ROMANTIC, ARTISTS PRIVATE 'FOREST SUITE', 5 acres Redwoods, Trails, Mendo 2 mi.
Forest Suite est situé à quelques minutes au sud du village de Mendocino, sur 5 hectares de magnifiques séquoias. Cet appartement de 560 pieds carrés, plus une terrasse de 200 pieds carrés, se trouve à l'étage de mon studio d'artiste de 2 000 pieds carrés, qui n'est pas utilisé pendant les séjours. Construit entièrement avec le séquoia, le sapin recyclé et bois de grange avec comptoirs de ciment et Douche Cette escapade romantique est un endroit très spécial.
Le mur sud est toutes les fenêtres avec une terrasse donnant sur les arbres environnants. Il est très calme et ensoleillé et est fréquenté par les jeunes mariés, artistes, écrivains et ceux qui cherchent l'intimité totale. Quelques livres et scénarios ont été écrits ici! Un livre éclectique et une bibliothèque de DVD sont à votre disposition. Promenez-vous dans la forêt; vous verrez un panneau de sentier près de l'allée qui vous mènera à travers la propriété et sur Gordon Lane pour une promenade plus longue. Il y a un banc le long du sentier et également une terrasse dans les arbres pour le yoga ou la méditation, ou simplement vous détendre et profiter de la tranquillité. Merci et bon séjour!!

This setting was so mesmerizing, and the property so peaceful, I had a hard time leaving to go do the activities I'd had planned. This is a perfect place to hole up and just breathe, or cozy up with someone special. You're only a couple of miles from the town of Mendocino and 10 or 15 minutes from dozens of hikes in woods, on bluffs, or on quiet beaches. Small kitchen is well stocked, bed and linens are very comfortable, and you'll spend hours on that large lovely deck overlooking the forest. If you're sensitive to light as a sleeper, bring a sleep mask. I highly recommend this property and look forward to coming back!

My stay at the forest suite was exactly what I needed. The location was perfect inside and out. Tucked far enough away to feel like you are in your own little forest while being close to Mendocino and all it's beauty. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking to relax and escape to this whimsical locale.

My fiancee and I ended our honeymoon in Mendocino and we couldn't be happier that we chose this property for our stay. We've been to Mendo many times and none have the privacy, tranquility, and comfort that this home did. We truly felt at home. We will be back!

Comfortable, thoughtfully appointed, gorgeous view from every window and skylight, airy, well stocked kitchen, incredibly quiet, sumptuous bedding and lovely mattress, and spotlessly clean. We stayed at this VRBO in 2022 and enjoyed it so much we had to come back! It is a great location to be near the ocean and take in all the beautiful sights around Mendocino. The Forest Suite is peaceful and relaxing... perfect for getting away from it all for a few days. We would venture out in the mornings to go on hikes or just do some sight seeing, and then come back to the suite to kick back and read a good book. Such a nice vacation! Highly recommended!

The forest suite is a perfect spot to getaway from typical vacation accommodations. It is a very short drive to Mendocino, yet tucked away in the forest. The suite has everything you need and even some of the stuff you didn't think of, but your host did. Jennifer is very responsive and has created a wonderful spot to relax and enjoy.

It's a wonderful studio in a forest - cosy, comfortable to stay in, with a great view from the deck, peaceful surroundings, really close to the coast and Mendocino. I expected it to be nice (looking at the pictures in the listing) - and it turned out to be even better in person! We really loved our stay and hope to come back in future.

If you like total privacy, a charming space, great light, and easy access to the wonderful town of Mendocino, this place is for you. Sitting on the deck in the sun while watching the trees sway in the breeze is our idea of heaven. We've stayed here three times and can't wait to go back!

We really enjoyed our short stay here! The place is exactly how it’s shown in the photos and is very clean. A great place to retreat to in the evening and is close to activities near the coast and Fort Bragg. We’d definitely stay again!

It's a beautiful space in your a beautiful place. To sit in the sun on the deck with the redwoods towering around is a wonderful thing. In the night frogs croak from the creek below. The house is very well equipped -- the kitchen is a jewel. I had a very fine time. Already hoping I can go back.

The Forest-suite was just right. My wife and I were able to unwind in this tree top oasis of privacy.
Close to Mendocino and shipping. We had wonderful weather which allowed us to go hiking and then come enjoy the stillness of this rustic place.

While the weather in Mendocino this weekend was nonstop rain, we found the Forest Suite to be an incredibly cozy and comfortable stay. Jennifer’s directions were clear and concise and the amenities were great. Will definitely stay here again on our next Mendo excursion. Cheers!

This is the place to stay if you are looking to reconnect with yourself or someone you love. So peaceful, serene, private and close to everything at the same time. It was an absolute joy to look at the sky at night and wake up to the trees in the morning. So lucky to have found this place. Clean and has everything you can think of. By far, Jennifer’s Forest Studio is one of our favorite places we’ve stayed at. The way she styled and set up this very special place is so unique and comfortable. There was nothing she didn't provide and everything was clean. It was really hard to leave, so we will just have to be back.

I stayed here for 8 days as a Big Break from life and family. It was incredibly cozy, with the gas heater and comfy couch with comfy blanket, as rainstorms pounded the coast - rain on the skylights and outside the windows in the trees. Perfectly quiet and exactly what I needed.

The solitude one feels at this home is remarkable. Even though there are homes nearby the mornings and evenings are quiet. Walks along the access road proved quite pleasant, with little to no traffic. The town of Mendocino is a few minutes away, and there are numerous hiking opportunities nearby.
We stayed for three nights, and I found the home to be perfect for that duration. Overall, a really peaceful vacation - exactly what I wanted.

This is a beautiful space, a studio with those gorgeous windows into the woods. It’s secluded, if you can arrive during the day, all the better. It’s not impossible to find, but tricky in the dark

We couldn't have been more pleased. Jennifer has created a unique space that is absolutely beautiful. The suite provided every need and no one can beat the location. Jennifer has always been very quick and communicative regarding any questions or concerns. Of course, we didn't want to leave! We hope hope hope that we'll be able to return one day.

The location was amazing with wonderful forrest views and felt very private. I absolutely plan to stay again sometime if I get the chance! A few window screens wouldn’t hurt as we were joined by a hummingbird at one point (who we safely deposited outside) as well as a few bees throughout our stay when we opened the windows to let in some of the coastal air but other than that our stay was perfectly pleasant and we loved the multiple skylights as they helped the interior of the Vrbo to stay naturally lit throughout the day.

This is our second time staying here and we love it! There is nothing better than sipping coffee on the balcony looking over the redwood trees! The location is perfect, so close to Mendocino and to trails for biking and hiking! We will definitely be back!

We had a small issue upon checkin but soon found out why this home and host are rated at 5s across the board. Jen the host quickly remediated the issue and then went above and beyond to ensure we were happy with our stay. This home provided a needed escape from everything. And the best part is you can go from redwood forest to sandy beach in less than 10 minutes or so. Very, very quiet. So relaxing to just sit on deck and hear only the forest. Will defintely be back soon. Thank you Jen
