This is our second time staying here and we love the location. The beach has perfect access and not crowded at all. Owners are very responsive.

We have family in Garden City and visit often. We will have no reservations about staying at Janes Addiction again. Located in a great complex of condos that are kept up, open and bright, and right on the quiet end of Garden City beach. The weather was surprisingly terrible during our stay, but we were comfortable and cozy even while stuck inside. I loved the view of the inlet, and it was great to get peeks of the ocean from our porch and when walking to the beach. I loved the washer and dryer, the king bed is very comfortable and our kids loved the bunks. I highly recommend this little gem of a condo and we will be back!

This was the perfect place for my family to stay over spring break! The location was great and beach access was so convenient. We really enjoyed how quiet the beach was. The place was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked so it was very easy to cook. Check in/check out was easy and communication was wonderful. We are so glad we made the choice to stay here and hope to be back! Thank you!

Everything went smoothly with check in/out and parking/gate access. The place was clean and as pictured and described. The location was perfect for us. Loved that we didn’t have to pack linens and towels. The place was already set with trash bags in place and paper towels and toilet paper on the rolls, which was lovely. We had 2 adults and 2 children aged 10 and 8. The unit is family friendly and the kids loved it there. Would definitely recommend.

This place is super clean and comfortable. The kitchen is modern and well stocked. The master is great but the kids room was adorable!!! Owners are super helpful and gated parking is comforting. Will stay many more times.

Please ignore Pam D. and her one star review below. This is our second time staying in this unit. The first time was in 2020 when the master bath was really small and a weird layout. We rebooked this year, not knowing they had redone the bathroom. It looks really great and the layout works so much better than before. We love this place because it’s clean and big enough for our family of four that includes two children, 8 & 11. We LOVE how quiet the beach is and there are hardly any people around us. Its a super easy walk to the beach from the condo. We will definitely be booking a third time in the future.

This type of place probably meets the needs of people who spend 99% of their vacation time on the beach and only need a place to eat take-out and crash. But it's not suited to those who expect to enjoy clean, pleasant beachfront surroundings when renting a vacation place. One-third of the tiny deck is taken up by a 2-cushion plastic woven sofa that faces a wall. The cushions are dirty and mildewed, and in our case were soaking wet when we arrived. The unit is on the street end of the building, so the only view of the ocean is a thin sliver between two buildings. Most of the view from the deck is of swimming pools in the parking lots of two adjacent houses. The living room furniture consists of two couches that appear to be thrift store finds. One is dirty and stained (a fridge note from the landlord instructs to use provided baby wipes to clean spills, but none were actually provided (or needed in our case), nor was the 5-gallon water jug renters are instructed to replace with a full one). We found cookie crumbs between the cushions of the second couch. Between the couches is a table made from lumberyard lumber. Totally absent are the typical printed materials including menus that help people unfamiliar with an area select attractions and restaurants. There are three TVs with Roku remotes but no instructions as to how to use them and in fact the living room TV has three remotes. We stumbled on Netflix the last night we were there – nothing informs the renter what streaming services are available to them. The three windows in the place are fogged and the screens are laced with some weird fiber that looks like a Halloween spider web. There is a fourth window, in the second bedroom, but it faces the hallway and is covered up. The front door has three locks, but the strikers are misaligned so that they all cannot be locked at once. There is no screen door for the deck sliding door, so enjoying fresh outside air comes with the risk of letting bugs in. In fact, the skeleton of a huge flying insect appears to be permanently attached to the back of the drape. Wiping up a small clean water spill on the floor resulted in a filthy paper towel. A facecloth draped over the shower curtain rod came down filthy with rust and grime. The insides of the clear plastic handles of the tub faucets are dirty. The HVAC system is very, very loud.

Very nice and clean property. Sure there are nicer condos and homes on the beach but you will pay a lot more for them. It was a great 2 bedroom condo on the third floor with a great view for being in the back of the building. Only drawback was a rather tiny master bath but the kids loved it we had a hard time getting access to it. Haha.

Perfect little spot! We would definitely stay again!

Our stay was great here. The property is very well kept, and exactly how it was pictured. The owners were very easy to reach when we needed to contact them. The private beach was wonderful, and my son loved the pool. Only down side was having two cockroaches inside while we were there, but that’s typically with the South. Over all a wonderful time. We will definitely be looking into staying again.

Great experience overall. The actual property owner was very helpful. Other than being third floor with only stairs, everything was first rate. We loved it!

Jane's Addiction. It has everything to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. The property was very clean and well maintained, with comfy beds and cozy decor. It even had some books and movies for our little ones. The beach was clean and had very few people. But at the same time, this location is close to all the great restaurants that Murrell's Inlet has to offer. It's also close enough to Myrtle beach if you'd like to attend one o it's attractions ( Wax Museum was a lot of fun). Caleb and Natalie were easy to talk to and made sure that we had everything that we needed during our stay. We'll be back!

Had a great time and place was perfect for a quick getaway for the family. The beach was perfect and great for a still socially distant spring break! Kids didn't want to leave! Highly recommend.

Jane's Addiction is in an older building, but the owner has made some very nice updates to the unit. The unit was clean, we had all the cooking essentials to make food at home and the location can't be beat. It was so nice to be right on the beach so we could walk back to make lunch and catch a nap. Highly recommend this place and hope to be back soon! Thank you

Having environmental allergies it is often difficult to find an appropriate place early in the season. The place was CLEAN throughout (except for the stove). As stated the beach is lovely even with drizzle and rain. There were many times when the beach was completely empty. The beach was as clean as the house - no seaweed, and with the turning tides there were many shells to be found. The three flights of stairs could be difficult for those with young children. Unfortunately, a family emergency sent me home early; I look forward to returning.
