The Vista is a five star rental property!!!
If you are looking for a one bedroom five star rental property on Kiawah Island do yourself and your loved one a favor and stay at The Vista. You will be more than happy that you did! My wife and I both highly recommend staying here or at one of their other properties.
We just returned from a wonderful seven night stay! This was our second stay at The Vista property. It is a comfortable, exceptionally clean and beautifully decorated property with elegant artwork and high end furniture.
EVERYTHING that you will need during your stay has been provided. The kitchen, living room and bedroom all offer an amazing floor to ceiling view of the ocean. The beach is only a short one minute walk away!
Shawn and Jeanette, owners of Kiawah Island Getaways, are great to work with. They know Kiawah better than anyone and will answer any questions that you may have in a timely manner. The reservation process was so easy.

The best vacation we ever had!!!
We saw a spectacular video, back in November 2018 of a romantic, gorgeous condo overlooking the ocean at The Vista, at Shipwatch.
We immediately reached out to Kiawah Island Getaways and inquired about it. They could not have been more helpful!!
We booked Easter week, Saturday to Saturday. When we arrived and entered the condo, we realized that it was sooo much better than we had hoped for, and we hoped for the perfect place. We rented bikes and beach chairs with the coordination of Kiawah Island Getaways. We were given there cell phone numbers and advised to call or text them whenever we had a question or problem. Shawn and Jeanette Lawson, of Kiawah Island Getaways, whom I’ve never met, but spoke to or texted them each, several times over the course of the months prior to our vacation, could not have been more pleasant, helpful, professional and filled with that southern charm and hospitality. (We’re from Jersey and that’s tough to find here).
It truly was the best vacation we’ve ever had.

This was our second stay at a property managed by Jeanette and Shawn (Kiawah Island Getaways). Breathtaking units, perfectly decorated, well-maintained, very clean. Lots of privacy, and the property is also very nice. Jeanette and Shawn are super responsive and very nice. You should have high confidence in any property with which they are associated. If you are looking for a one bedroom five star rental on Kiawah Island, you will absolutely love this place! My wife and I had an amazing seven night stay at ‘The Vista at Shipwatch’. The villa is beautifully decorated with elegant artwork and high end furniture. EVERYTHING that you will need during your stay has been provided. Each room has an amazing floor to ceiling view of the ocean.

Rental that felt like home!
My husband and I loved every moment in this Kiawah rental. Cozy, comfortable, convienent, chic... etc, etc. I’ve been going to Kiawah for years and this was by far the best rental. Beautiful sunrise views right from the comfort of the bed or the cozy accent chairs from huge living room windows. The condo is very clean and included everything we needed for the 3 days. We’ll definitely be staying in a Kiawah Island Getaways rental again!!

Amazing Villa, and Breathaking Ocean View
walking into the villa the night we arrived, seeing the oeanview from the entrance was awesome. the villa was staged perfectly, met every standard for cleanliness, appointments, location, romance, view and getaway that we had. we will return, hopefully sooner than later. villa hosts were exceptional at answering our questions and providing what was needed. Kiawah itself is a new found love and someplace we hope to become very familiar with. love this place!

Same Time Next Year
This is the best rental that we have ever stayed in! From the minute we walked in the door, I wanted to stay for a month not just four nights! The amazing views of the ocean, the balcony off the bedroom, the large glass wall in the living room. No matter where we were in the condo, we had beautiful views of the ocean! Even cooking in the kitchen, making our nightly cocktails, I could see the beautiful ocean! The furnishings, the art, the amazing library of books, the cookware and dishes, even the beautiful Waterford crystal wine glasses give this condo a five star rating! Lastly, the owners of Kiawah Island Getaways took care of all of our needs. Nothing was overlooked! We loved getting to know them and look forward to coming to this condo many times in the future months!

We keep returning
We have stayed at the Vista (Kiawah Island Getaways) many times over the years, and again this year in late August. As usual, it was wonderful. The Vista has a perfect ocean view that includes pelicans flying by the balcony every evening and often deer grazing down below. Ocean access is just down the elevator and onto the boardwalk to the beach. The owners are very helpful, and provide everything you might need for a perfect vacation. The unit is very clean and has everything you will need in the kitchen.

Three glorious viewings
This lovely beachfront condo has a glorious view of the beach and ocean that can be enjoyed from the comfort of an arm chair in the air conditioned living room,, a chair on the balcony, or lying in a comfy bed. It's almost tempting to just stay in the condo and look out, but of course we did not do that! The beach is too good for walking and biking and sitting under an umbrella to do that!
The condo is elegantly appointed and had everything we needed, including a notebook of helpful information about activities and dining recommendations.
We did not want to leave and we want to go back soon!

Perfect Beach Getaway For Two
Superb getaway for us "newly minted empty nesters" experiencing our first getaway as a couple in 28 years after raising our family. The accommodations were unequaled, compared to any resort where we have vacationed the past 28 years. Leave your bedroom sliding door open and fall asleep to the ocean breeze. Awaken every day by the sunrise over the beach - leave the bedroom drape open! Go to Bohicket for dinner at Red's and the sunset over the marsh. Dine casual or nice at so many places. Just a 1/2 drive from Charleston to spend the day touring, shopping and dining. Bike, and walk, on a virtually secluded beach for miles, or through the island on the bike path. Be sure to use the binoculars from your ocean view porch to see porpoises diving in and out of the ocean. You will see a family of deer in the brush right under your porch.

The villa was absolutely perfect! The ocean views from the 4th floor along with the well decorated and comfortable condo made it a great vacation choice. This was the second time we rented this particular villa. The owners make sure that everything you need is there. It's the perfect retreat for any couple.

Great Condo on Kiawah Island! Very comfortable and everything we needed was provided. Owners were very responsive and made the rental process easy. Beach is tranquil and private. Wonderful views from the porch. Unfortunately it rained for most of our short trip, but we still enjoyed our getaway. We hope to return soon!
