We all thoroughly enjoyed staying in the property. It was clean, spacious, well-appointed with high quality dinnerware, silverware, drinking glasses, cookware, etc.
Every room was tastefully decorated. The stoneware in the showers were beautiful. We completely enjoyed the condo and hope to return there in the near future.

After staying in two other excellent 5 star VRBOs (at similar pricing) on this trip we were very disappointed in the overall condition and cleanliness of this unit. Pictures on VRBO are very old and heavily filtered, almost to the point of attempting to deceive. The property has been used and abused for many years and it shows. They turn off the air conditioning when not rented so it smells like mildew for the first two days. Everything was dirty from the kitchen backsplash to the showers, sinks, and microwave. The cabinet handles were filthy and rusting, and the floors and baseboards were so dusty it was stuck on. It appeared that the host / owner did the very minimum upkeep on the property. I would not recommend this unit to anyone that appreciates a clean living space. Other than the location to the ocean and shops on Front street there is nothing that this unit has to offer. very old and dated.

This 4 bedroom oceanfront property made our family vacation FABULOUS!!!The four couples who stayed here had an AMAZING time from BBQing to surfing to enjoying the stunning sunsets on the ocean waves!Was also wonderful to have tennis and pickleball courts on the grounds.

The rental unit was exactly as advertised, and provided the perfect location for our family vacation on Maui. The location was in a quite, family oriented area, yet within walking distance to the huddle and bustle of Front Street in Lahaina.
The unit itself was modern, clean, and provided all the necessities and accessories need to make our stay comfortable and extremely enjoyable. We unanimously agreed, we’d all come back for our next stay if the opportunity to rent this unit again was available.
Thank you very much for your hospitality, it added immensely to our overall experience, and we are truly grateful for everything.

We stayed here with my parents, in-laws, and two young children. It was perfect. The unit is easily big enough to comfortably handle a large family. We loved having our meals on the large lanai overlooking the ocean. The property is beautiful with swimming pools for kids and parents. The immediate property of the unit has brought us back already as it faces out onto a large lawn then directly out to a sand beach and the ocean with perfect surfing waves. It is walking distance to Lahaina for meals, drinks or shave ice and an easy drive to anywhere else in the island. We have every intention of returning.

We stayed at this home with our 2 kids under 5 and our friends with their 2 kids under 5. It was a fun, safe, clean and comfortable home with plenty of on property amenities.
The house was fully stocked with everything we needed and was super close to the main attractions downtown.
We had a small issue with the AC but the property management team was super responsive and took care of it immediately.

Absolutely satisfied with our stay. I was nervous because we don't typically spend this much on our accommodations, but this was a special occasion for us. It was an amazing experience, would do it again and highly recommend. Being to walk outside to watch the ocean and see whales is fantastic. Nice longboard break right in front. There was no sandy beach, which I knew from other reviews, but there is one not too far away. Just bring water shoes to avoid cuts on feet from rocks and sea urchins. The place itself has everything you need, we were seven adults and had plenty of room. Literally cannot think of one negative. If you can afford it, do it! We all agreed that this place is so much better than staying in a large hotel resort, where you'd have to take an elevator and walk a ways just to be near the pool or ocean, vs walking 50 feet across a beautiful grassy area, which you will do dozens of times per day!

We loved this property and hope to return. The ocean is right outside with sunset viewing and breeching wales. No beach but towels and chairs were provided and we explored the local beaches. The kitchen was well appointed for cooking. Everyone was spread out in the 4 bedrooms. Thank you for everything!

The house was well equipped and perfect for seven people. We particularly appreciated having chairs to take to the beach! We would definitely come back!

Having stayed at Puamana many times before, 9-1 is probably the finest unit we have ever rented. It is ideally located and perfectly equipped and furnished. We had a problem with the dishwasher, but Dave and the APVR team repaired it as soon as they could.

9-1 was a perfect location for our families visit to Lahaina. The property was a beautiful location steps away from the water. We enjoyed the sunsets every night and sitting on the lanai. The house itself had everything we needed!

My husband and I, along with our three adult children and their significant others, spent seven glorious days in this beautiful locale. The condo was airy, spacious and perfectly appointed for our needs. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils. We cooked and/or grilled meals daily, and dined outdoors. The sunrise and sunset view from the back patio was gorgeous!. The beach access directly in front was something we enjoyed every day. We also utilized the tennis courts and the ocean front pool. I highly recommend!

Our three nights in this beautiful home were absolutely spectacular. The location is ideal, the setting and view is gorgeous, the home is comfortable and well appointed and it was extremely peaceful.
My only complaint is that the community pool, which overlooks the beautiful ocean, is a quiet pool. We were whispering amongst ourselves to keep from disturbing others. I would recommend that since this is the nicest pool location, the HOA make one of the other two pools the quiet pool and allow guests to enjoy the amazing oceanfront pool without having to whisper.
That said, we can't wait to return to this island paradise!

A perfect location and floor plan for us!
We stayed for 4 nights, but wish it were longer. Beach out the back door but had to go down a few rock steps to get there. Great grassy area between the condo and beach.
The floor plan was perfect for the 8 of us- 2 young kids and their parents in the hallway bedrooms and the other two couples in the corner bedrooms. The AC worked well but the rooms were uneven- we were cold and the parents of the young kids in the front of the house bedroom were warm.
We used the Kuerig coffee maker - they have a regular coffee maker also. Very well supplied.
Thank you for a wonderful retreat.

Downtown Lahaina rental
Property was clean and well maintained, loved that there were king beds in most of the rooms. Beautiful view of the beach it was amazing listening to the surf from the patio. Very close to Front St and all of the Lahaina shops and dining.

Amazing home and perfect location for a diverse family vacation. So much to do and explore nearby, but also great for those who aren’t able, due to small children. It was a wonderful place for my family to gather and experience all that Maui has to offer at different levels. Definitely an enjoyable experience.

Couldn't be happier!
The unit was clean and well supplied. We loved having 4 bedroom and 3 bathrooms, as well as all the amenities. The kitchen was great for our group and we made good use of it and the propane grill on the lovely patio. The outside shower was a huge plus after our ocean swims.
Loved the well maintained lawn outside our back slider, as well as the quick access to the beach. The security of the property was a deciding factor in choosing this property over others, and Lahaina was only a two minute drive from home.
We also made use of the 'kid's pool" and the "quiet pool" overlooking the ocean. The clubhouse was also very nice and well maintained.
Our hosts were quick to respond to an issue we had with the air conditioning, and they made good in the end. Our entire group LOVED the stay and we'd recommend this place highly.
We hope to return someday soon!
