Notre chalet confortable en bord de mer est situé derrière notre maison familiale où nous vivons à plein temps. Nous sommes à 1 pâté de maisons de la plage et à 5 pâtés de maisons de la rue Main. 2 chambres, 1 salle de bain avec laveuse / sécheuse, salon cuisine combo. 1 chambre avec lit queen. 2ème chambre avec 2 lits jumeaux. Planchers de bois franc. Commencez votre journée sur le grand porche ou détendez-vous avec un verre de vin à la fin de la journée. Après votre journée sur la plage, revenez et prenez une douche extérieure rafraîchissante. Faim? Barbecue à gaz fourni ou profitez de l'un des nombreux excellents restaurants de la ville. 2 badges de plage, 2 chaises de plage, 2 serviettes de plage fournies pendant votre séjour. Si d'autres sont nécessaires, contactez le propriétaire. Frais de nettoyage inclus dans le prix. Pendant l'été, les locations sont du dimanche au dimanche. Our stay couldn't have been better. I hesitate to give too good a review because it could cause all cottage dates to fill up. Let's keep this little gem to ourselves.
Belmar has a lot of places to eat. The beach is clean and badges are reasonably priced. Although the cottage comes with beach badges. The cottage comes stocked with everything you probably forgot to bring. So don't worry. We forgot to bring bread. We no sooner told our host than she appeared with a loaf. We'll be back!!!

The cottage was perfect for our family’s weekend away! Jean was a fantastic host and we enjoyed the cute front porch and the side area for our little one to play. We will definitely stay again at the cottage when back in the area!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The hosts were wonderful and the accommodations clean. The cottage is stocked with all the necessities and it’s down the street from the beach and boardwalk.

We found a lot to do. Shopping in near by Ocean Grove boutiques, plenty of restaurants with delicious food, the beach was quiet at this time of year but beautiful, a jacket needed for 1st week of April but was 60 degrees later, Went to the movies in Point Pleasant and the aquarium. We got our nails done. Everything you need was there. Washer and dryer was a plus, clean and comfortable. I slept well, it was nice and quiet. I noticed an outdoor shower and chairs for the beach but didn’t ask if they were available. The host was very friendly and offered any services. I was just happy to be so relaxed. I will go again.

I was in town for a short weekend, and this quaint cottage fit the bill for my needs. It’s just as described and I felt safe and welcomed by Jean. I would definitely book this one again if I’m back in the area.

We stayed during tropical storm Ophelia so we couldn't get to the beach as planned but even so we were very comfortable here. It was clean, neat and very near the necessities of life (read: the Bagelry that has *the best* bagels :-) ). We will definitely try to stay here the next time we come to Belmar.

The cottage was exactly as described. It is about a block from the beach, and about 1/2 mile (walkable) from Main St. The cottage was extremely clean, well supplied, and very comfortable. I liked the outdoor shower. The property owners were very friendly and helpful.

My sister and I searched for a last minute getaway at the Jersey shore and found this exceptional cottage by the sea. The owners Jean and Jim were so accommodating and pleasant to work with. The cottage has so many amenities, an amazing front porch and is one block from the beach. The weather was perfect and we spent most of our time outdoors walking on the boardwalk, at the beach and trying many great restaurants. I would highly recommend this cottage and look forward to returning soon.

Super pleased with this bungalow. Clean, comfortably decorated, well equipped, cozy. Close to the beach. Had everything we needed. 4 adults (2couples) stayed here and it was perfect. Didn't get to use the outside shower but we'll have to come back in the summer for that. 😊 Thanks for everything Jean!

We had such an amazing experience at this property! It was extremely clean and conveniently located a bit over a block from the beach. The property owners were welcoming and communicative while also giving us our privacy. It's a cozy space but my mom and I found it just the right size for a weekend stay. The small porch was ideal for reading and relaxing. Overall I would highly recommend this property!

Belmar is a great little beach town! The boardwalk and ocean are right at the end of the street, which we loved. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. We loved walking to the coffee shop and Playa Bowls. Jean was great, very easy to communicate with and kind. Having water and coffee readily available was a nice touch! We really appreciated it. Would love to come back.

A perfect weekend getaway!
We had such a great time this weekend! Jean was such an accommodating host! The little cottage was perfect for my husband, son and I! We loved how close it was to the beach and that beach supplies(chairs, umbrella and wagon) was there for us to use. We will definitely be back again for another stay!

Cottage by the Ocean
Jean greeted us when we got there and showed us around. Everything we needed was provided for us. The sheets and blankets were super comfy. We couldn’t have asked for a better location - we were less than two blocks from the ocean. She provided beach chairs, beach tags, beach towels, and an umbrella for us to use. Sisterhood of the traveling black jeans
My husband and I just stayed at Jean’s lovely cottage this past weekend. It was a very relaxing, restful few days. The beach , just gorgeous BTW, was a short walk away. Lots of nice restaurants close by. The weather warmed up so I had no use for the black jeans I packed so of course l left them in the dresser when packing to go home. Jean promptly texted me and was willing to mail them back. She, Jim, and Casey are wonderful hosts and I hope our paths cross again. 😀

Pleasant, cozy cottage and great location
We had a very pleasant 5-night stay. Convenient to Beach that's only a block away. Our hosts Jean and Jim were extremely nice and accommodating. The cottage was quiet and tucked away and had pretty much everything we needed and more. We would definitely stay here again!

Cozy and clean
This property is a fairly small cottage but if you are looking for something clean and cozy, it's just the ticket. Jean is the most amazing hostess and literally thought of everything we could possibly need...extra towels, water in the fridge, shampoo in the outdoor shower, extra blankets. The place was perfectly clean and she bent over backwards to accommodate us since we arrived in town early. It was a wonderful getaway location and you definitely will not be disappointed!!

Wonderful family beach week in Belmar
Clean, adorable beachy cottage with everything we needed for a great week at the beach- chairs, passes, umbrella, cart. Property is a block and a half from the beach. The hosts, Jean and Jim, were lovely and welcoming. Always available if we needed anything. Very responsive. We felt very at home. Having a washer/dryer was an amenity we didn’t realize we wanted but it was such a great perk. Highly recommend this property.

Lovely beach cottage
We had a great time at Jean and Jim’s place. The cottage is so cute and had everything we needed. A short block from the beach and close to several restaurants, we basically walked everywhere we went. Jean and Jim were very friendly and were great hosts. We would definitely stay there again. Belmar was also a very nice, clean beach town. We had a great time!

Awesome cottage one block to beach
Jean’s beach cottage is delightful. Clean and cozy. We came to the shore mid-January to celebrate my sister’s 50th wedding anniversary. The cottage was warm, the bathroom immaculate and Jean adds special touches including Keurig coffees, chocolates and chilled water. Extra amenities in case you forget anything in the bathroom. I couldn’t have asked for more. We will be back!

Perfect Weekend Get Away
The Belmar Beach Cottage by the Sea was the perfect get away for our ladies weekend. It truly is by the sea, just one block from the ocean! Our host was super responsive by email and provided all necessary details. She was able to meet us when we got there which was greatly appreciated. The cottage is amazing! It is clean and cozy and had everything we needed and then some. We appreciated the comfy beds and the fluffy towels among other amenities. Even though the weather turned colder than we would have liked, we had a great time exploring Belmar, Ocean Grove, Asbury Park, and Sandy Hook. Highly suggest 10th Avenue Burrito and Stay Gold. I cannot wait to come back with my husband again soon.

My experience with this property was amazing. We were so amazed by how clean and fresh the house was as we walked in.
Jean was sweet and helpful. We cant say enough to thank for all we enjoyed. Actually we enjoyed more in the house then beach. If we plan to come to beach again, this will be the place we definately would like to stay!
