Notre chalet est idéalement situé à l'ouest de l'autoroute 101, dans un quartier calme avec peu de circulation, à un pâté de maisons de la plage de Stone Steps à Encinitas. Il est à quelques pas des cafés, des nombreux restaurants locaux allant de la fine cuisine à bistros et les aliments ethniques marche. En plus de ses nombreux restaurants et boutiques, Encinitas est célèbre pour ses spots de surf. Beacons Beach, Swamis et Pontos spots de surf sont à quelques miles. Le Farmers Market local a lieu seulement deux pâtés de maisons.
Notre chalet est mignon, propre et peut accueillir confortablement 1-6 personnes. Il y a 2 chambres, une avec un lit queen et l'autre avec des lits jumeaux superposés. Il y a aussi un grand canapé sectionnel qui est également confortable pour dormir. La salle de bain a été récemment rénovée, plus une douche d'eau chaude à l'extérieur, et un joli patio tropical. Wifi et télévision à écran plat dans le salon. Le garage est rempli de jouets de plage, des planches de bodyboard et chaises de plage. Plusieurs des enfants de la région sont disponibles pour des leçons de surf impromptues.

My 17 year-old son and I stayed for the week. This place was perfect for us. It had everything we needed. The location is ideal. It is only a 3-minute walk to the staircase that leads to the beach. Tons of great restaurants in Encinitas are just a short drive away. Galyn was a great host - communication was great, even turned the AC on for us before arrival. This house would be perfect for a couple's trip or a family with a couple of young children. Highly recommend!

This property is everything you could hope for if you are looking to escape the fast-paced grind and reconnect with nature, your family, and yourself. The front yard is an inviting oasis that greats you with sunny plants and ample space. The house provides all the creature comforts, with large rooms, spacious living areas, and a nicely appointed kitchen. The host provides everything you could need, even things you didn't even consider, like bikes, boogie boards and umbrellas. As great as the house is, the major draw for us was the very short walk to the Stone steps and the beach. We barely used our car as the neighborhood was walkable and peaceful and offered shops, restaurants, and tons of coffee options. We were so taken we are planning to return next summer for a longer stretch. I don't want to say too much more, or this little gem might not be available!

This property was perfect for our visit. Because we were arriving after dark, the host left lights on for us and provided info on activities that were tailored to us. Dog food and water bowls were provided, as well as a dog bed. The yard was perfect for enjoying the weather and was safe for our dog. The cottage furnishings were comfortable. Highly recommend!

The cottage is very well equipped, comfy beds, was very clean, and had everything you need to cook, and a nice family room area. Located in a very quite, nice neighborhood and walking distance to some nice restuarants and coffee houses. Overall a very nice place for a beach town getaway!! Oh and the cottage works well for dogs with a nice patio/backyard that is fully enclosed so you can allow your pups to roam a bit.

My mom, sister and I stayed at Galyns house for my moms birthday. We loved it! We felt so at home in this cozy house. The location is amazing- 5 minute walk to the beach, 15 minute walk to 2 other beaches, and a short walk into town. Encinitas is a sweet little surf town, and we felt so comfy being here! Galyn was in touch and very kind. We’re looking forward to coming back. We loved it so much we even might make regular trips to the beach house.

We loved staying at Gayln's house. It was a perfect location in Encinitas. We were able to walk to the farmer's market, many nearby restaurants and businesses, and the beach. Beacons, Stonesteps, and D Street/Moonlight Beach are all very close by for those who want to surf. The property was very dog friendly. Gayln was also very kind and welcoming to us and our sheltie. It can be hard to find a place to travel with a dog, so we really appreciated the hospitality. The neighborhood felt quiet, especially at night. The kitchen was stocked with enough basics to make simple meals, but if you don't want to cook, you have your choice of food within walking distance. There were also laundry machines available, which is a big plus on longer trips. We will definitely return to this cute house!

Awesome location to go to the beaches and into town. The place is nicely furnished and has a big outdoor area to hang out, plus an essential outdoor shower to rinse sand off before entering the house. Surfboard and bikes to borrow made this a super vacation. Thanks!

My wife and I and our two corgis loved our stay in this cozy beach cottage in Encinitas. The cottage is small, but there are two excellent outdoor spaces which greatly expand the amount of room to relax in. We ate every meal outside in the front enclosed outdoor space. The doggies loved the yard as well.
The owner is friendly and readily available if you run into any problems.
The location is perfect. It is less than a 5 minute walk to Stonesteps beach and a short bicycle ride to numerous restaurants and shops. We stayed for a month and are already planning our next trip here.

Galyn's house is nothing fancy, but it has most everything you need and most of all, SoCal's perfect beach location.

This lovely, secluded cottage has two courtyards and plenty of privacy. The cottage was perfect for the two of us plus our dog. It’s located in a beautiful neighborhood with multiple access areas to view sunsets within a few blocks of us as well as an easy walk to restaurants. We stayed for one week and should have stayed longer. Highly recommend!

If you love Encinitas and the beach, this is your place. The house is in a quiet neighborhood and close to the beach. Three fifty-something friends who like to walk stayed here and it was the perfect location for us. Just bring your own bath soap and shampoo - that was the only “negative.”

This beach cottage is in an amazing location in Encinitas. It had everything we needed to enjoy a Thanksgiving meal, sunsets, and just an overall wonderful visit. The owners were wonderful as well! We’ll definitely return!

My family of four had such a wonderful time at this home! We had everything we needed for a great little beach escape, the home was the perfect size as our boys shared a room. We were close to grocery store and were able to prepare our meals at the house easily with everything provided. The strip along 101 has such great cafes and stores to explore as well. They yard was so lovely and peaceful (I managed to actually read my whole book relaxing in the mornings and evenings). Loved the proximity to the beach (walking distance for a good walking beach) but would recommend moonlight beach for swimming and beach play as the beach is much wider than at stonesteps.
I would recommend buying water as the fridge filter doesn’t have a waterline hook up and there is not a Brita pitcher or similar. We really loved our time here.

Perfect location within walking distance to restaurants & beaches. Excellent communication from hosts and a comfortable, well provisioned house made for a very enjoyable stay.

We had a quick, last-minute, long weekend to the San Diego area with our 9-year old son. Legoland one day, beaches one day, and a quick Tijuana trip another day. Admittedly we didn't spend too much idle time there and didn't use the kitchen except for some spoons for ice cream we had Doordashed from down the street.
Property was simply but nicely furnished (i.e. comfortable large couch, comfortable bed, sturdy chairs, nice sheets/towels, bodyboards, bikes, etc.) and was much appreciated. Lots of local/walkable dining options for a short trip.
All the communication and processes were smooth. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again in the future and hope to be able to spend more time at the table under the lights!

Cute!
Cute, clean and simple little house in the perfect location! We were able to walk or bike pretty much anywhere - lots of great restaurants and beaches nearby. Loved my morning runs through the neighborhood. The patio was a nice place to kick back and relax and the bed was very comfortable. Having the bikes and washer/dryer available was a plus. We’d definitely stay again!

Quiet beach getaway
My wife and I had a fun visit with our two adult children at the beach house. The secluded fenced yard with two sitting options front and back was perfect for us and our dog. Stonesteps Beach and a few shops and restaurants were within easy walking distance and downtown Encinitas was nearby. The house was comfortable, and check in couldn’t have been easier. The neighborhood was quiet. We’d definitely stay again.

Fantastic family trip!
We adored our stay at this property with our two young children. The outdoor spaces are fenced in and the little ones could run around while we relaxed and enjoyed the sunshine. The location was fantastic with several nearby beaches with facilities and a beach within walking distance. I didn’t want to leave! We would definitely stay here again.

Gem of a cottage tucked away in Leucadia neighborhood seconds from the beach!
Stayed here for 2.5 weeks with my girlfriend while we house hunted in the area and almost wanted to stay here for good! Such a comfortable and pleasant little house super close to everything in the area. The property also had much more private outdoor space than anticipated and even an outdoor shower which was amazing after a surf at Beacons! Galyn was also an incredible host and very attentive to any questions we had (he also even helped out with our house search)! Great bikes and surfboards also available for use. A 5+ star stay!

Galyn is wonderful. Very communicative - all needs met. Wonderful neighborhood. Close to the beach and great coffee at Pannikin. The bunk beds are great to give kids their own space.

Amazing Encinitas Home
We always look forward to our Encinitas trips and this property is a huge part of that. Perfectly situated near Leucadia, the beach, and downtown Encinitas. The property is always clean and well stocked and is pet friendly. Not to mention the owner lives nearby and is always attentive to guests needs.

The property and location were ideal! The host gave us lots of helpful information about the area.
We enjoyed staying here near the beach and the outside patio was perfect. We also liked using the outdoor shower. Never did use the inside shower. We had beautiful weather so we did miss having air conditioning, although that would not stop us from renting again.

All around great place to stay in Encinitas
This cute cottage was the perfect vacation rental for our family with two kids (3 and 5). When we weren't playing at the nearby beach (within walking distance!), we were enjoying the amenities of the house. Galyn was very helpful and considerate. We'll be back!

Cozy apartment steps from the beach
We had a great stay for a week - prime features are just the short walk to the Stones Steps beach and great little outdoor patio. Comes equipped with beach chairs, boogie boards and sand toys which we used almost everyday. Also beach cruisers! It was pretty hot the week we were there but there were extra fans in the garage. The kitchen could use some updates (a dishwasher and a new toaster) but we had a comfortable stay.

Great property and property manager
This was the ideal location for the three of us. Located walking distance to the beach and close to a lot of coffee shops and eateries. The property manager was super responsive to questions and any issues. Thoroughly enjoyed staying here and having a responsive owner.
