The bed was not the most comfortable but we enjoyed our stay

Awesome location! This property has everything needed for your stay. I am used to sleeping with a window open and the bedroom does not have a window. Also the closets had a lot of seasonal items in storage which meant less places to put our shoes and clothes. Overall a really nice place with easy access to everything in town. Would definitely stay again.

The property was immaculate - clean, well appointed and very comfortable for the two of us! The location was great. Would stay again and highly recommend!

Everything was exactly as advertised, the accommodations were very clean cozy and inviting. We would certainly stay in this home again! Loved the central location to restaurants and stores and the ferry to go to Mackinac Island.

The condo #1 was nice and had a great kitchen area. It was very quiet which was wonderful. Excellent location and great parking. I would definitely stay again, but in #2.
Was disappointed that there was no balcony as listed in description. The existing balcony is located off of #1, so if you don't come with other people that stay in that condo; then you are out of luck. I was hoping to sit outside and have a drink and relax!
The scenic view was primarily the hotel across the street, but you can see a little of the lake.
No windows in the bedroom, so bring a fan if you want some circulation.

Excellent location for a fun vacation
The apartment is clean, new and beautiful. It is located in the heart of St. Ignace, walking distance to most anything. Walk straight across the street to the boardwalk. Several great restaurants nearby. Easy drive to nearby hiking trails and a great base of operations for your vacation in the UP. Absolutely would stay here again.

Scenic view of the great lakes
My husband and I took the lake Michigan circle tour for our 40th wedding anniversary. We enjoyed our overnight in St. Ignace after spending the day on Mackinaw Island. The condo was very homey and loved our stay.

Beautiful place to stay
We really loved our stay at this place. Property Manager were very helpful and responsive. Everything was as explained in the description, in fact it was more beautiful in person. This place is sparkling clean and the location is very pleasant. It is very close to downtown. Anything we needed was close by. We definitely recommend this place for our friends.

Updated condo!
Nice space for my husband and I to getaway. Close to so many sightseeing places that we wanted to go to. Great communication with management. It was quiet also not noisy as some have suggested.

Clean but hot
The property was updated, clean, and overall very nice including a beautiful kitchen. The only problem was that it had a 12,000 BTU air conditioning unit that is not big enough to cool the condo. The condo is an upstair unit and it was ridiculously hot. There was no air in the bedroom and it was very stuffy. I would only consider staying here again in cooler temperatures.

Great place! Great location to catch ferry!
Perfect location to catch the ferry to Mackinac Island and many restaurants within walking distance. The place was even nicer than the pictures. Pretty good view of the water. Overall nice place and would recommend. Super clean as well. Thanks.
Couple things we had trouble with was the internet and the bed was pretty worn out. The internet seemed to connect to the device but it would not download anything. Local Chanel’s on the tv did work well though. The bed also sags in the center so it was pretty tough trying to get a good nights sleep. Sometimes owners don’t know because they don’t sleep in the beds so it’s understandable. All easy fixes and thanks for having us.

Very nice condo with privacy
Nice place to stay. Had trouble recognizing. A sign outside or street address would be nice

Arrived on a Sunday and found this note: "No air conditioning until Tuesday! We apologize for the inconvenience! Fan in Bedroom Closet." Even with the fan, it was stuffy in the apartment with no AC so I had to keep the windows open. Apartment is just off a busy road and noise from cars and trucks was very disruptive at night. Then, on Tuesday without contacting me ahead of time, a contractor entered the apartment and did some major work to install a plywood window frame as an exhaust for a noisy temporary portable unit which sat on top of a table in the dining area. I'm really disappointed with the inconveniences and disruptions that I experienced during my stay and I asked the owners to discount my rate in recognition of the fact that my experience with the property was not 'as advertised'. Here is their callous response: "your request for a discount was declined because the weather was not unbearable and the system was not down for the entirety of your stay". It's pretty clear that the owners of this property put their own needs before the customer and so I'll be choosing a different place to stay in the future. If you decide to rent this property you might get lucky if everything is working and you don't need to deal with the property management, but if something does go wrong, consider yourself warned!!!

Perfect Location
This 1 bedroom condo is in the perfect location. It provides easy access to Starline's Mackinac Island Ferry Terminal that is SOUTH along State Street; a short 7-8 minute walk. Condo is across the street from St. Ignace's Ace Hardware Store, placing it in the center of everything in town, with easy walking access to shops and the boardwalk along the water's edge. You will need a car for grocery runs to Family Fare Supermarket and there is a designated parking spot for the unit. The condo is clean, well-equipped and cozy. The air conditioner worked well (which was nice since the area had unexpectedly high temperatures the week we were there). Unit is professionally managed by North Michigan Vacation Rentals (NMVR) 906-643-9242. They responded to all my emails within 24 hours, and approx 2 days before our scheduled arrival, they provided door code for independent access to the condo.

Spacious, clean and comfortable
Usually I choose properties with more reviews than this one had on VRBO. Glad I took a chance - it was PERFECT for my husband and me (and the guest book shows it's been a rental since at least 2011). We were pleasantly surprised by the size; the pictures are accurate. And it's lovely! The view is mostly of a hotel parking lot, with a glimpse of the lake beyond - but huge windows let in lots of light. Lots of space to cook. Comfortable TV viewing. Fast WiFi. Comfortable bed. Really quiet, at least during our October stay. Excellent location.
I have only two tiny suggestions and one caution. Could use a brighter light source near the couch, for reading. Kitchen knives need sharpening. And if you're sensitive to scent, note that there's lots of air freshener/drawer scent in use.
Again, these are small things. Overall, I highly recommend. In fact, I would consider renting both units for a family getaway.

Wonderful overall with a few small shortcomings!
By and large we couldn't have asked for better! Excellent location, clean, cozy with all the modern conveniences. Property manager met us there as she was prepping the other unit and she was friendly, welcoming and helpful. We had only three concerns. First, a number of electrical outlets appear to have only one live connection of two. Not terrible but inconvenient if you have a number of devices to plug in. I advise you bring a power strip or two. Second, while the kitchen is well-equipped there's no room for the lister to note what small appliances or cooking utensils are present, so my advice is if you think you may need it, bring it. This is not to say the kitchen is lacking, just that it's best not to assume something will be there! Finally, the unit shares a common access hallway with Unit #2, which is fine, HOWEVER i saw nothing in the listing noting that there are two doors from the hallway into this unit; one is the standard "front" door and the other, not mentioned, is in the bedroom. I presume this is to service large families/parties who have rented both units and wish to share the space (which is fine!), but we felt somewhat uneasy with an access door right beside where we sleep. This creates additional problems when the neighboring renters are loud; either the hallway acoustics are excellent or the walls are quite thin as we were woken up several times by loud voices, the neighboring refrigerator's ice crusher and slamming doors.
Overall though we had a wonderful time; the condo is perfect for a couple looking to get away without leaving behind the comforts of home, and St. Ignace is a charming town and a great "jumping off point" for day trips throughout the UP.

Beautiful condo
My husband and I came to the Upper Peninsula between Christmas and New Year (2015) for a little get away. We found this condo on VRBO and thought it looked inviting...and it lived up to its pictures. It's a beautiful condo, clean and well maintained, with a wall of windows overlooking the Straits (and Ace Hardware, but that was Easily overlooked!) The kitchen is gorgeous with granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances. The layout is well thought out, and we liked that there was a stackable washer/dryer in a closet in the bedroom. Nice bathroom as well. My husband slept well on the bed in the bedroom, but I wound up on the couch as it was a bit soft for me. I slept fine on the couch - which also pulls out into a bed. We had a little problem figuring out from the graphic we were sent where the parking was and, as we arrived mid-evening, we just took our best guess and almost got it right! (The parking area is used by other entities as well.) It turned out fine... Good Internet connection and TV connection. We had brought along some DVDs from home, and were glad there was a DVD player in the living room. We did let the landlord know that there seemed to be a leak coming from somewhere near the dishwasher - and they have replied that they've called their maintenance person already, so I'm sure that will be fixed soon. All in all, a really lovely place, and well situated in St. Ignace - close to everything. We'd love to return at some point, and I would recommend it to anyone.
