We enjoyed the property very much. The house was nice and very clean and cozy. We were not as close to the bike activities as we preferred but that was more an issue of timing as closer properties were not available and this was not the fault of the owner here. However that being said, it was a very nice experience. The only fly in the ointment was the access road to the property. For a motorcycle it was very difficult, even borderline impassable due to recent rain and rutting in the road. The owner was able to provide a solution by directing us to a cut through to another road, which was in better shape. There was no washer/dryer which caused some inconvenience but that fault lies with me for not checking prior to rental. Overall, this is a nice property and a nice neighborhood. However, I would caution if you are traveling for bike week and traveling on a bike, then you may wish to examine this property more closely. Otherwise it was a positive experience and the owner was very helpful.

Or stay at Jim's cabin was lovely. Access to the lake was quick and easy, and the outdoor shower was a perfect addition to an already wonderful rental.

What a fantastic getaway! The place itself is so peaceful and made for relaxing. I got the kayaks out and had a great time on the water. Read the notebook they left-- perfect tips for where to kayak, where to hike, where to eat. I slept like a rock and enjoyed the fresh air and the quiet. It really restored my soul! Thanks so much!

Everything went well except I couldn’t get the tv to work very frustrating

This was one of the best vacations my wife and I have taken. The cottage was great. Being across the street from the private beach and the lake made it even better. We completely enjoyed our week's stay. The area was was very peaceful. Sitting on the deck and seeing the water was one of our favorite things. The cottage was very clean and comfortable and we felt right at home. Overall excellent experience.

Property was very clean and checking in was a snap. Cottage is very cozy and comfortable for the family. Lake is right across the lane with private beach. Outdoor and living spaces were large for family to come have dinner. Overall an excellent stay!

Easy, nice owner

While we love the sun and the beach, Newfound lake itself is really our peaceful place. Jim's home always provides that. Lovely location, super nice homeowners and everything you need. Hope we can continue with Jim and Sonya.

We had a blast at the cottage this weekend. It was quiet and was great location to walk down to the beach or down the road to grab last minute grocery items! Loved having kayaks available as well- will definitely be back.

Great rustic cabin… just 100 feet from the lake and very convenient to town. The house was funny equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Our host Jim was very nice and accommodating. He was always available to answer all of our questions at anytime.

We were happy to find a place that offered a short stay option with lake access, Small beach, kayak etc. The cottage is small but packs a lot into one space and the porch areas are nice for water viewing. There are definitely things that could use some more love with small effort to make things nicer like fixing the shower head askew or upgrading the cheap quality sheets or mattresses. But for a relative bargain compared to other options we were happy with our stay.

A nice, clean, “quirky” cottage that is located in an idyllic setting. The cottage is fun and a perfect place to “unplug” and relax. The beautiful lake, mountains and quiet surroundings made our stay something we will remember for a long time!

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin! Enjoyed access to the kayaks, nearby hikes and biking along the west side of the lake, and a visit to Sculpture Rocks and the White Mountains. Great location!

We were in the area for a wedding on the lake. With the help of the Ryans' cottage, we turned the trip into a fun, relaxing, long weekend vacation. Everything about the stay was perfect! There was plenty of space, a full functioning kitchen, and beautiful beachfront access right across the street. We will definitely be back.

The rental process was so easy. The cabin is in a perfect spot with views of the lake and a short walk tot he beach. The cabin itself was clean and tidy! Loved the outdoor shower!! Highly recommended!!

60 year Newfounder! Great cottage, has everything you need. Great location and beautiful beach and view only to be topped off by youngest son proposing to his girl! Best family vacation since boys were little!

The cottage was great. Had everything you needed. 1 and 1/2 was a pleasure to have. Enough beds for all, kitchen was a good size and the living/dining area was a great space for all to come together with plenty of room. The deck with the grill was also great to have and enjoy dinner there with outside table and chairs. Loved it.

We stayed at the cottage during a hot spell in june, the fans were a must, and they cooled the place down quick. We cooked some great breakfasts in the kitchen. Everything we needed was there. The outdoor shower was an awesome way to wake up on the warm mornings! The lake is crystal clear! Great motorcycle rides all around! We were able to make it up to the property my wife and I bought. Again my friends and I thank you guys. You definetly have a gem with that cottage.

It's difficult to top the level of relaxation one reaches after exploring the White Mountains, floating in a clear fresh water lake, and antique-ing to the whine of your spouse about suitcase space. Thanks to a roomy deck and front porch visiting with friends and relatives is comfy. We had everything we needed and more. See you next year!

My husband, daughter and I had a wonderful stay in this cozy cabin.. The cabin was very clean and met our needs perfectly. The cabin sits one row back from the lake, so you have nice lake views from the front room and deck. It is very quiet and the beds were comfortable - although note that you either need to go outside or through another bedroom to get to the room with the double bed.. We loved having access to the lake and kayaks after a day hiking. This cabin is very comfortable for 3-4 people, with one double and two twin beds in two private bedrooms. The other three beds (futon, single and trundle) are in the main living areas.. Wasn't a problem for us at all, but good to know. We would definitely come back!

We were very comfortable in the cottage and loved the outdoor shower and using the kayaks, plus great response from the owners - so considerate and helpful!!
