our normal work location and wanted mountains & lake. We got it here! a fabulous sunrise every morning over the mountains that overlook the lake. From the master suite we could simply lift our heads off our pillows and see the spectacular view. Three of us were working during the day and the wi-fi handled all of it. Town is nearby so grocery shopping for the week was a breeze. All the amenities were here you could need. Oh and I forgot to mention the morning "visits" from the wild turkeys with babies, deer and other small wildlife. Definitely a great place to stay.

Great View. Beautiful house. The house needs some routine maintenance, it is difficult to get to the door if you have bad knees and the road to the cabin is very rough. Saw deer, turkeys, squirrels, bunnies, and chipmunks near the cabin.

The location is excellent, right off Flathead Lake and convenient to Glacier Park and Whitefish. The house is beautiful, the beds were comfortable. My only complaint is there was food left in the refrigerator and pantry from previous renters, which was a little off-putting.

Flathead Lake views!
First, I want to say the owners are fantastic. Janice provides excellent communication! The cabin has everything you need and more! The wide open living space is perfect and the kitchen is fully stocked. The view of flathead lake is amazing. The deck offers peaceful sounds of the birds and wildlife. We saw deer and turkeys from the deck. It is an easy drive over to Glacier National Park, Kalispell, Big Fork, and Whitefish areas. We booked a fishing trip on flathead lake and caught a 29 in lake trout. The grill was perfect for grilling it up that night! The beds were comfortable, and provided a great resting spot after hiking in Glacier National Park. All and all you can’t go wrong with this cabin.

Beautiful Clean Log Home with Breathtaking Lake and Mountain Views
This property was easy to find and access. Well equipped. Clean and very comfortable. Convenient to all services and other Lake communities. We spent hours on the front deck taking in the amazing views. Peaceful. Wildlife all around. Glacier National Park nearby. We will definitely return to this home for another vacation!!

Beautiful Cabin basecamp
The cabin was exactly what we were looking for: rustic cabin-y feel, but with the comforts and luxuries you'd like. And that view!!! Waking up every morning to the sun rising over Flathead Lake was truly remarkable. The location is nicely situated for day trips to Glacier, Whitefish, or venturing south for some hot springs. And Janice was timely with communication when I reached out with a few questions. Five stars, all around!

Beautiful home
We really enjoyed our stay at this rental home. The place was beautiful, clean, quiet, spacious and was well stocked with all of the things needed. We enjoyed relaxing on the deck and taking in the nice lake views and preparing dinners at home. We came to Montana to visit Glacier national park which was about a one hour drive.
Great property, beautiful home, and owners easy to communicate with. Would highly recommend this home.

Fantastic house
We, two couples over 60, stayed for a week at the house with fantastic views. It is furnished with taste and care. Everything is well organized and stocked - kind of a place one would want to live in comfortably and enjoy.
Janice and Diane were great to deal with; prompt communications, quick responses and very accomodating.

August 2021 Stay
A very nice cabin that accommodated the needs of our group of six. Many amenities made it very nice to stay in the cabin. It is a quiet location near the top of a steep hill. It is a seven-minute drive down the hill to the main road. It is also an hour to West Glacier. We spent most of our time in Glacier. The Flathead Valley is nice, but the recent wildfires made it hard to see the lake and the mountains in the distance. If you are looking for a quiet location near Flathead Lake this is a great place to be.

Peace and Quiet
The cabin is very peaceful and secluded. It is a beautiful log cabin with a beautiful view. We combined our relaxation with some day trips to: a music festival, a boat ride and hiking on Wild Horse Island and an amazing visit to Glacier National Park- truly a must see!

Perfect Cabin, Location & View!
Even better in person-5 Stars all around! We stayed for 10 days. Perfectly clean, decorated & well-supplied. And the rental process & access were very easy. The kitchen had everything you could need to prepare meals or just bring in takeout. Beds were comfortable, plenty of pillows, towels & blankets, etc. This location is an easy 40 minute drive to the west entrance of Glacier & also close proximity to the Jewel Basin/Flathead Natl Forrest, Whitefish, Kalispell & right down the road from Flathead Lake. The cabin & the deck were very relaxing to come back to after long days of hiking. Beautiful sunrises & peaceful in the evening. There is still so much for us to see & do in the area, we wouldn’t hesitate to rent this cabin again! Thank you Janice for sharing your home with us!

The description of this house on the VRBO site is spot on. The location, the suggestion regarding ages and the views. What a gem. Beautiful, clean and spacious.
The drive from the main road to the home starts the adventure with all types of wild life then the grandeur of the cabin sparks your desire to see all that it has to offer. With the wonderfully equipped kitchen and the comfy beds this cabin quickly goes from house to home. This was our first VRBO experience and it set the bar high. We look forward to coming back and sharing it with friends.

The cabin and view is beyond beautiful. The cabin is approximately 2.5 miles from the lake on a dirt road. You can’t beat the view from this cabin. Cleanest place we have ever stayed. Has everything you would need. Kitchen was equipped for everything you need for cooking and spices. Drive all around Flathead Lake is amazing. Drive to Glacier is beautiful. Can’t go wrong with this cabin. We loved it.

This is my second time staying at Janice's property. It's fabulous. It's very clean and well stocked with lots of extras and is conveniently located to Lakeside, Kalispell, Bigfork, and Glacier NP. And the view of Flathead Lake from the deck is awesome. I spent every evening on the deck soaking it all in. I highly recommend this property if you're looking for a retreat in the Flathead Lake area. Working with Janice has been super easy both times I've stayed at the property.

Great stay in Somers
This was a great place to stay for our group of 6. We spent most of our time our hiking and touring the region, but the home provided great views and great places to hang out when we were on site. Very comfortable outside or in. We were there for a week, and it was easy to find your own space if you needed to get away for a while.

Gorgeous Views, well maintained log home!
My wife, mother-in-law and I stayed For 10 nights at this semi-secluded, very well-maintained and built log home with amazingly gorgeous views of Flathead Lake!
The beds and pillows were very comfortable allowing us to rest very well! The views from the large deck were so beautiful overseeing Flathead Lake and beyond! Then there were the sounds of nature at its finest!
Glacier National Park was only 1.5 hours away...and the city of Kalispell was less than 15 minutes away. There is also a small grocery store less than 10 minutes located in Lakeside. The house was very well kept/maintained and was well equipped and stocked with anything you might need at home.
And communication and customer relations doesn’t get any better!

Family excursion
Three couples of my family met at this cabin from two different states. We enjoyed the space this cabin offered. Janice was an attentive hostess. We received advice on shopping, help with contacting a post office and general questions. The property was well appointed as described. We visited Glacier National Park, Whitefish and Flathead lakes. Perfectly Secluded
This property is even better in person! If you are looking for quiet and getting away from the hustle and bustle of life, this property is perfect. It was our first trip to Montana and we will definitely be back. The house is very clean and has lots of amenities to make you feel right at home. The views are spectacular! Lots of great towns close by to spend the day shopping, dining, hiking and boating. Glacier National Park is a must. The property is conveniently located to access numerous adventures.
