Ce bijou est une belle maison victorienne, une vraie en son genre à Belmar! C'est un super quartier familial.
NOUS NE LOUONS PAS AUX JEUNES GROUPES !! Doit avoir au moins 40 ans (nous exigeons une preuve d'âge).
Entrez dans la porte d'entrée et vous entrez dans notre salon spacieux (avec canapé-lit) et grande télévision à écran plat. Vous donnez sur la salle à manger qui est ouverte et peut accueillir 6 personnes confortablement. De la salle à manger, vous voyez la grande cuisine avec des comptoirs en granit et une cuisinière à gaz pour ceux qui aiment cuisiner.
Le vrai bijou au premier étage est le pont enveloppant avec vue sur le lac Silver. L'un des meilleurs endroits de la maison pour se détendre et se relaxer!
Le 2e étage comprend 3 chambres et 2 salles de bain complètes. La première chambre est immense et dispose d'un lit queen avec une porte sur la terrasse du deuxième étage qui offre une vue imprenable sur l'océan. En position couchée, vous avez également une vue sur le lac Silver. La deuxième chambre a un lit double et vous profitez également d'une vue sur le lac. La troisième chambre est également très grande et a un lit queen et sa propre salle de bain privée récemment mise à jour qui est immense et dispose d'une douche debout et d'une baignoire séparée. Il y a aussi une très grande salle de bain complète dans le couloir au 2ème étage avec une baignoire sur pattes.
Le troisième étage dispose de 2 chambres, une avec un lit queen et une grande chambre avec un lit de jour qui s'ouvre sur 2 lits jumeaux ou 1 lit king. Il y a une télévision à écran plat dans cette chambre si vous voulez simplement l'utiliser comme lieu de détente ou coin / chambre pour enfants.
Nos endroits préférés sont à coup sûr les magnifiques ponts autour des ponts avec vue sur le lac Silver et l'océan. Cet espace est idéal pour lire un livre ou déguster une boisson. Il y a aussi une douche extérieure dans cette maison. Vous obtenez 4 passes de plage et chaises de plage avec cette location.

The location (1.5 blocks from the beach) with a full view of the lake is really fantastic! The front porch is the hang-out spot. Great breeze, view, and plenty of seating. Beds are comfortable and the overall layout is good. We had six adults and two kids, and it worked really well for us.

Perfect setting sitting on the front porch with a view of the lake. This was our second time staying here. The house has a lot of character it dates to the late 1800's. Being an older home you have to be okay with the charm & quirks which come with it - which we are. It was a very short walk to the beach. And it was great being able to brings the pets with us. It made it a true family vacation to have all of us there.

My sisters and I met for a family reunion. The house was big enough and was in a great location. It is a very old home with narrow steep stairs which was a challenge for one of my sisters. Housekeeping was not that great, barely any toilet paper in the bathrooms, 1/4 a roll to none. It also had ants in the kitchen so we did not want to cook after finding them everywhere. The owner offered a pest control service , but the
house was closed because of using the a/c. so we passed on that. Owner was very responsive to issues.

I rented this house (along with another nearby owned by the same landlord) for our wedding weekend in Spring Lake / Belmar. The house was as described, clean, and the perfect backdrop for wedding preparation pictures. The wraparound porch with the view of Silver Lake and the ocean was one of the highlights.
It is an old Victorian but there is central air in most of the rooms besides the very top floor. Linens and towels were not provided as noted in the listing; this arrangement is common along the Jersey shore. The landlord recommended a local provider, Blue Cottage Linens, which did a great job.
Communication with the landlord was great and there were no issues during check in or checkout. We're not a typical Belmar party crowd so the landlord had no problem hosting a wedding party, and we had no issues with the neighbors by hanging out on the front porch late and not being too loud. Ample street parking, at least in late May / early June.
Great experience and really added to our wedding weekend. Highly recommend!

Spent a few days here with the family in May 2024. Great walking distance from the boardwalk for the kids to use their scooters. Street parking and driveway parking was a plus. Owners were super friendly and were quick to respond to questions about the house. Kids asked if we could stay there again!

Great old house. Owners were very upfront about any possible issues even before we got there. The fifth bedroom was the only problem for us since we needed 5 private bedrooms with doors but we made it all work. Its a beautiful old house with tons of charm and within walking distance to the beach and some shops.

The house is located close to the shore and has parking. It is an adequate 4-5 bedroom house because the 5th bedroom does not have a door for privacy. The front storm doors and the door to the 2nd floor balcony needs repair as well as a few other areas of the house. Everything was functional but it would have been nice if it was better maintained.

It was as clean as a home this age could be, but there were ants in the kitchen. When I let the owner know, I was given an errand, not a solution.
Belmar Beach is a little sleepy, not many restaurant options right on the beach, but plenty in town, which is an easy, safe walk. It was nice to have some beach passes included, but it would make sense to have more, considering the capacity of the home.
The communication in the week leading up to our stay was almost non existent, & I was honestly concerned, especially with all of us flying in from thousands of miles away. It was only after we arrived that we started getting consistent text messages, and prompt responses to our messages.
This was our first time staying anywhere that did not include towels or sheets, which was truly inconvenient (we had to pay for extra checked luggage!).
The home is truly lovely and overpriced for what is (not) included.

We flew from San Diego to the NJ shore for a Thanksgiving three day visit. The host did not emphasize that we must fly our sheets and towels (all linens) for the three day stay. We did not see it in the write up while selecting the home, if it was there. I have since screen printed the write up and still do not see it...should the write up change once I post this.
Had we known this about the linens, we would have rented a different home or stayed in one of the local B & B type inns.
In fairness to the host--you will get informed about this issue, however. The host will email you the Info Sheet approximately 24 hours before your check in. This no linens supplied issue is on the LAST line on that long sheet.
Should you not read to the last line, because you are packing, last minute errands, etc etc as so many of us lead busy lives, then I hope my heads up here has helped you out.
It is not fun to unlock a home @ 10 pm after a long day of flying to discover there are only sandy mattress pads for your sleep and no hand or bath towels for bathing.
Oddly enough, we were the only ones in our large family group who rented homes (in the same area) over the Thanksgiving holiday who were not supplied sheets or towels (linens) with our rental. The other four homes that were rented by our family members (from different hosts) were baffled why we were in this situation.
To be fair, I want to note that when I brought this issue to the host's attention during our stay, I was told that I could have "rented" the sheets and towels from her. So keep this in mind for this rental. You can RENT your linens along with paying all the other fees.

This property was absolutely beautiful. Upon arriving, the check in process was quick and easy. The house was spacious and clean, with a beautiful view of the lake across the street. Location is also a short walk from the beach and boardwalk.
My friends and I stayed here for my wedding weekend and used this beautiful home to get ready. There was plenty of space for us and the house doubled as a beautiful backdrop for photos with my bridal party.
The hosts made themselves available if needed and sent a detailed email prior to check in to help me prepare for my stay.

We stayed here for our wedding. It was beautiful. The groomsmen got ready at the house and then we were able to have our children stay there overnight. The view was beautiful. The only thing we didn’t realize was that one bedroom didn’t have a door. However, the property was exactly what we needed!

What a wonderful house for a reunion with friends! The location is spectacular. With the lake gleaming right out front and the ocean shimmering nearby, this spot will give you the water fix you need. We walked to Spring Lake and back on the fantastic boardwalks, but could have spent every minute on that amazing porch. We cooked our meals in the well-appointed kitchen and sat comfortably at the dining room table for hours, after cocktails on the porch, of course! We had the pleasure of meeting our hosts who were in town themselves and they were so welcoming and caring. Thank you so much for a perfect place to gather and we will be back again!

Our family of 11 had a wonderful vacation in this house. The owner Kelli was quick to respond to all questions before and during our trip and check in was so easy.
The house has great character and beachy decor. The master suite with easy access to the kitchen was very convenient for a family with young children. The porch was our favorite spot. We enjoyed morning coffee and evening cocktails, beautiful sunsets and people watching.
The neighborhood around the lake was peaceful and quiet, but close to the beach and shops.

Perfect Getaway with Family
Have nothing but positive things to say about this property and host Kelli. She was very prompt in her responses and also generous in allowing us to check-in early. I dont think the pictures do the house justice it deserves- it was very clean and spacious and the kids loved all the rooms in the house. Distance from the beach is literally a 5 minute walk. There is also a nice playground walking distance and my dog loved the lake across from he house. Overall 5 stars- thanks again Kelli.

This house was perfect for our girls weekend! This spot is so beautiful you don't even need to leave the porch! You can see both the beautiful lake and beach right from the front. The neighbors were so kind and friendly. The charm of the house made us feel right at home. Would recommend to anyone looking for a nice relaxing stay in Belmar.

This is a beautiful house located just off the main drag and in a quiet neighborhood!!One block and you’re on the beach!!If that doesn’t work...the deck is large and if you position correctly...you have a view of the ocean and the lake across the street!
