Our week in this Belmar rental was lovely. The location was perfect and the house is as well kept as it appears to be in the pictures. It is also located on a corner lot, so the outside area was spacious and private. My favorite area of the home was the screened in porch where we enjoyed eating and spending time with our dogs. It was also wonderful that both bedding and towels were provided, along with everything you could need for the beach including beach passes. Our only complaint was that there was limited closet space and the mattress upstairs wasn’t the best. But overall, I highly recommend staying here and would most definitely return.

Great location!! Charming home with character. Very short walks to beach, Belmar boardwalk, MamaLukes, DJais, Lake Como among other places. This home is on a corner close to neighbors, yet feels private inside! Neat living space. Wicker rockers on covered patio. Table for 6 in screened porch. Love the red & white theme through the outdoor furniture, the flowers, the awnings. Neat Little balcony off upstairs loft bedroom. Note: no privacy door to loft bedroom. Stone fireplace. Not a huge footprint, yet home felt roomy for the space. ***One thing to note before renting*** If you need to be able lock the doors to feel secure, check with owners first. We were unable to lock the doors/secure the home in the kitchen and the porch. While it’s a safe neighborhood, I would like to have known that beforehand. The owners were extremely responsive, so I suspect that this is something that will be resolved quickly. We loved being able to walk to Lake Como just a couple of short blocks away. About a mile long loop - very clean - and full of wildlife. Beautiful homes. We saw a swan family with 7 babies, a great blue heron, snowy egret, red winged blackbirds, etc. At Belmar beach, while walking along the clean, wide boardwalk, we saw dolphins jumping offshore! And watched them swim alongside where we were walking! Loved the location. We did go prior to Memorial Day, so I suspect “summer at the shore” activity hadn’t really started yet.

Hi, We stayed at the charming cape for my mothers 94th birthday. It was the perfect place for our small family to enjoy the beach, a short walk down the sidewalk to the boardwalk that had a nice ramp up to it. The house had everything we needed and the hosts were very helpful. Thanks, Ray

I have been vacationing at the Jersey Shore for 40 years. This house was great! Not having to bring sheets, towels, beach gear, etc. was amazing. Everything you could need, was there! A great time was had by all! Thank you!

The house was perfect for our family. It was very clean, had all the amenities listed, and was in a great neighborhood. A quick two minute walk and you were on the beautiful Belmar Boardwalk. The hosts were kind and very attentive. The house was exactly what you see in the pictures and then some. We would definitely stay here again.

The house was just like in the pictures. It was very clean and very comfortable and only a short walk to the beach. Our favorite spot was the screened-in porch, where we had breakfast every morning and coffee every evening. The hosts were extremely attentive and accommodating, always available for any questions or recommendations, like restaurants and activities. They would always urge us to call, if we needed anything. It would be hard to find a nicer place to stay.

We were three couples within a family, plus a small dog. This is a bright and spacious home with a great layout, and ample seating inside and outside. It was cool enough most days but when we did use the AC, it worked smoothly. It was an easy walk to the beach (and Pitney-dog beach)and did plenty of exercise walking on the lengthy boardwalk, around Lake Como and Spring Lake town. Having three parking spots on the two driveways was a definite plus. I prepared most meals in the kitchen and found it pretty easy to work in. We also used the grill twice. The Sweenys are friendly and attentive hosts. A shower issue was quickly resolved with a plumber’s visit. I would definitely envision another stay in the future.

My family and I including our dog really loved this house! The pictures are accurate but the rooms are bigger than they appear. The beds were all comfortable. Loft space is very large. A/C, washer/dryer, outdoor shower and garage full of beach equipment were perfect, but the best feature of the home is the screened in porch! The awnings kept it cool and breezy so it was really enjoyable! The owners are very accommodating and responsive! Would definitely recommend!

Lovely, well kept home steps from the beach and other fun Belmar activities! Spotless, well equipped, comfortable with brand new furnishings. Perfect for family beach vacation or couples restful get-away!!!

This was our second stay at this property. We had another great time. It is a nice house with an excellent location. The owner is very responsive and we had access to all the beach supplies we needed. We look forward to staying again in the future.

We had a fun time at this property. The space was just right for the 5 of us (plus baby Mia & pup Astro). Kitchen was equipped with everything we needed, and it was lovely having beach chairs, towels, umbrellas, etc available for the short walk to the beach. Loved the front porch and screened side porch for breakfast The hosts - Doug and Susanne were very convivial and available when needed. (For those who like/ require a good supportive mattress, the queen mattress down stairs was better than the upstairs queen). But all in all a nice rental.

Being just a short walk to the beach was SO nice, and having beach chairs and an umbrella there to borrow was perfect. We loved it! We really needed a week away , and this week was perfect for us! We had a truly wonderful time at this beautiful property. The house is larger than the pictures suggest, and has a really great layout, allowing us to really spread out. New furnishings in the living room were great, and the porches - one screened-in, and two open-air, one upstairs and the other downstairs - plus patio and BBQ grill really are a plus. Add to that a fully equipped and bright kitchen, ample off street parking, and wonderful proximity to the beach, and this place really is fantastic. Plus, the host is really wonderful - you’ll feel like you’re staying in the home of good friends. Highly recommend!!

We had a wonderful week in Lake Como and enjoyed the beach, restaurants, biking around Spring Lake and relaxing on the lovely front porch of the house. It is a short walk from the house to the beach and various eateries. Suzanne and Doug were extremely responsive and helpful as they live only a few blocks away. Helpful for renters to know that master bedroom is a loft with no door that is open to the kitchen area. Owners were receptive to our suggestions that beach chairs and cookware should be upgraded. Overall great week!

While this house looks old-fashioned on the outside, it's updated on the inside, with all the conveniences one needs. We really enjoyed the shaded windows and porch, making it cooler. We also enjoyed the indoor brightness from many skylights in the roof. The location was great for us since it's a short walk to our son's house and only a couple of blocks to the beach. Quiet, safe neighborhood. The owners answered our many questions and even dropped off new pot and pans because the old ones were in bad shape! They offer many amenities like free linens/towels and use of their beach chairs, bikes and toys. We'll stay here again if possible!

Absolutely loved this property. Great location, great house, great owners. Not a single complaint! The house is spacious and was able to fit everyone comfortably. The neighbors are elder and super sweet, my group (26-34-year-olds) enjoyed getting to know them during our stay. The house was equipped though we personally brought plenty. 10/10. I will be renting this house again for longer durations!

We had a wonderful stay in Susanne and Doug’s lovely home. They were very helpful answering questions before and during our stay and everything was spotless when we arrived. There is ample off street parking, which can be very helpful on the weekends and busy beach days. The screened-in porch is a major plus and highlight of the home. We would absolutely rent again.

Had a great week in this charming Jersey Shore house. Just 2 blocks from the beach!

Very comfortable and clean home. Our grandchildren came for a long weekend and had so much fun playing outside and walking to the playground a few blocks away. Our dog loved walking to the lake only 2 blocks away! We will come back next year.

Our extended family enjoyed our stay in this gracious, clean, and modernized house with plenty of seating in the living room, kitchen, dining area, and screened in porch. It is two blocks from Lake Como and three blocks from the beach in a quiet, residential neighborhood. The house provides beach badges and beach gear. The hosts are very pleasant people and we had a wonderful vacation.
