The located and views of this home are TOP TIER! Phenomenal beach access, with all of the equipment and toys you need to enjoy days in the ocean. Literally feet away from an excellent point break in the bay. Wonderful wonderful wonderful! The home is meticulously cleaned with plenty of space for a small group of friends or family to not be on top of each other. Beautiful neighborhood as well! I wasn’t expecting the live in guest upstairs but rhea was open and welcoming as long as we kept the music at a low level. Don’t come expecting to play loud beach music because Rhea will shut that down fast! Lol Dennis was excellent in terms of communication and contact. As were the neighbors he listed as additional contacts. I really enjoyed my time at the house and loved the natural sound track of the Pacific Ocean crashing into the shore every night. Beautiful!

Lovely, well-equipped property right on the beach. Incredibly relaxing. We reveled in the cool breezes and enjoyed watching the pods of dolphins and the surfers swimming right offshore. The property is well set up for family use, including cooking, dining, and conversation. Great California beachy vibe.

We were overwhelmed with the beauty of this home and the generosity of our hosts. Every aspect was exactly as described. There is something for EVERYONE at this VRBO; our party's ages ranged from 23 to 91. Absolutely nothing lacking in this home. Woke up in the morning to the most gorgeous ocean view - we enjoyed our coffee while watching porpoises and pelicans from our deck. Home sits on a beautiful calm beach that is perfect for relaxation, freebie and football throwing. We went to sleep listening to the ocean waves. Home is spacious, nicely furnished with a great kitchen and well stocked. It was the most memorable getaway ever for our family gathering. Everyone had an amazing time. Takes too long to say all the wonderful feelings I have about our time in Malibu! It was as if we were at home. We had all the needed with the bonus of the ocean, the family pictures, the fabulous art work to enjoy. As one of my sisters said: “this house will go down in our history book as one of the best places we’ve ever been privileged to stay!

We had a lovely time. Beautiful ocean views from every level. Comfortable home. A bit remote for us, but we don’t know the area. Definitely need a car for everything. Hosts were extremely lovely and attentive.

This property was absolutely as advertised. From the breathtaking views of the Pacific, to the immaculate condition of the home, we had a fantastic time. There were eight of us, with four children ranging in age is from 10 to 15. They had a wonderful time playing on the beach, kayaking and paddle boarding. The homeowner was amazing in all of his communication and made us feel at home. We would definitely come to this home again. Highly recommended!

We loved our stay at Dennis’s beautiful home in Malibu. We all wished we could have stayed longer. The location is fantastic, the sound of the ocean waves is so relaxing, and then house is very comfortable.

The home was everything we hoped for and more. We have stayed in many places and this home was the most remarkable. This home tells a story and leaves room for you to tell yours. This home’s story is one of subtle luxury and meaningful travels - both of these ideas inspired our trip. The owners were easy to communicate with, responsive, and reasonable. The dolphins greeting us upon sunrise each morning were a bonus!

Our family regularly rents homes on VRBO, but this was the most beautiful location of them all. It is right on the ocean, walking distance from Malibu amenities. The home is fully stocked for cooking and ocean activities. There was plenty of room for two families to stay and reconnect. Dennis and Leah were wonderful hosts. And the property managers were nearby if we needed anything. Book immediately if you are lucky enough to find this home available.

Big family event to celebrate a graduation. Dennis made us feel very welcome. The views and spot are just perfect. Wonderful hours were spent on the decks, watching the surfers and waves. Lots of space to visit and play games.

I cannot imagine a more perfect location than this home. Beachfront. Sand no matter the tide. This little stretch of beach is protected by wind. Kind neighbors. A very well loved and cared for home. And Dennis and Leah could not possibly be more kind, straightforward in all communication, and just overall ideal hosts. My family stayed here for 6 weeks Feb-March 2021 and never wanted to leave. I could not recommended this place more highly, especially for families with young kids.

The Seider home is just perfect for a family beach getaway. We loved the easy access to the the private beach downstairs and the comfortable home. Dennis was very easy to communicate with and very accommodating. We’d certainly stay there again and recommend the home to other families and guests!

Okay, so full disclosure here, I am the type of person who will do a ton of research on any given topic or purchase. I read reviews (thanks to all of you who take the time) but rarely feel compelled to add my two cents. However, after having recently stayed at this amazing home in Malibu, I had to weigh in. As others have pointed out, the location, ample parking on a quiet street and the amenities inside and out all make this a great place. The communication with the homeowners, Dennis and Leah, couldn’t have been easier. They have a very detailed primer about the house that covers just about everything. They answered all our additional questions ahead of time and followed up to make sure all was going well. In addition, they have a property manager nearby who was able to assist with checking in and out. In fact, everyone in the neighborhood was super friendly. The beach by the way is especially amazing because there is still useable sandy area during high tide unlike other rentals. Our adult kids loved all the available water toys to try out. And who doesn’t like a beach shower with hot and cold running water! We came to have a mini family reunion just ahead of a relative's wedding nearby. The Seider’s even recommended an awesome sitter. While everyone in the family raved about the house and its location right on the water, our grandkids particularly loved the loft in the 2nd master bedroom that was roomy enough for all 3 of them. The added bonus was that freed up more beds. What I think we liked best about the house though, was the fact that it is a home. The Seider’s raised their children here and while they obviously don’t live here full time anymore, it clearly is still home for them at times during the year as evidenced by the furnishings, family mementos, books, games, etc. We also cooked more than a few meals and once acquainted with the supplies in the kitchen and pantry, I can’t think of anything that was lacking. You will have to buy your own perishable groceries of course, but there are a number of supermarkets as well as gas stations and drugstores within close driving range. And a bonus is that Highway 1 is accessible going north & south, so no backtracking. So whether you want to host a family reunion, explore Malibu and the surrounding area, or just chill out at the beach, this place has it all. Couldn’t have been happier and thank you again Dennis and Leah for allowing us to share your Malibu oasis!

The Seider house provides a perfect family beach getaway. The house itself and the location right on our he beach combines for a wonderful experience.

We LOVED our week here. The house is comfortable and roomy on one of the best beaches in Malibu. Check in was easy and owners totally responsive. We rent each summer in Malibu and my whole family agrees this was our favorite house by far!

This house is amazing, and located in such a great place in Malibu. Close to the Pier and easy to get around. Check in was easy and the house was clean and beautiful. It's much bigger than pictures make it seem as is the deck. Our family had such a great stay at Dennis and Leah's place! Thanks for the memories!

Dennis and Leah have a truly amazing and very special home in the Latigo Cove area of Malibu. The home is right on the ocean with beach front access to a virtually private beach. The sunrises every morning and sunsets every evening were breathtaking - photos don't do them justice. The home holds a large group really easily, though I wouldn't recommend more than 10 people if you are not a very close group as a few of the beds are quite small. The kitchen is perfect and has everything that you need if you decide to cook all of your meals in the house. There are kayaks, paddle boards, surfboards and many beach activities available, so you don't have to go out and rent anything. Dennis was so kind to walk us through the home on the day of check-in. He and his family have clearly put a lot of love into the place and it shows. We had zero complaints/issues with the home and our stay. I will definitely be staying here again the next time I'm looking for a beach escape in Malibu. Thank you Dennis and Leah for a wonderful long weekend!

We loved staying at this house. It's right on the water, the waves are right out the window (and just below the deck), and the beach is wonderful. The house is great, lots of room and very nicely appointed inside. The decks are fantastic, both on the main level and off the upstairs bedrooms. The beach is easy to get down to and really nice. The hosts are great, easy to work with and thoughtful. Very easy access to dining options and nice sights nearby. Close to LAX, and all that LA has to offer, but far away from the crowds. We would definitely stay here again.

To have the Beach right out your back door and hear the ocean waves splash over the rocks, feel the breeze off the water and the sand under your feet, watch the birds and discover swimming dolphins or sting rays is exciting! This Beachfront Home has it all, along with the opportunity to be as active as you want: kayaking, paddle boarding, boogie boarding, surfing, or beach combing. The house is spacious, artistically furnished and fully equipped with all you would need to cook, sleep, lounge, read, play games or pull out the beach toys. The house has several intimate spaces on the decks, living rooms and bedrooms to inspire and refresh anyone. There are places to hike close by, local historic places to explore and, lots of choices to eat out or purchase the fixings for a great bar-b-que or picnic. We came away from our 9 day visit relaxed and refreshed and would return in a heartbeat. Wonderful host and hostess, providing great info and it was easy to contact them for anything we needed. TCB
