Récemment rénové, trois chambres, deux salles de bains, chalet Hatteras situé sur le Soundside. Le chalet est situé dans un quartier calme à distance de marche ou de vélo de la plage, des restaurants et de l'épicerie. Toutes les chambres ont de nouveaux lits - 1 lit queen et 2 pleins. Sunroom a un futon confortable. Wi-Fi haut débit. Deux téléviseurs à écran plat (un écran plat HD de 55 pouces), des lecteurs Blu-Ray et DVD. Le lecteur Blu-Ray se connecte à Netflix et à votre compte Amazon. Le chalet n'a pas de télévision commerciale. Grande cuisine moderne avec tous les nouveaux appareils, y compris laveuse et sécheuse. Deux ponts avec chaises et salon Adirondack, et grande douche extérieure sur le pont supérieur. Zone de grillade privée dans la zone fraîche sous la maison avec chaises, gaz infrarouge et grils à charbon. Chariot de plage pour transporter une glacière ou d'autres fournitures à la plage. Aire de jeux pour enfants très agréable à 3 minutes à pied. Les serviettes et les draps sont fournis. Le chalet peut accueillir jusqu'à six personnes. Animaux acceptés. Les fêtes ou événements ne sont pas autorisés. LES LOCATIONS D'ÉTÉ SONT DU SAMEDI AU SAMEDI.

Our family had a wonderful time in this cozy, private Avon retreat! This home is dog friendly. There is a private side deck that is great for relaxing with an awesome outdoor shower that lights up at night with solar lights so you can shower under the stars! Walk to the east and you are at the beach - walk to the west and you can explore the sound and the old tombstones of this former fishing town. Legend has it, Blackbeard once roamed the waters of the Pamlico Sound.

House was very nice, very clean and was great for my family of 6 (5 adults and one teenager). Very convenient location and the owner was great. We were able to watch the 4th of July fireworks from the side deck without having to fight the crowds and really enjoyed our stay. No complaints and we would rent this again.

Even though it was a bit of a walk to the beach, the house is in a very convenient location on the sound side. Within walking distance of great restaurants and markets. At a corner in the neighborhood that provided plenty of yard for the pups and for parking while some trees to provide privacy. Owner is super responsive and caretaker lives next door if there are any issues. Extremely easy for check in and out. Was a great place to stay at for a week.

The house was nicely situated on the East side of highway 12 - far enough away so that we didn't hear traffic noise, but easy in and out. The house was nicely kept, very comfortable for the two of us - would have easily accommodated another - a bit crowded after that. We were thrilled the kitchen was well stocked with staples. A fuse was out when we arrived and living room windows open, which was weird but unalarming. But we had a great trip and enjoyed the house!
I recommend the house to other travelers with no reservations.

This home was a perfect family and pet friendly stay close to the Avon Pier and multiple great dining options. The house is cozy and inviting and hosts a fantasic outdoor grilling and lounging area with hammocks. The neighborhood is quiet and very bike friendly on the roads and the sidewalk/bike paths with a playground nearby. We loved driving on the off road beach during the day and would complete the short bike ride back over for beach strolls in the evening.

Our family of 5 had an amazing week in this beach house! The location was perfect, walking distance to one of the best beaches we visited in the outer banks (Avon beach) and also shopping and restaurants. We also walked to the sound side and bought shrimp and oysters that were caught that day! The house itself was perfect, the pictures don’t do it justice. The kids loved the family room and we spent evenings watching the sunset on the two decks. The kitchen was well stocked and spacious. The outdoor shower was amazing and perfect for keeping sand out of the beach house. Also, the beach cart was super handy and we used it every day! We will definitely have another family vacation here soon.

The house was very clean and the layout of the 3 bedrooms and 2 baths worked well for our group of 6. The living room couch and chairs are very well worn. The kitchen was well supplied with utensils and cookware. My biggest complaint is that the microwave oven did not work. I informed the manager about the microwave, but the week of our stay went by with no replacement or repair.

We had such a great trip to the OBX. We loved the small town feel of Avon, and the house was perfect for our needs. The owner was quick to respond when I contacted him and the stay went without any issues. The outdoor shower was a huge help when coming back to the house so sandy from our days at the beach. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook our food for the week. The kids loved riding their bikes to the playground just up the road and I loved taking my morning runs through the town. I would definitely recommend this property for a relaxing stay in the Outerbanks!

House itself was nice. It was kinda clean except for all the stuff that was in the refrigerator and cabinets left over from im guessing the owners. Furniture is old, falling apart and filthy. Beds were firm. Outside is nice but mosquito haven. Owner or housekeeper stayed downstairs the night before I checked out.

Overall this was a nice place to stay, well-kept with a nice kitchen. We never received check out instructions though (other than a time) even after messaging. Also when we arrived there was a house rules sheet letting us know that the owner may be there at the owner's suite underneath the house (but not connected to the rental space). We didnt care but I dont recall that being in the listing info and someone else may care so I just wanted to mention it. Overall it was a good place though, in a convenient location.

Had a nice stay at Jay’s place over Easter weekend. The house was spotless and clean, which we really appreciated. The weather wasn’t great so we took advantage of games and activities which there were plenty of in the house. The layout was perfect for us as we were traveling with teenagers and dogs, and everyone was able to have their own spaces, the neighborhood was pretty quiet. Location was good a short drive into town or to the beaches, although you could technically walk or bike if you wanted. Only recommendation would be a few small upgrades to the showerheads and maybe furniture however, we are not picky and did just fine. We really utilized the kitchen a lot and did a lot of cooking while we were there overall a great stay at Jay’s house. Thank you!

Jay's house was probably the cleanest vacation rental my husband and I have stayed in. Pictures do not do this house justice. The location was absolutely perfect! Neighborhood was lovely, which made for perfect walks with our dog. We will definitely be booking here again in the future!

The vacation rental was good. I wish there would have been more towels for 3 nights. Checkout time is 9:00 am which was a problem for us, especially when you have a sick kid. Plenty of room in the house. Loved the outdoor seating and hammocks. Not too far of a walk to the pier. But overall we absolutely loved Avon! We will be back!

We really enjoyed our stay at the property. The whole experience was great from the initial booking to the stay. We really liked the property and the location and it fit our needs perfectly. The house was clean and neat and had many amenities that we appreciated all at a good price. The transaction and the communication with the owner was second to none. Family vacation
The property was in a good location and it was in really good condition! Loved the outdoor shower!! Everything was in working order. Close enough to most things we did and not too far away from others. The house had everything we needed and more. The owner was very responsive to any questions we had. It was really nice to have linens and towels provided. I can't think of anything else we needed. I would stay again. Jay was a wonderful host.
