We appreciated having a dedicated bedroom for mom and dad and bunk beds for the kids. We liked the full kitchen and dishwasher, as well as the comfortable space to relax in. The pool area was decent too.

When we entered the unit, there was a wet spot/water on the floor in the hallway by the bunk beds. Also, parts of the window framing in the unit - adjacent to the balcony doors - were left unfinished. And the hot tub in the pool area was cold.

Locking gate into the parking lot added security. The balcony (barely) had a view of the ocean. The kitchen came in handy. The room was clean. The apartment had extra towels, kitchen utensils, dishes, and supplies.

Disrepair. The facility seemed like it was under construction. Serious issues inside and outside of the room. Exposed insulation, 4th floor balcony railings secured with only plastic zip ties. Not appealing. Extremely high cost once all the fees and taxes are added to the rate. Far too expensive. I've stayed in beachfront, affordable apartments many times in the US and Europe and this one was neither "beachfront" or reasonably priced. For the cost of that "cleaning fee" someone should come to my house and clean up after us for a week. Seems like a lot of FL hotels are doing that now - I'll be staying home next time or vacationing somewhere else until they change the fees and the outrageous taxes.

I didn't like anything because after traveling 2 days by car we were told ONE hour before arriving that the property we paid for over 8 months ago was not going to be ready due to hurricane damage from a year ago!!

This condo should have NEVER even been available to rent! Being told 1 hour before check in time that the property is not going to be available is unacceptable! First vacation to the beach for my children was ruined! Myself, my two children, my friend and her daughter traveled two days by car and had no where to stay because someone rented a condo that was NOT ready!

The value of the location was excellent based on the cost and the distance to the beach, which was less than three minutes by foot. The area was quieter than Pensacola Beach, which has much more tourist traffic, and the only time we heard any neighbors was when we were outside. The pool was excellent, and the showers outside the pool enclosure were much appreciated for washing off after returning from the beach.

We had two issues with the property: the garbage disposal would not work at all; and the drier gave out on us the night before we left. We called in the disposal issue midweek, but we never heard anything back from Vacaso and we did not have any repair workers show up to fix the problem. The drier went out the night before we left, and when I checked the lint screen and vent inside the drier, it was apparent that the drier was clogged with lint and sand, potentially causing it to overheat. I have to say that neither of these issues really put a damper on the experience, and we would rent in this area again.

I loved the detail there was with the towels. We felt very welcomed and loved where our apartment was located. I wasn’t expecting such a good time here. The place is very nice and clean.
