We had a wonderful stay! The home was perfect for our large family! Great location and communication from host. Will definitely return!

We rented this home for my wedding week and it was the perfect home for what we needed! The girls got to hang by the pool or beach. There was plenty of space for everyone coming and going!

It was a beautiful view and we enjoyed ourselves

The house was spacious and well furnished. Lots of natural light. The short walk across the street to the beach was great for little feet! The dock out back for fishing and crabbing was excellent. We would definitely stay here again.

Awesome experience! The house was in a great location and the property was clean and well stocked. We spent my family Christmas there and we would love to return in the summer to enjoy the outdoor amenities. Only suggestion for the owner would be to try to get rid of the sand spurs. I know that is a NC staple.

We booked the property for a family Thanksgiving getaway. Due to health related issues our Mothers ended up not being able to join us so my husband & I had the house to ourselves. Our daughter & extended family stayed in 208 Emerald which is also a great property. The entire group gathered at Blue Sapphire for our Thanksgiving dinner. The open layout was perfect. While some cooked, others played cards at the dining table, others shot pool & a group planned their Black Friday shopping strategy but we were all in close proximity to each other so that no matter what you were busy doing you were still included in other family members discussions. The house was well stocked with everything we needed. Beach access was an easy walk across the street. For anyone with mobility issues the public access parking lot is just a minute up the street. The location & the house were perfect! Communication with Joyce could not have been better! We look forward to staying here in the future.

Home was clean - with large decks. Has some age to it - older appliances / cabinets / carpet and proximity to road created traffic noise during the day.

I rented this house for a family/bachelorette vacation and it was absolutely perfect. There was so much space for us to spread out throughout the house. The pool was clean and such a nice addition to the beach just a short walk away. The amazing bay views from the balconies were our favorite spot to relax. Management communicated well and we’re super friendly.

Great property with plenty of room. The pool was very nice for the kids. The beach is a manageable walk.

There were 3 families of 5 people each and 9 kids age 4 and under! We had an incredible week and made some everlasting memories! The house worked great for us and absolutely loved having the pool. It was great having dollar general within walking distance. The beach is a little bit of a haul with have so many little kids but worked out having someone go early and setup. Make sure you have a wagon! Thank you for a great stay!

My family and I had a wonderful time staying here! Easily accommodated our three families and we had more sleeping room if needed. Beautiful view of the sound, and a very short (across the street) walk to the ocean.

The house was beautifully appointed with spacious rooms and glorious decks. The view of the sound was a grand asset for porch chats with the family and at-home dinners. The beach was an easy stroll away, but the private pool was a welcome respite from the July beach sun.

This home provided the perfect place for our entire family to vacation at Emerald Isle. Plenty of space to gather and spend time together, while still providing areas to find quiet time to rest if needed. We had a blast and the owner was super helpful the entire time. Great location with access to the sound and a short walk to the beach.

The house was perfect for our family. We had a great time putting together puzzles,playing pool,swimming and of course the ocean. The layout of the house was perfect, would definitely rent again!

Once again, a great stay in a spacious house with an easy walk to the beach. We were able to fish out back & enjoy a quiet neighborhood with easy access, by bike, to shop in town. Really beautiful house with plenty of space for our combined family of eight.

The house was a great size for a big family. We enjoyed sitting on the outside decks. The pool was great for the warm days. The dock was perfect for fishing and the beach was a short walk and never crowded.

We enjoyed our stay at the home. Spacious and comfortable. Second living room was nice for family to spread out. Kitchen is well designed and well equipped. Pool was a very nice feature.

Clean easy roomy

We had a great stay in this immaculate and very spacious home! We only had 2 of our adult children with us, but the house could easily accommodate a large family or 2 smaller families. There is LOADS of closet space (additional hangers would be helpful). There is plenty of room for everyone to have privacy and spread out, including our dogs! They loved sitting out on the porch (baby gates are provided and we used one for the stairway to the pool area to keep them out of trouble). The furnishings were attractive, comfortable and clean, and the kitchen was extremely well equipped. The porches all have wonderful breezes and views, and the pool area is lovely. It was a bit chilly and windy during our visit, so we didn't actually use the pool, but we sat out and enjoyed the area none the less! We had one small issue with a partial power outage during a storm, and maintenance was there with in 30 minutes to address it. Joyce was a great communicator from our very first inquiry. My one suggestion for guests who are not having to think about TSA checks...if you like to cook, bring your own spices and condiments so you don't have to buy everything new. I think salt & pepper were the only spices we were able to find. I'd have happily brought some from home had I known in advance. I don't think we found extra trash bags, aluminium or saran wrap wither. Not a big deal, but would have been nice to have those basics provided. We did come ready with paper towels & toilet tissue as suggested in our contract. Its a quick 3 minute walk to the beach, which is beautiful, flat and wide. We took longs walks with the dogs several times a day. There are lots of great restaurants within 20 - 30 minutes! We loved Island Grill in Atlantic Beach, Rhum Bar / Front Street Grill at Stillwater in Beaufort, and Bahia Beach House in Atlantic Beach. We also got excellent take out from El Zarape in Emerald Isle our first night when we arrived a bit late to think about eating out. One small decor suggestions....towel bars or hooks in the bathrooms would be a great and easy addition, as there really was no place to hang wet towels, as we didn't want to drape them over the wood doors. We loved this house and will definitely stay again if we come back to Emerald Isle!

Absolutely enjoyed our stay with plenty of space for everyone to have privacy and fun family time! The 2nd kitchen area and walk in pantry was a huge plus since we had big meals planned for our week stay. The nice open area on main floor made it nice to spend time while cooking and kids playing pool. Kitchen is a bit limited on cooking supplies but not too hard to make do. Huge closet space was also nice to keep rooms from having suitcases all over. Would absolutely book again!

Family gathered here for Thanksgiving from MO, GA, MD and NC. The kitchen had plenty of room for several cooks plus was well equipped. The house was bright with nice views. The porches were definitely popular to hang out on during the pretty days. Having sleeping areas on 3 different floors let everyone spread out. Very enjoyable time was had by all! Just 2 suggestions, the furniture on main floor was not very comfortable and shows its age. Also apparently the shower heads have a bit of calcium in them so they spray every which way. Those are minor things and wouldn't stop us from renting the house again! Joyce was very prompt in responding any time I contacted her (thank you!).

Outside Pool is beautiful and large enough for the whole family to enjoy. It is not on the Ocean, but so convenient to the Ocean that you can be on the Ocean in minutes just a walk across the road. Place was overall good however some updating tvs, washer and dryer, and furniture. How ever place was clean but found a few bugs, roaches in the house may need to exterminate.
