Fabulous five bedroom Malibu beach house on a dry private beach

Avec des escaliers privés vers votre propre plage de sable sèche dans une crique avec surf, baignade et pêche, dans une rue sans issue, cette maison confortable a tout pour faire de votre séjour l'un de vos meilleurs souvenirs de vacances. Il y a une nouvelle cuisine gastronomique, une grande salle, une salle à manger avec des sièges pour 10 personnes, une tanière et deux chambres principales, toutes sur l'eau. Les chambres au bord de l'eau ont chacune des baies vitrées avec une vue spectaculaire sur l'océan et chacune a sa propre terrasse.

Le mobilier est vaste et confortable, y compris des sièges et des bancs faits à la main, des antiquités et des beaux-arts. Il y a des lucarnes dans les couloirs et les salles de bain. Il y a des cheminées dans le salon, la tanière et la chambre principale. Il y a une douche d'eau chaude directement sur la plage. C'est super pour les familles avec enfants.

Sur la crique isolée de Latigo, loin de la Pacific Coast Highway, l'océan est rempli d'oiseaux, de marsouins et de baleines incroyables. Il y a une bonne pause surf, un canal de natation pour enfants et des marées au point. C'est dans une rue calme sans issue, ce qui le rend parfait pour la baignade, la navigation de plaisance, la pêche, le surf ou tout simplement pour se détendre. Les kayaks (si vous savez comment) sont inclus. Faites une excellente randonnée dans le parc d'État de Solstice jusqu'à la cascade de Corral Canyon ou promenez-vous le long de la plage à marée basse jusqu'à Paradise Cove et son Beach Cafe souvent photographié et son bar local. Nous sommes à seulement trois kilomètres de Pepperdine, du Civic Center et de la célèbre colonie de Malibu, de Surfrider Beach et du Pier.

This property instantly immersed us in the very best Malibu has to offer. A truly, one of a kind location on a gorgeous, quiet (feels almost private) beach, dry even at high tide. Waves crashing and dolphins playing right in front of the house. A fun, surfing point break right off the beach. Pace of life here immediately slows down, yet Malibu Colony with all its great amenities, restaurants and stores only 8 minutes away. The house was comfortable and well equipped; very much the owners' beloved home with their personal effects and memories shared trustingly and openly with their guests. The owners were easy to contact, very welcoming and responsive. Highly recommended for a family holiday in great comfort, with a truly privileged location. Having previously lived in Los Angeles, we returned with our family of six to experience the Malibu way of life and this really delivered.

Everything about this Malibu home is so so lovely.. the location and beach are outstanding, the home is comfortable and beautiful. And the hosts were extremely accommodating! Just perfect.

They property was charming and warm, we felt like we were part of their family. Coffee and cocktails overlooking the Pacific, walking for miles along the shoreline, family game night and simply relaxing were our goals and wow! did we score. Thank you.

Dennis and Leah were so thoughtful and generous with their time and efforts even before our stay that we knew we'd made the right choice with this home! We brought our large family from the East Coast, and our in-laws from Canada, for some much needed reunion time and R&R. The location is absolutely stunning and the naturescapes are truly second to none. The gorgeous bird formations, busy sea life, and even whale sightings made it unforgettable! For those unfamiliar with Malibu beaches, it’s rare to find a home that affords so much ‘dry beach’ for walking, playing, and picnicking, another major bonus with this rental. Inside, the home is wonderfully spacious and has a thoughtful and rustic charm. There are many areas to spread out and enjoy nature gazing, reading, movies, boardgames, conversations, or music nights (and thank you Dennis and Leah for going way above and beyond to have the new piano delivered in time for our stay!) For outdoor fun, there were copious amounts of towels, beach chairs, toys for the kids, surf boards, and wetsuits for all ages. We would not hesitate for a moment to rent this amazing property again, and in fact, we will be recommending it highly to friends and family alike! Many thanks again Dennis and Leah, our memories at your home will last a lifetime!"

This property was advertised as a Private Property on a Private Street with a Private Beach. The HOA for the condos across the “Private Street” was able to secure this “Private Beach” for PUBLIC access 24 hours a day through regulations of the CA Coastal Commission. For this property, that means there is approximately 5 ft of Private Beach in front of the property during high tide and approximately 30 ft of Private Beach in front of the property during low tide. ANY ONE can have beach access 24 hrs/day as long as they do not walk on this property within the above footage. This is not enforced by anyone. The property owner/renter has to constantly run trespassers off the property. We had to run trespassers off every day we were there. Since we are senior citizens, that was not an easy thing to, nor was it pleasant. We called the property owner about this security issue twice. He said he has had to run trespassers off himself. His neighbors said they, too, have to run trespassers off from their properties. After six days of this, we finally had enough and had the property manager (the owner’s neighbor two doors down) call a security service to remove some unsavory characters from this “Private Beach”. This is when the property owner texted us to offer refunding two days of rent if we wanted to leave. Because it was then almost 6:00pm, we told him we could not pack up to leave at that short time, but would certainly want to leave the next morning, which we did. All we have left to say is: BUYER BEWARE. If you value your PRIVACY and your SAFETY, stay far, far away from this property. You’ll be glad you did,

The located and views of this home are TOP TIER! Phenomenal beach access, with all of the equipment and toys you need to enjoy days in the ocean. Literally feet away from an excellent point break in the bay. Wonderful wonderful wonderful! The home is meticulously cleaned with plenty of space for a small group of friends or family to not be on top of each other. Beautiful neighborhood as well! I wasn’t expecting the live in guest upstairs but rhea was open and welcoming as long as we kept the music at a low level. Don’t come expecting to play loud beach music because Rhea will shut that down fast! Lol Dennis was excellent in terms of communication and contact. As were the neighbors he listed as additional contacts. I really enjoyed my time at the house and loved the natural sound track of the Pacific Ocean crashing into the shore every night. Beautiful!
