Beautiful views, well maintained, beautifully decorated, well equipped, very comfortable and clean. There is a large selection of beach items available for use.
Owners are great to work with. It's apparent they take pride in their house by providing everything you need to have a relaxing vacation.

We had an amazing time staying at Sandmann house. The house had everything we needed and more. Perfect location and the sunrise from the crows nest was beautiful. Everyone in my family enjoyed the rest and relaxation this vacation brought. The host was so friendly and answered texts very promptly. We could not have asked for a better host. We look forward to staying in the Sandmann house again!!

The beach house was great. We were steps away from the ocean and at times it felt like we had a private beach. We enjoyed the house and especially appreciated the beach supplies.

We absolutely enjoyed staying here. The house was very clean, the kitchen was fully stocked with pots/pans/dishes/silverware. Everything we needed was there.
The location of this property was amazing both to the beach and other attractions.
Ron also kept in touch with us while we were there. Highly recommend.

We have been staying at this beach house for years and it never disappoints. The house is clean and well kept with many amenities. It is a short walk to the beach which can be viewed while in the porch hammock.

The Sandmann House is in a perfect location one house off the beach which gives you the privacy you desire just steps away from the sand. The house includes all the goodies you need for a fun family trip! We enjoyed volleyball on the beach, relaxing in the hammock on the deck enjoying the ocean breeze and the icy cold air conditioning when the sun wouldn’t quit. 6 kids and 4 adults fit comfortably. This is a great spot to be close to things to do but also enjoy the peace and quiet of the beach. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful time. The house and location was prefect. There was lots of beach toys to use and such a short walk to the beach. Absolutely loved it.

Hammock on lower deck and shade was perfect
Extra fridge was super convenient and all the toys available were so convenient
Only odd thing to us was to wash and dry sheets kept us maybe an hour longer on departure day
That was new for renting to us but overall not a big deal
we had a lot of family in town and this seemed the norm on obx and another family had to make their beds on arrival.. not here

The beautiful home was perfect for our family of 9, ages ranging from 12 and up. There was plenty of indoor and outdoor space, and an easy walk to the beach. The owner was so easy to work with, very informative, and we loved every minute!

Wonderful stay with great views of the ocean. Especially from the crows nest, you can enjoy the calm and beauty of the ocean waves.
The kitchen was very well stocked, furnishings were beautiful, and the location is perfect (we love south nags head). Property clean and well- maintained.
Of course, plenty of restaurants, but we cooked most of our own meals. There were lots of dishes and cookware, but if you like to cook, you may want to pack an extra saucepan because we only found 1 regular sized and 1 small one. (Unless we just missed them which is possible).
Also, there is no hair dryer, so be sure to bring your own. I did not think to check that in the listing because so many places provide them these days. It wasn’t an issue, but just something to be aware of. Other than that, we loved this home and would definitely stay there again and recommend. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

The house was clean and well stocked. The location was great. It was very close to the beach and there was a storage room with everything you could need. I’m very happy we picked this home. We would definitely book here again. Communication with the host was easy and responsive.

Great house! Nicely decorated and comfortably furnished. Very clean and well maintained. Kitchen is well equipped. An added extra is that there is a large selection of beach items (chairs, boogie boards, bikes, cornhole, buckets and shovels, etc.). The owners are very responsive to texts. They have provided everything you need for a wonderful vacation!

We have been staying here for many years, The property is very clean and well maintained. The owners are quick to respond to texts. The house is one house back from the beach. You can view the beach while swinging in the hammock on the deck. Overall, definitely a 5 star experience!

We loved being just steps to the beach! The deck and crow's nest were awesome, we took beautiful sunrise and sunset photos from the crow's nest.
The house was great, very comfortable and clean. The kitchen had everything we could have possibly needed.

We spent a week at this beautiful home on the beach! Beautiful home with the most amazing views! I spent every morning sitting on the crowes nest drinking coffee watching the sun rise. The absolute best spot is in the hammock! Wow! Getting to and from the beach is quick and easy. This home slept 7 people comfortably. The fourth room with the bunk beds is definitely meant more for children. We had everything we needed to make full meals in the home which was very nice. Having an extra fridge in the storage room was very helpful. We loved the outdoor shower for getting all the sand off us after spending time at the beach! We also grilled out a couple times which was great! We highly recommend this beautiful home for a great beach vacation!

We found the property to be ideal for our family. It was a simple floor plan and ocean views from the deck were great. The property included all of the beach amenities that we needed to make the week long stay very enjoyable. The kitchen included all of the things that we needed to cook many of our meals.

The location of this property was spectacular and the listing was accurate. Ron was responsive to our requests and needs and was a wonderful host. Having access to beach chairs, bicycles and beach toys was an extra bonus.

The location and the views are great! It is a 30 second walk to the beach, and there was maybe 3 cars that went down the street while we were there. House was clean and the beds were comfortable. The checkout procedure is a little burdensome as you need to not only wash the bed linens, but start them in the dryer as well. This makes an early get away difficult. Loved our stay, however.

This home was great for my family of 5. The home was clean and had everything we needed. The proximity to the beach is perfect. With an amazing view of the beach from the top deck. My only suggestion would be providing hooks or something to hang bath towels on to dry. One hook per bathroom is not enough when multiple people are sharing one bathroom. A hook on the door or a couple in the bedrooms would be good. That aside, the house was perfect.

I cannot say enough great things about this place! It had everything we needed and more. Beds were very comfortable. Some of our favorite moments at the home:
-waking up every morning and watching the sunrise from the deck. We even saw a huge pod of dolphins one morning!
-Naps in the hammock
-crab hunting at night
- the beach only being a few steps away
- meals on the deck over looking the ocean
-falling asleep at night to the sound of waves

This was the first time we had ever seen the ocean and the view did not disappoint. There really is nothing I could say negative. I chose to just go with the flow and not plan anything and see where the day took us. It was just so peaceful sitting on the deck listening to the waves. The week we were there there was a hurricane out in the ocean so the waves were really large so we couldn’t do much but wade our feet in the waves but it was still amazing. If you see some not so perfect weather in the forecast don’t worry you will still have a great time. I truly hope we can come back to my new happy place next year. I hope you enjoy your vacation as much as we did. Thanks a bunch!

Very nice property, perfect location to sit on the porch and watch the sunrise with my coffee. Quiet except for the lullaby of the ocean. There was a few dust bunnies hiding under the beds, but overall the place was very clean. We will try to rebook this location if and when we come back to the area.

I enjoyed the neighborhood and it's proximity to the beach. Hearing the waves crash at night is exactly what I was looking for.
