Cette nouvelle location est le rêve des vacanciers. Située sur le côté calme et isolé du lac Donner (côté sud), cette maison offre de grandes baies vitrées dans la grande salle principale, deux ponts séparés donnant sur le lac et une grande jetée privée pour un accès facile à la navigation de plaisance et à la baignade.
Entrez dans la propriété au niveau de la grande salle principale. Un plan d'étage ouvert avec de hauts plafonds voûtés offre des vues spectaculaires et est parfait pour se divertir. Deux grandes portes coulissantes en verre donnent sur une terrasse / terrasse spacieuse avec coin repas extérieur, barbecue à gaz et sièges confortables. La cuisine ouverte et le bar du petit-déjeuner sont finis avec des appareils haut de gamme, des comptoirs en marbre et des boiseries fines.
Le premier étage est également aménagé avec une chambre queen et salle de bain partagée avec de beaux travaux en pierre et une douche debout.
Un loft ouvert est disponible pour les enfants supplémentaires de votre groupe; quatre simples lits jumeaux sont disponibles.
Descendez au rez-de-chaussée. Deux chambres sont situées au bord du lac, avec de grandes portes coulissantes en verre menant à une terrasse couverte donnant sur le lac. Our family had an excellent time staying at this beautiful property. The new pier was absolutely stunning and provided the perfect spot for sunbathing and evening sunsets. The views from the house were amazing from the two decks, and the location was perfect, close to donner memorial state park! Check-in and check-out was also very easy making our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this place and we are already looking forward to our next visit!

The house was very impressive when we first showed up and the view is very nice, however there is a long walk from the garage to the house, about 100' and it drops about 30' in elevation, so going in and out of the house was a lot of work and I almost passed out after loading the cars up to leave (to be fair, the elevation added to the difficulty of the long walk). The house is in a nice area and is pleasant to hang out in, but 2 out of 3 bedrooms are on the bottom floor and you can hear everything through the floor. I've never experienced anything like that, but when we put down my nephew for a nap in the room below, we had to walk on our tip toes and whisper on the top floor and we couldn't tip toe over the room where the baby slept because even the creaking from the tip toes would wake him right up. Each morning the entire house wakes up at the same time because there's no way to make coffee without creaking over the two bedrooms below. I woke up one morning and thought someone was moving a chair back and forth upstairs, only to find out that my daughter was coloring and the coloring book was sliding back and forth on the ground as she colored. Although it was nice being able to commmunicate with people on the upper floor without having to leave my bedroom. Some additional advice- the shower curtain on the bottom floor hallway has lots of mildew, so we recommend taking showers in the bathroom off the kitchen. Overall we enjoyed our stay, but not without it's challenges.

The view is wonderful and so is the water. I knew there were stairs but not that many. The wi-fi was spotty.
I rent quite a few homes across the country and I’ve never had beds with miss matched and OLD sheets. I have never had a kitchen without storage bags or silver foil. This was a college hang out.

Perfect location, quiet and lovely. Sleeps up to 10 but we we just two couples. Would be perfect for a large family. Well appointed, clean and comfortable beds.

Great house. Great location. Never stayed at Donner lake before but loved the slower pace and beautiful views. House was great. The stairs are an issue for anyone who is elderly or knee issues but we knew that so not an issue for us. The downstairs bedrooms did not have curtains on the sliding doors and the sun in the morning was a bit much. That’s really our only complaint. The beds we’re comfortable and the house well stocked. Take any aluminum wrap or storage containers you might need. We’ll definitely rent this house again. It was clean and comfy.

This home was perfect for our family of 8. We celebrated my dads 85th birthday. The views were fantastic and it was great to have our own dock where we could go out and use our paddle boards whenever we wanted without having to drive somewhere. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The couch was large enough for all of us to sit and watch a movie. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Our annual sibling trip was perfect at this lovely home. Four couples, plenty of hanging out space, gorgeous views ( from two bedrooms as well) and comfy beds. Wonderful location.

Beautiful property our whole family enjoyed….but there are LOTS of steps - from the garage down to the house, inside the house (3 levels) and then down to the dock. Unloading & loading back up were tiring!! Sadly, smoke from nearby fire limited some of our outdoor time/activities, but still enjoyed our time in this beautiful spot.

We stayed in this Vrbo to celebrate my mom’s 60th birthday. The location is beautiful with perfect views of the lake from both decks. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need and there is plenty of seating. As of the date of our stay (9/8/22), the oven door was broken, which we weren’t made aware of, so the oven was on and the door nearly fell off. I’ll be letting the property management know so hopefully that will be fixed. We had 7 adults, and while the listing description is technically accurate, the beds in the loft aren’t really designed for adults so just take that into account when you are planning for sleeping arrangements. Also, again, while the listing mentions the stairs, there are ~30 stairs from where you park down to the driveway, ~ 20 stairs from the driveway down to the front door and ~50 stairs from the door down to the water (plus the stairs in the house down to the bottom floor and then up to the loft). The pictures show stairs, but this house would be really challenging for anyone with mobility issues. Overall, it is a beautiful home, all beds aside from the loft were very comfortable and you can’t beat the view!

We stayed with another family & there was plenty of room for everyone. Upstairs area was perfect for the kids, while the master bedroom was on the lower floor & very private. Parking was easy & we were able to store the boat trailer in the garage for the weekend (although it was a snug fit). We reached out to the property manager a few times by email & got a response within minutes each time.

Beautiful Lake Cabin
Loved the large bedrooms with bathrooms downstairs and the loft up top for the kids! the kitchen was well stocked and the deck and view were amazing! Great traditional cabin charm! As long as you know there are a lot of stairs, it's a great family cabin.

This house was exactly as the pictures and description showed. It actually had a very nice updated leather couch in the living room as well. The communication before checking in was quick and responsive. House is amazing and being on the lake is hard to beat.

Great rental
This is a great house and was very comfortable for our group of six but could easily host 10 and remain comfortable. We used it to go skiing but would absolutely come back in the summer to enjoy the lake. At the end of the description, there is mention of the stairs down to the house from the driveway; there are 45 steps from the driveway to the main house so if stairs are an issue for anyone in your party, take this into consideration.

Perfect location
We loved having access to the water, and the south side of the lake is the best! It was a very quiet and peaceful setting and plenty of room for 2 families totaling 8 people. We would definitely return. Also the property manager, Holly was great to work with and very responsive to any needs we had.

Graduation Cabin
The cabin was beautiful. Everything worked great. We stayed here for my son's graduation at UNR and we traveled back and forth between Reno and the cabin easily (45 minutes). Somewhat surprised at the buckets of snow that fell as I thought I would be sitting down at the lake having a beer in the sun🌞. Still
sooo pretty. Went on a nice hike to the Donner visitors center! Hope to come back some day and enjoy snow or sun👍

Enjoyed our stay at this lakefront property. There was lots of room for our party of 9 adults and 3 kids. Views from the balconies were stunning. Propane grill was a plus. Kitchen and appliances, and house are clean. Little problem with kitchen sink but handyman came right away to fix. Would be nice if there was a hot tub. Overall great place. Would rent again.

Great cabin
Enjoyed our ski weekend with our family. Cabin is clean and overall in good shape with well-stocked kitchenware. The views are exactly as advertised; lakefront. Property manager has been amazingly responsive with all questions both before and during the visit.

Cozy home with beautiful views
Two families shared this home between Christmas and New Years and found plenty of room for everyone, 9 people. The common areas of living/dining and kitchen functioned well for us all to enjoy each other’s company but there was also space to be alone if people wanted that. The decks would be great for the summer. Proximity to town of Truckee is good for a little shopping or eating. There are lots of steep stairs to get into the home, so that needs to be considered if someone is disabled or is not strong enough to carry supplies and luggage into and out of the house.

Excellent property, wonderful home, exactly what was expected.
House nicely renovated with all the amenities. Perfect location and great views. Lots of sleeping areas. My only issue was there was a distinctive smoke smell and wasn't sure if that is permanent or the previous guests smoked cigars.
