Nous sommes ravis de partager notre amour pour le lac Gaston et cette belle maison sur mesure sur Poe Creek avec vous et votre famille. Imaginez tout ce que vous avez toujours voulu dans une maison de vacances avec un coucher de soleil à couper le souffle et une vue sur le lac principal! Vous et vos enfants pouvez vous tenir la main et sauter du haut du hangar à bateaux dans une eau profonde de 12 pieds! Obtenez un bronzage dans une chaise longue au-dessus du hangar à bateaux tout en surveillant les enfants pendant qu'ils jouent sur le tapis d'eau ou le trampoline. Savourez une boisson fraîche au bar dans la zone ombragée sous le pont du hangar à bateaux et vous ne croirez pas les photos que vous pourrez prendre du coucher de soleil à couper le souffle et du lac principal du haut du hangar à bateaux. Pendant que vous regardez le coucher du soleil, dégustez des amuse-gueules aux nombreuses tables sur le pont. This was our first time at this property and will not be our last!! Great location and great house that was super clean. Although the pictures are great the actual house is even more spacious and roomy. Plenty of space for our group to settle in together... or apart if desired. The boat house was fantastic and most of our party enjoyed jumping off the second story into the lake waters that were plenty deep for the activity. Being situated at the mouth of this wide cove provides both the cove feeling AND main lake feeling. It was the best of both worlds. The lake toys were provided as stated and allowed for a variety of fun activities. Can't wait to go back!!!

Our group (three families with adult children) thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful lakefront home.
Some of the things we really appreciated:
* There were three coffee makers on the main level and an additional coffee maker in the kitchen on the lower level.
* Plenty of cups, dishes & silverware.
* Lots of pots, pans, utensils.
* All appliances that we used were in good working order.
* Tons of seating, both inside and outside!
* AC did a great job keeping up, except at night. We were there during a particularly hot week and were surprised how cool the home stayed all day.
* Lovely lighting all around the property meant we didn't need to use annoying overhead lights for everything. Perfect soft light lamps abound!
* We never ran out of ice! Seriously - the main level refrigerator & freezer produced a ton of ice, plus the ice maker on the lower level was a great bonus.
* Internet was great, as was cable (watched Olympics at night)
Really minor issues noted:
* Some of the interior door locks (press button locks) wouldn't function. This was most inconvenient on bathroom doors, but also noted it on some of the bedroom doors.
* Fridge on the mail level made a sound like a phone ringing that took us a few days to figure out - you'll only hear it when you open/close the fridge doors and the house is quiet.
* Dock edge cleats installed backwards, which almost caused a pinched finger to two. Just be cautious!
Overall highly recommend! Host was lovely and responsive, also!

One of the best properties we have rented at Lake Gaston. Home has a great layout for friends and family to all have group and private areas to enjoy. Upper deck grill was great. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We really loved staying any the property. The hostees property had plenty of appliances, dishes, silverware , glasses, plates etc for the kitchen. There were plenty of extra bedding. The house was very spacious and comfortable. We also loved the back deck areas. The travel to to get to stores, restaurants were close. We highly recommend this location.

This is a home we have rented year after year, that speaks volume. The layout works for our family, plenty of room to
be together or alone. The additional appliances make cooking for a large group a must. Owners continue to keep it update which is great to see each year. Will be back again.

We had a wonderful time at this house. We were there with 10 family members from 10 to 70s and the house never felt crowded. Great location on the lake. Great communication with owner. I found it a little strange that there were no towels, shampoo or soap in the bathrooms but there was a dollar general down the street and we were able to pick everything we needed down there.
Grilled out one night. Nice new grill. Sat by the fire one night and played all day off the dock on the trampoline and jumped off the two level dock.
I would definitely return.

This house was great. The kids enjoyed all of the amenities and had a blast. Lots of room for big families. Would definitely stay again.

Nice spacious place to stay on the lake. Decorated very well inside but some of the outdoor furniture requires some updating due to normal wear and tear for a rental. Also some of the outside areas require some typical periodic maintenance, such as wooden decking areas have extensive wear (cracking & splintering) from weather and sun which requires improved wood staining surface treatments to eliminate guest safety issue. Reason for suggestion is that one of my groups received a large wood splinter in foot while one other guest tore open based off foot which required trip to local Hospitol for stitches. So be cautious until owner has corrected unless they have already. Once those handful of items are completed, perfect place to stay on the lake.

First- The house was above and beyond the pictures and listing description. The only way to capture the beauty is to see it for yourself. We have been staying at lake houses for several years for summer vacation and everyone agreed this one was the best! The town is very small but there is so much to do we never needed outside entertainment away from the house. Two full kitchens made it easy to prepare meals for our large group. The kitchen is very well stocked. The bedrooms were large and accommodated everyone. The teens loved the room at the very top because it was slightly secluded. The dock was amazing and most of party jumped from the top. A few were to nervous! Lol. The water toys especially the mat and trampoline were the biggest hit! The kids played every day on those. We rented a boat for 2 days and loved tubing on lake Gaston. Fishing was also great every morning and evening. All around an amazing stay in a beautiful house!!

I've been staying here in May every year since 2017. The property is always in great shape and the owners are quick to respond to any questions/issues. Everyone that stays here loves the house, boat dock, and access to kayaks/canoes. There is enough to do in the house if the weather doesn't cooperate (pool table, card table, movies, etc.). We will definitely continue to stay here.

What a fantastic experience and 3-day vacation! Traveled to Lake Gaston with close friends and their children for Easter weekend. The house and communication with owners exceeded our expectations.
For starters, the main level great room was spacious, yet cozy and allowed for all to enjoy memorable group meals. The downstairs living room area provided a fun space for tv watching and games at night. The poker table was a great addition.
The kids and older teens has a blast using the water trampoline— even in the 60 degree rain! All of us relished in the beauty of the lake from the double decker boat house once the rain cleared on day two. The large hot tub, paddle boat, kayak, canoe, paddle board, and fishing rods provided so much fun for all.
We are already talking about heading back to Lake Gaston and this house!

We had a wonderful time at this house for spring break. The house is amazing and extremely clean! The whole family loved the kayaks, canoe and pedal boat. It was great to spend each evening around the fire pit watching the beautiful sunsets. The house is beautiful and Scott was very responsive to our questions. We will definitely be back!

The house was bigger and better than expected from the images. We stayed for a family vacation and loved the space. It offered plenty of room for the whole family to get together and enjoy meals and quality time, while also allowing some private spaces at times. Plenty of things to do at the house, and great places nearby with trails. The neighborhood was quiet and private. Communication with Scott was quick and easy.

Outstanding home and location. Kitchen is well equipped. Many thanks to the owners for the use of kayak's, paddleboards, pool table, hot tub, fire pit, and others. Very comfortable home! The only complaint: the renters before us did not empty trash cans at the boat house and under the deck/porch. I highly recommend!

We had a fantastic vacation at Lake Gaston. The location and house were absolutely beautiful. The house provided a ton of space for large families and dock was a great place to relax and play in the water. The owners were very responsive when needed . As a matter of fact, Scott (the owner) personally came to house to correct an issue with the hot tub to ensure we had use of it for the remainder of the time we were there. Overall it was a terrific experience and we’d highly recommend this place for a relaxing week away.

Why Go Anywhere Else??
This was our very first family vacation and it super exceeded all quest expectations! The open floor plan satisfied the likes of those who wanted to entertain! Yet the tucked away areas allowed for a quiet time of reflection! We explored the nearby island by canoe and fished off the deck! Everything was at our finger tips! But it didn’t stop there. Jackie and Scott communicated clearly and responded very quickly to any questions we had. Looking forward to our next stay at the Lake House!!

Amazing home, Beautiful Location, Wonderful Owners
We had a fantastic stay in this property over a long weekend. This has been one of my absolute favorite homes to stay in on the lake. The home is gorgeous, well maintained and has great space for everyone. The owner was incredibly responsive with any questions throughout our stay. This home had everything we could have ever imagined with many small, yet significant touches that made us feel welcomed and cared for. The rooms and bathrooms very spacious and our family felt like we had so much space. The downstairs area is perfect for kids, teens or adults. We outdoor space is just gorgeous with everything you would ever need. The trampoline and mat were a huge hit with the kids. We cannot wait to go back!
