This property was everything we were looking for. It has so much space for our group! Loved the hot tub, and game tables! Will definitely be coming back!

The whole process was simple and Kellie was quick to response with the couple questions I had. It’s not my first time at this property and if I’m with a bigger group it won’t be my last.

The amount of space was awesome. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen facilities were great. We enjoyed the game room and had a great time here. We relaxed in the hot tub too.

We had a great time at this cabin for our family reunion. We had 21 people and most had a comfortable bed. The futons were not comfortable- our young adult kids ended up sleeping on the couch and the floor in the basement. I wouldn't consider the futons good options for adults. The cabin had a LOT of space. It is in a beautiful area. We enjoyed walks every morning and saw lots of wildlife. The cabin was clean and had a lot of amenities. The wifi wasn't strong- we had problems connecting so if you are wanting to work from home, it might not be great. We had a fabulous time and really enjoyed the cabin.

We loved this secluded house for our family reunion! Great location, close to Deadwood and Sturgis. We took walks and my grandson looked for dear. Loved having an extra refrigerator. Plenty of bedrooms, large tables, and living areas so we could be together when we wanted, but still have our own privacy when needed. If our family ever comes back to this area, we would stay here again.

We had 11 adults and 6 children for a friend-reunion weekend, and this property was perfect! Everything was VERY clean, and the multiple levels were ideal for separating sleeping kids from late-nighting adults. The only frustration was spotty wi-fi, but maybe that’s to encourage you to be on vacation!

It was perfect for our gathering!! Definitely utilized the yard and the garage along with the pool and foosball table. Lots of Space and plenty of bathrooms for everyone!

Very nice and cozy place, the area surrounding the house is a very nice place to enjoy walks, my family and I were delighted with the place, and we want to return soon.

We all enjoyed ourselves at this cabin! Our big family had plenty of space yet had great gathering space as well!

The place is really nice although it could use some serious cleaning and some maintenance from light switches to light bulbs that didn't work. Just your normal home maintenance. I would definitely rent again.

The location is great, the cabin is huge. The cleaning could be better there were a lot of mouse traps and mouse droppings. The place could use a good pest control. Our family did enjoy the hot tub, the pool table, the fireplace and the large dining table and the many games available.

The home is what it looks like online. Its is in need of allot of maintaince! Light bulbs burnt out, water damge in bathrooms and downstairs ceiling, holes in the walls, carpeting is old and needs to be cleaned or replaced, tvs in bedrooms with no remotes. I would find another place!

The property was great. Large enough for all our family to get together. Loved the big open areas for families to hang out and be together. Communication was great with property manager, quick responses at all times of the day.

We had a family gathering here in Aug. 2022 for our mom's 80th birthday. First, the good: The house is huge and has great gathering spaces. This was obviously a nice place when it was built. View is nice but not great for the Black Hills. We have enjoyed many great stays in vacation rentals. This was the first bad one. Here's our experience: - Dirty dishes in sink, dishwasher not emptied, fridge not cleaned out. - Main floor hall bath had dirty towels on hooks and POOP in toilet. - Floors had not been mopped or vacuumed. Carpets are stained. - Dirty swimsuit on the floor in a basement closet. - Hand rails on the back deck and front entrance are nearly disconnected and completely unsafe. - Hole in basement hallway wall and stain on futon mattress. - There was one microwave and it did not work. - Hot tub had patches of dark crud in the bottom (given the state of the rest of the place, we did not use it.) - Hot tub was in a solarium but nearly all the screens were ripped or missing. So it was called "the fly room." - Grill was also filthy so we didn't use it. - One patio table is just broken slate pieces and is unusable and dangerous. The other was a piece of 1-inch pine still wrapped in Menards plastic, balanced on two barrels. - Lots of gnats in both basement en suite bathrooms, one of the basement toilets doesn’t flush well and the tub in the other drains very slowly. - MICE. The first night my brother saw 3 mice come out from under the cabinet in the main hall bath and run out under the door. The second night my BIL woke to a mouse running across his face in the loft, and my step-dad saw one come out of the master bath and run into the cedar closet, which is full of bedding and pillows piled on the floor. After that night, you could not have paid us to stay longer. - The evening we checked in, two plumbers showed up to change out a water heater. They were there until 10 pm, which was awkward. - I reported all of these issues to the owner, Kellie Weinheimer, and asked for a refund of our cleaning fee. We left all the dirty linens and towels in the laundry room and the garbage at the curb when we left, as directed.) Kellie's response was that the microwave was supposed to have been replaced, the hot tub had been "drained and refilled" before we came, and she didn't know when the plumbers were coming. She didn't comment on the mice or other issues. And she refused to refund our cleaning fee. Do NOT recommend staying here.

This cabin was a very good size for our large family. The location fit us perfectly. Never had many complaints. The cabin does need a little bit of repairs but nothing that interrupted our stay. Thanks for providing our family with a great place to make memories together!

The set up of the bedrooms was ideal for our extended family. The cabin is very nice. The one negative is so many light bulbs needed changing.

Check in process was simple and the size of the house did not disappoint. We had room to spread out and enjoy the king size beds; plenty of room for all. Kitchen was well stocked with anything we needed to enjoy a meal. The house was generally clean, but a little dusting wouldn't hurt. Sunroom did leak during rain showers but overall, we enjoyed our stay, and the family had a great time in a great location.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Plenty of room and the owner was very responsive. There were 17 of us. The house does need some maintenance, not real huge things. Lots of lights that were not working, the couch downstairs was coming apart and the upstairs main bathroom, the toilet never worked well. These were not deal breakers at all. Some family did an ATV day and it was nice to be able to ride directly from the house and not have to trailer the machines. Hot tub was great. Plenty of towels and linens. Probably need to update the description on the site as the bedroom configurations do not match what is actually there. And putting actual beds in those futon rooms would definitely be a plus. Overall, it is a great house.

Hot tub was luke warm. Shower down stairs wouldn’t drain. Toilet up stairs had issues. Only 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom for a 4 day stay. Easy access to trails and close to Lead if we needed supplies.

The house was beautiful and had plenty of room for all 16 of us to have our own private room and plenty of spaces to all be able to hang out in. The house itself though needs some cleaning work and maintenance work. There were several large cob webs on the logs in the living/dining area that are obvious to the naked eye along with a lot of dust. The kitchen floor tile grout was chipping out, several lights were out in the house or missing light bulbs, making the house seem very dark during the evening hours, several ceiling tiles were out of place and up against the wall in The basement. It had snowed prior to our arrival and the drive way and entrance into the building was not shoveled and made it a little difficult for some of our older family members with walking difficulty to come and go out of the house. The main floor bathroom had some flushing problems but after fixing the chain in the tank a few times it worked fine. All in all the house was nice but could be better with taking some time to do a thorough clean and maintenance check to get everything in top running order. Felt that possibly our reservation was forgotten and the house wasn’t in tip top shape for us.

The house was absolutely perfect for our family. We have plenty of bedrooms for everyone. Great location for our snowmobile trip. Only 1 mile from the trails. And the hot tub was fantastic as it was in an enclosed porch area and we didn’t have to go outside to utilize it. The only downfall would be the size of the kitchen. It is smaller for the amount of people that we can have in the house but we made do with it as the many bedrooms made up for that. Beautiful cabin!! Would recommend if you have a large group. Plenty of parking also.

This property was the ideal location for a large family gathering to celebrate our parents anniversary. We had lots of room for all 24 of us to spread out, and beds to sleep in.

We booked this house for an anniversary and had 19 adults. The house over all was great. It was beautiful and had plenty of room for all of us. The location was great. The kitchen was well stocked with big pots for cooking (I brought my own because I wasn't sure they would have big enough stuff). The only issue would be two of the bedrooms have futon beds and they are extremely uncomfortable, we had to go buy blowup mattresses. I would highly recommend the owners replace with actual beds. It would also be nice if the home had a recliner for older guests that can't sleep flat. We are talking about turning this into an annual trip and would absolutely rebook this home if the two futons were changed to real beds.

Beautiful place. Lots of fun! Some things such as pool table, doors to bedrooms, chairs in main living room have a lot of wear and tears. But, all was still usable. Location was easy to find and easy to get into the cabin. We had a great time!

We enjoyed our stay in your cabin. The amount of space and beds is fabulous. We did find the basement sectional couch in poor repair with cushions coming apart. For an older cabin, over all it was in good condition with suitable furnishings and comfortable beds.

Very nice place to stay. It would have been a excellent place if the ski area and the tubing area had been running behind the house. Only complaint was the bed in the main floor master bedroom otherwise it was great for the 20 family members that stayed there. I think the box spring needs replacing on the bed in the master bedroom I mentioned.

Overall our experience was good. I was disappointed that we were unable to check in until almost 5:15pm when check-in was set for 4pm. Owner was apologetic about this, however. I would maybe encourage the owners to update their listing for accuracy about the amenities of the property. We were unable to find any sort of ice maker in the cabin, however we did find some ice in the freezers which was nice. We were very happy with the location, and the cabin itself easily and comfortably accommodated all of us without feeling small or cramped whatsoever. The pictures do not do the cabin size justice whatsoever!

This rental was a great place to stay for our group of 16 friends. It was spacious and never felt like there were 16 people staying there. One main floor toilet worked part-time but found a workaround. There was ample parking for our trucks, trailer and SxSs. Close to Lead and trails. Beautiful area!
