Sunrise over the Westport River
Nouvellement rénové appartement de 1000 pieds carrés situé dans le sous-sol de notre maison. Le sous-sol donne sur la cour avant et offre une vue sur notre pelouse, notre jardin et le bras ouest de la rivière Westport. Situé dans le port de Westport. En face de la rivière, à 3 miles des plages de l'océan. Grande chambre / salon avec belle vue sur la rivière, salle à manger, cuisine nouvellement conçue avec îlot. Salle de bain complète avec douche. Entrée privée Voyage d'affaires prêt complet avec wifi gratuit, fer à repasser, planche à repasser, sèche-cheveux, climatiseur, laveuse / sécheuse, lave-vaisselle, micro-ondes, grande télévision à écran plat avec câble, HBO, Showtime, etc, Netflix, Amazon vidéo le kayak. Bicyclettes et kayaks fournis. Le propriétaire est un pêcheur avide et aime montrer aux autres où et comment.

Location, Location
What a delightful place to stay in a wonderful area. Our host was helpful in many ways, from moving kayaks to the waterfront for us to use and making suggestions on local places to visit, including glorious sunsets over the water at the end of the road. Enjoy Westport and Little Compton for natural beauty, great food and activity options.

Felt the pictures and description very fairly described the property. They maximized the place and put some nice amenities inside. They were also very careful with our privacy. Two items which I would provide as constructive feedback would be to add more sound dampening to the deck and rooms above and we were a bit disappointed to not have a view. Would rent again should the opportunity present itself.

Respite for relaxation... cottage decor.... climate control
It is a great location with proximity to Historic Adamsville (loved the historical handbooks on the area) and Adorable Tiverton 4 corners and not far from Horseneck state beach. Although it lacks an actual waterfront sunrise view of the river, a drive to anywhere includes beautiful river views... Having stayed in area cottages in the past I must say I did really appreciate the Fore’s basement walkout apartment. It was attractive, clean, comfortable and climate controlled with a well appointed kitchen (minus a good Chef’s knife.) Steve was in California during our visit but he made arrangements for an Acoaxet Kayak rental for our last day as he was not able to physically deliver Kayaks to the boat launch.

Great space, awesome hosts, even better area
This space is super roomy and the hosts are some of the most hospitable I've ever had! The location is awesome! Right across from the river and a short drive to the beach. This community is a sleepy New England beach town. Very quaint.
Yes, you can hear the hosts moving around upstairs in the morning, but they also provide a noise machine to accommodate this.
No complaints about our stay. In fact, we'll probably book it again at some point!

Wonderful stay overall!
The house was perfect and nicely equipped for simple cooking. ( I would suggest tupperware, a lobster pot, herbs and spices and a blender) and was very clean and organized. Communication with the owners was easy and very professional. The one draw back that future renters should be aware of is that any movement from upstairs above the bed can be heard very loudly. This means if you are wanting to sleep late on vacation, you will not be able to and you should be prepared to wake up around 6am. That said, the views of the river and overall quality of the stay far outweighed the sleeping issue.

Hidden gem
Beautiful setting in quiet peaceful location. The owner provided bikes which were great for exploring an old world neighborhood. The apartment was roomy with a well stocked modern kitchen. Love the gas range. The river was clean and clear we enjoyed daily swims and floats timed with the tide. Westport Harbor is great getaway and this property was perfect for our stay.

Relaxing Retreat
The photos do not do this place justice. A huge space that was super clean and comfortable! This place was so very relaxing for my daughter and I. We met Lynn, one of the owners, and she was so sweet. Easy in/easy out. Easy parking. Just a serene and calming location. Thanks Steve and Lynn.

Weekend trip
We had an enjoyable weekend on the Westport River. It was like having my son home again, if only for the weekend. There were a lot of little touches thay made it feel like home. Would definitely stay there again if we were in that area.

A weekend in R.I.
Very pleasant place. All the conveniences for a home away from home. When it rained, Steve and Lyn provided a tarp for our bikes and when we could not figure out how to work the TV (because somehow we missed seeing the gift basket which had the instructions) Lyn came down and helped. We are thinking about staying longer some time. The area is really beautiful and we had a lovely bike ride with friends when the weather cleared up. The day it rained we toured a mansion in Newport, not far away.

Very comfortable, welcoming, and modern
Our family of four spent 5 nights here and felt very welcomed and comfortable, with almost all of the comforts of home. Steve and Lyn were friendly and helpful, and the rooms themselves were spacious and comfortable. Highly recommended.

Excellent find
Steven and Lyn are wonderful hosts. The space they provide is very well kept and modern. The location is excellent, being within 40 minutes of Newport and providing an array of outdoor activities within a 10 minute radius. Definitely recommend; my girlfriend and I very much enjoyed our three nights with them.

A Trip to Remember
My boyfriend and I just recently came back from our trip from Westport. We absolutely loved it! The apartment was beautiful! Everything was clean, neat and well put together. The owners were helpful in every way. If we had any questions or requests, they were quick to answer. The owner, Steven, had given us advice as to where the best fishing spots are and how to get to the beaches. Which are simply down the road from the apt. The apartment also includes kayaks and bikes which we were able to use. I would recommend this place to anyone and will be visiting this place again next summer. P.S The have the cutest/ sweetest dog that loves to be petted. :)

The space was clean and well kept. We had plenty of room and everything we needed to be comfortable with 2 kids. I would recommend it for anyone looking to enjoy Westport!

Setting both cozy and spacious, with beautiful view, even better than the pictures show. Lyn and Steve are gracious hosts and genuine people. Accommodation charming and immaculate. Would absolutely recommend without hesitation..
