The host is very friendly and made a great effort to wait for our late arrival (after 20h). He also gave us many good tips of places to eat. This apartment is not far from the metro Dumo, the main railway station and the historic center so this is the ideal location to go around by walking or using the public transport.

The Wi-Fi and the ac did not work properly

The couple who take care of the property were very friendly and helpful. They made special arrangements to let us have an early check in. The apartment is nice for 2 adults and 2 children to stay. Rooms are clean and provided with lots of facilities. The couple were very responsive. We had some wifi issue and a key issue, we messaged them and they came immediately to help us solve the problem. They also gave us lots of advice on where to see and directions to the train station. The location of the apartment is convenient to many famous places. Overall, we are very satisfied with the stay and grateful for the help offered by our host.

Wifi can be unstable, but that's the problem of the neighbourhood. The neighbourhood might look messy for those who come to Naples for the first time. But after some touring around, we find that it is just what most neighborhood are like.

Spacious. Clean. Quick response from owner when toilet seat broke. Good location close to port, rail station and lots of good restaurants.

The beds were not very comfortable. Our teenagers were in the pull-out bed - but it was a stacked pull-out where one bed stacks on top of another mattress that slides out. All mattresses were quite thin and the springs in them squeaked with every movement. Sketchy part of town because close to port/ rail station.

Fantastic location, very central but still pretty silent given our flat was at the top floor. Good sized apartment, comfortable and it had all the facilities we needed. Marolyn and Gennaro were sweet and helpful and flexible about our check-in time.

It would be a nice bonus if the kitchen had some essentials like salt and sugar.

1st time in Napoli, host was great and apartment very clean with everything you probably need on a city break

although located very convenient for the train etc it is fairly dirty around the back streets

Everything was perfect

The location is near (within 5mins walking) the metro station line 1 Duomo, which is the 2nd stop from Piazza Garibaldi (nearest metro direct from the Napoli centrale train station). the building is looked clean on the outside, not those old kind of building with dirty exterior colour. to access the apartment, there’s a lift access, so no need to carry the heavy luggages via staircase. the owner has kept the facilities working well and clean and secured with shutters at the windows and the door lock with extra locks on top of the key lock. The building has secured access lock before entering. Still I will recommended to bring your valuables with you and not to kept them in the apartment. opposite the building is a small minimarket which we can buy our daily drinking water. Nearby walking distance within 5-8mins walk to the famous Pizza “L'Antica Pizzeria da Michele”. fyi for those interested in the apartment- (information as of 28apr2023) the apartment is a 2 bedroom apartment (1 room with double bed- no problem with that, 1 room with a sofa bed which turn out to be twin bed, which I explained more in the dislike part) with 1 common toilet, a kitchen, with a dining table. there is no living area.

2 dislike areas: No.1 - The slightly inaccurate photo presentation when booking- there is one photo showed in the booking.com during booking with the sofa and a small table. Initially we had not checked in, we will thought that refers to the living area sofa, but it actually refers to the bed of another 1 bedroom. We didn’t expect the sofa was a twin single bed . The owner explained by pulling out the sofa that the sofa was a divan bed. The sofa was placed with 2 single beds, as seen in the picture uploaded in this review. Width of single bed in Italy is considered small, so it may fall off for people who toss and turn every night. Owner needs to have a more detail presentation of the ‘divan’ twin bed mentioned. Plus owner has an another apartment under him, and I think he consolidated all the apartments picture in 1 places which make it hard to see from pictures the one that we have booked. I think owner needs to separate the 2 different apartments pictures so that to avoid surprises for guest who checked in and lessen hassle for them to explained to the guest. No.2- lack of basic amenities provided by the owner. The owner only provide towels, 3 toilet roll and 1 hand soap in the the toilet, 1 small bin at kitchen area. However, we have 4 people living in the space for 3 days. There is no tissue, no dish detergents (though they have the kitchen equipment and tools provided), no bath soap, no bottle opener, no extra rubbish bag to change when the bin is full and no laundry power/detergent though they provide washing machine. The 3 rolls of toilet paper for 4 days 3nights was not enough for 4 person until during the last night stay, we have to bring in our own tissue paper pack to use. We are staying an apartment, at least have to provide enough and basic amenities as mentioned to make guest stay more comfortable.

The location was great, especially for access to both train stations and the port. Line 1 metro just round the corner. The apartment is in a modern, well-cared for block, and is very quiet- a rarity for Naples! A handy corner shop right across the road.

The kitchen was lacking some equipment- a corkscrew, and bottle-opener, which was a bit inconvenient. We used both bedrooms for sleeping so we didn't have a sofa, this would have been nice but didn't impact on our enjoyment. We would definitely stay here again.

The location is excellent . Close to the Old Town. Away from the main road. Quiet to sleep with windows closed. The building is secure and reformed. Genaro's wife checked us in and she was very polite and helpful. Communication was quick and efficient. They were very kind to check us in one hour early as it was raining. The apartment is good size for the area and was clean. Plenty towels and equipped kitchen for the basics. Good water pressure and bright lights. Natural light is scarce. Air-conditioning available for heat/cold. Electric blinds , good for sleeping. Plenty storage.

The sofa in the second bedroom was not comfortable to sleep on for an adult. There was a constant cigarette smoke smell which we could not figure out where it was coming from. Either the vents or the air conditioning itself. It was very bothersome for us and we had to leave windows open as much as weather permitted. It was unseasonally cold unfortunately.

Location for exploring town. Spacious, comfortable apartment.

Position, many wardrobes and closets, fully equipped kitchen so you can cook, size and cosiness of the bedrooms, close to the metro station and Spaccanapoli, clean, elevator. Tutto bene.

The smell in the bathroom in the first day - I guess it was the disinfectant smell, it was like in a state hospital. I would like a reserve in toilet paper. A recommendation would be to put a shower gel and a shampoo for people who do not travel with these. I did not like that the entry hour was fixed, no minute in advance, but it cannot be a complaint, it is just a personal feeling.

Great apartment in central Naples within easy walking distance from the main station. We contacted the host by WhatsApp on our arrival day and they were there to meet us at the agreed time. Its a large property, with plenty of space for our group of 3. I would stay here again if visiting Naples. There is also a small shop opposite the building for essentials such as milk and water etc

Everything was fine, although there wasn't a kettle there. We had taken our own anyway though.

The location is very good for people who want to go by feet to the central part. At the same time is very calm street. The apartment is clean and comfortable for a family. The building itself is new and with video control. The stuff very cooperative and friendly. They recommend very good pizza place. At the same time the famous pizza Michele is just opposite the street.

Nice and spacious apartment well situated just a short walk from metrostation. 10 min. walk from centralstation. Large rooms and plenty of space where you can store your belongings. There is also a washing machine. Good communication with the host. Had a nice stay!

The apartment was very well located in the centre of Naples and close to public transport so an ideal base for exploring the city and surrounds. It was spotlessly clean and had all the amenities for a comfortable stay .

We loved our stay at Gennaro's place. The apartment was very spacious and clean. We had 3 balconies to enjoy the weather and the business of the streets without leaving our apartment. The best part about the apartment was the location, you could enjoy your morning stroll around the streets with all the great food and shopping, rest and have drinks after lunch and head on out onto the streets for dinner. Didn't have to use the public transport or take a taxi even once because we were so close to the city center. Gennaro was the most helpful host and helped to make our stay there as smooth as possible. Can't recommend this place enough! Definitely a good choice to stay here for your Naples holiday.

The property was nice and clean. it was great to have AC, as Italy was very hot when we visited. The location is great as it is a short walk from the station and the city centre. It is also a 5 minute walk from Pizzeria de Micheal which is the most famous pizza place in Naples.The property itself was nicely decorated, and we loved having the balconies outside the rooms. The host was very friendly and he gave us great recommendations of things to do around the city. He also helped us with finding a taxi back to the airport.
