Cute little loft with everything you could possibly need. Very clean and nice I'm definitely going to rent it the next time I visit Salem! Perfect. For 2-3 people. It was just me and my mom and we loved it!!! ❤️

Everything about this place is wonderful. Rustic, authentic New England and very comfortable. It proved to be a quiet get away. Close to many, many historical venues and wonderful scenery. We will return and would encourage others to consider this opportunity. Hosts are great and very helpful.

Visiting salem and family

We had a great time, the apartment had everything we needed and having a washer and dryer was a plus. Host was very helpful, would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here Halloween weekend to visit Salem. The rental is just as described and Michael greeted us upon arrival to let us know he was available should we need anything. Marblehead is a wonderful town and Castle Rock is a must see for a beautiful sunrise!!! Would definitely stay here again!

This place was perfect for what we were needing. We spent most of our time out exploring but it was perfect for coming back and relaxing in the evening. The location is amazing, hosts were responsive and accommodating. Only concern was the shower gets slippery due to lack of texture in tub but the bed was super comfortable. Overall would definitely recommend and would use again if I'm ever in the area!

This was our 4th time staying in Michael and Gail's beautiful apartment. The space is close to Salem, Gloucester, and of course Boston! My husband and I took ubers to and from Salem which was quite convenient. The apartment is spacious, very private, warm and welcoming. We spent our nights in the cozy living room watching streaming TV (Fire stick). The bedroom/bed is very comfortable and temperature is perfect. The bathroom is pink and super cute, also the shower is bigger than one would expect! The kitchen is also the perfect size. We have already booked for next year! See you in 2023!

This rental is conveniently located to explore Marblehead and surrounding areas (like Salem). The unit has convenient parking and is what we would call a "mother-in-law suite" in a quiet neighborhood. It's close enough to restaurants, local beaches, and other local towns to serve as a convenient base for exploring. The owner is very nice and ensured we had access and was available to answer questions. The price is also quite fair for what you get.

We arrived at night so we where not sure which house was number 5. Everything was clean. The bathroom had some rust in it on shelves. The refrigerator was clean but they left condiments that were 2 and 3 years old which should have been disposed of. We just used the fridge to store water bottles. The check in time should be earlier - most places check in time is 2 or 3.Private and quiet place. Close to Salem which is why we chose this location.

We loved it here and we’d stay again! Very nice and quiet location. Owners are wonderful! It is a great central location making it easy for us to visit Salem and historic Marblehead. It also is a very nice short walk to the beach. I hope to stay here again as will recommend to my friends. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

My husband and I booked this property after a long weekend with family in Boston. It was perfect for a couple of low key days. We ate at high end and low end restaurants, enjoyed scenic drives and window shopping and had a pizza at the local beach! Perfect.

The location was convenient for a walk to the beach and short ride to downtown Marblehead. Very quiet location.

Absolutely lovely apartment very clean, cozy and comfortable for 2. Location is great to many areas. Has great walking trail behind the house, close to several beaches, excellent neighborhood and property owner is wonderful. I highly recommend staying and we will be back!

This property was incredible. Between the location’s proximity to various points and cities of interest, to the incredible kindness shown by the hosts, my friend and I loved every moment of our stay. It was very cozy and comfortable, with lots of amenities and privacy. When our car showed some signs of an issue, we reached out to Michael to see if he might know of a good mechanic to see about it, he went above and beyond to help us. He recommended his own mechanic and even contacted him to get us in to see him as soon as possible. We felt like we were staying with family and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We fell in love with the area as well and will most definitely be returning to stay at the propert again in the future.

The place was perfect for me to visit Salem for 2 days. Marblehead itself was lovely as well and I really enjoyed exploring the area. Very clean, quiet and even though the rental is connected to the owner's home, you would never notice, felt completely separate and private. Great communication from the host on where to go/how to access; it's definitely not a carport, but the directions to park between the reflectors make it easy to understand where you're going.

This place is amazing! Close to historic Marblehead, Salem and Gloucester. This space is perfect for two and is very comfortable and private. This is the second time my husband and I have stayed here and we have already booked for next year! Thank you for a great home away from home!

We had a wonderful stay in this quaint unit for the weekend! Perfect location to explore both Marblehead and Salem. The unit had everything we needed and the neighborhood is beautiful. Michael was super nice and greeted us upon arrival, and let us know that we could contact them for anything at anytime during our stay. Definitely recommend!

This was the perfect place and location for our trip to Salem. We will be back!

Where we had to park was quite far away from where we stayed. We were all elderly and one with a cane. Did not realize we would have to climb many steep stairs to get apartment. The apartment was okay, but sofa was hard to pull out and would be harder to put down. The shower was very slippery and needs a rubber mat of some kind. The owner Mike was great and very helpful.

The property was great for one or two people. The owners were next door in case you needed anything, which added peace of mind. The apartment had a lot of charm, was close to everything I needed and was very affordable compared to other places in the area.I brought my bike and was able to save money on parking that way (there are no bike rental places in Marblehead, so you would need to bring your own.) I think it was the best way to see all of the interesting streets in old town. I recommend visiting Preston beach, as it had fewer rocks than Devereaux, but there doesn't seem to be any parking, so you have to walk or bike. If you have time, visit Rockport (1 hr away) the Crane Estate and neighboring beach in Ipswich (the grounds are open after 5 on Wednesdays, but you need to see the house interior before that time.) Plum island also has nice beaches and quaint eateries. In the evening, visit the Marblehead lighthouse for views of the sunset. I wish I had more than three days to visit!

Location, Location, Location!!!Older, well maintained 1 bedroom with beautiful beams across the ceilings.Private entrance, up-stairs over garage. Beautiful hardwood floors, nice lighting/ details and good air-flow w/ ac & fan.The bed was comfortable (the 2nd bed was a pullout couch that was okay for kids but maybe not so good for adults).TV was big and had a great selection of streaming services like Netflix, Amazon Prime, You Tube, etc. (just have to have patience working with the microphone feature and waiting for things to load - don’t give-up!, LoL)We thoroughly enjoyed the service and were able to watch some interesting documentaries - like “My Octopus Teacher”, a recent Taylor Swift behind-the-scenes story, and an animated movie “Vivo” for my younger son.Kitchen had essentials: coffee-maker, microwave & full-size fridge/ freezer. Bathroom was a small older style with pink fixtures - but had nice high ceilings and shower felt spacious due to a unique square tub w/ great shower/ water pressure!It felt like home away from home. The owners were unobtrusive but made us feel welcome with fresh flowers on the table - and by accommodating our last minute need to park a 2nd car on their property (whew!)We had a lovely stay and enjoyed every detail of our lovely Marblehead accommodations - even the little birds chirping outside our windows :)

The apartment is perfect for a weekend getaway. Although we only slept here during a visit to our daughter in Salem, the place has everything you'd need for a longer stay. Very conveniently located and a very reasonable price.
