The owner lied to me. I stopped by the property to get the lay of the land and some big fat jerk claiming to be the head of the owners association turned me away and offered no resolve for my questions. Also, the owner of our condo told me the group ahead of us was departing on Friday and that we could get in Friday after the cleaning people finished. She later changed her tune and Tod me that I misunderstood her, which was a lie

Loved the unit, enjoyed the pool and the spa. Close to many restaurants.

The condo was absolutely beautiful with wonderful views of the beach and sunsets, the property was immaculate when we walked in. Will definitely come back for a return visit.

We absolutely loved our stay at Island Winds.... my brother and his family and another couple also were there at the same time ..... we’ve been to Florida to vacation 7 times and this place was by far our most favorite place .... very clean and nice

We absolutely enjoyed our stay and can't wait to make it back! The property was just as described and I felt like it was even nicer in person. All beds were comfortable. The kitchen was stocked. The beach equipment totally came in handy! You can sit out on the balcony and enjoy your morning coffee with a great view of the beach or overlooking the pool. It was really quiet for a condo. We did not hear any noise at all from any of the other units above or beside. From the Fort Myer airport to the condo, it was an overall very easy, affordable, and comfortable trip! We can't wait to re-book in 2022!

Everything was nice. The pool was heated and the hot tub was hot. The elevator was fast. The condo itself was spacious and well appointed.

Laura and Nathaniel were amazing hosts and their condo was perfect for our family of four. The pool was great, short walk to the beach and everything we needed was there. The only thing that would have been nice would be if there were a cooler that we could have taken down to the beach. They were quick to answer questions and our check in and out process was seamless. Would definitely recommend this property to anyone!

This was our kids' first time to Fort Myers beach, and we're so glad we chose this condo! They had their own room, and my husband and I had the master bedroom. We loved the location of the condo. It is right on the beach with a beautiful view of the sunset. The kitchen was very well equipped and the bathrooms were updated and very nice. The owner was very responsive and provided great check in instructions. We would stay here again.

We had the BEST time at the Island Winds ! Great location , the condo was beautiful and spacious ...the owner was so accommodating with everything ! We will be back in January and already looking forward to it !!

First of all, pictures fraudulent. This is a condo facing street! We're not made aware of construction/major maintanence entire week of stay, besides out of condo 8-5pm on Tues..toxic fumes 3 days from lacquer. Stained carpet....NO TV entire week..and owner would not come multiple times.. No hand soap, dishwasher or washing machine soap, but demanded towels washed, dried and folded prior leaving. Condo is NOT ocean front! 4 foot patio on side. We should receive refund! Harrassment from condo owner! Would never recommend!

It was a great location on the beach. Pool & hot tub were great. Beautiful kitchen. Only thing we didn’t like were the wall to wall carpet in the bathrooms. I would recommend this unit to friends.

We enjoyed a nice two-week stay at this condo. The building is right on a beautiful white sand beach that is easy to walk along, play on, soak up the sun, and enjoy the waves. The unit is on the side of the building such that two lanais overlook the pool and see the ocean toward the front and one lanai looks across the road and toward the bay. There were comfortable chairs and tables on the lanai making them enjoyable, however at times the air conditioner noise was a bit loud and with the beach set-back it was harder to hear the waves. Most of the condo was lovely and relaxing with a very well done beach theme. The kitchen was amazing - one of the most beautiful and functional kitchens I've ever seen or utilized (including my own). The master bedroom and master bath could use a refresh and updated decorating to be more consistent with the rest of the condo. In some regards the condo was well stocked with spices, coffee filters, beach play toys, and other items from other travelers. We were a little disappointed with the limited/lacking quantity of some basic supplies we expected to be there (toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, laundry detergent, dryer sheets, dish soap, hand washing soap in the guest bath). These are items that rental condos we've stayed in before had furnished and that we furnished when we owned a rental condo. During our two-week stay we needed to purchase all of these. There was dishwasher detergent and we knew to bring our own shampoo, conditioner, and shower/bath wash. The location was on the quieter end of the Ft. Myers Beach island. While there were limited restaurants nearby, there was a Publix grocery store within one mile so we ate in quite a bit. We enjoyed nearby Lovers Key State Park and took the Key West boat shuttle also. There is road construction on the main drag which did slow down traffic at times. The owner, Nathan, was very responsive to our communication. We had a slight miscommunication between him, the cleaning lady, and us when we checked out, but Nathan worked with us to resolve this. I would recommend immediately contacting him about any concerns as opposed to expecting the cleaning lady to relay an accurate message. Overall, we would recommend this condo and will consider staying there again. It is a lovely unit, complex, and area overall.

Beautiful sunsets from our balcony and down by the pool. We had a wonderful time relaxing in the mornings and exploring the area in the afternoon’s. The accommodations were wonderful, everything you could possibly need was available, the weather was perfect, we couldn’t have asked for a better time. Thank you.

The location is lovely. Bay on one side, beach on the other. The unit has a beautiful updated kitchen. The rooms are nicely appointed. South end of the island, so not so much traffic and noise. Gorgeous beachfront. Everything you could ask for.

My small family of three stayed at Island Winds 2 yrs ago when the pool was under renovation. We loved it so much that we decided to return this year! And we were not disappointed. This condo unit is clean and beautiful and makes you feel right at home. We spent a lot of time in the wonderful pool and almost as much time at the beach finding sand dollars. We used some of the unit’s beach and pool toys. The unit had about everything we needed- we did leave the next renters a new box of dishwasher detergent and a container of laundry detergent as well as some spare toilet paper rolls (not supplied). But had absolutely no complaints and we are already planning our next trip to Ft Myers Beach at Island Winds! Thank you for sharing your home with us 😊�

Everything went good. The condo is big and has everything we needed. The views from the balconies are awesome. The place was very clean and the internet is fast. Great location and great beach. Would definitely like to come back soon.

Loved the location and everyone was so nice that was staying there will stay again was getting worried about the algae that had started but the news said it was not red tide felt good about that

The location and the overall property was very nice. The on-site fitness center is a plus. We didn’t find the king bed to be comfortable. The remodeled kitchen was very nice and included everything needed. We cooked at home several nights rather than going out. The bathrooms need to be updated...comfort height toilets would be a vast improvement.

Nice and comfortable condo with two bedrooms and two baths. New kitchen and cozy living area. Red tide was not really a big issue for the time we were there. Do not let it scare you away. Really enjoyed our time at Island Winds. Walks on the beach and pool time will certainly put you in a relaxed atmosphere.

Condo 901 was immaculate, great views of both the gulf & bay/marina. The only reason for 4 stars is both bathrooms are in need of some updates. Carpet needs to be removed. Kept tripping over the rugs on top of the carpet, nothing for them to grip.

This was mine and my families first time visiting Ft Myer. I got the chance to earn this trip and it was incredible! The condo itself was beautiful. Equipped with everything needed and large enough for my family (5 of us) to be very comfortable. Great view from the living room balcony to see the ocean every morning while enjoying my coffee. The condo building also has 2 grills available, which we loved. And I enjoyed the gym too. Early May was a perfect time to go, beautiful weather and though it was in the 90's most of the week it still wasn't too hot. We loved the private beach and pool. We found tons of shells, hermit crabs and starfish and we also got to see dolphins up close! The condo also has tons of sand toys, some chairs and a great pop up cabana that my kids really enjoyed. I can't say enough good things about the condo and Ft Myer. It was a very memorable trip and we will for sure be visiting again!

Would I return....yes!

Totally enjoyable stay!

This was our second stay in Fort Myers. Such a beautiful view to wake up to in the master suite and sit on the balcony and drink coffee in the mornings. Such a comfy, clean, and gorgeous place with all the comforts of home. Updated kitchen is fabulous! Our family truly enjoys our stay! We will be back!
