The pool area is very nice and is one of the best I've had in the outer banks. The kitchen has nice cabinets and is well stocked. The entire upstairs of the house is laid out nicely. The bedrooms on the other hand, are small and loud - you can hear everything. The bedroom doors are paper-thin - solid doors might help. Also some carpeting on the steps might help reduce the notice on the second floor. The walk to the beach is about 5 minutes down a trail. This worked fine for us but just note you cannot see the ocean from the house.

Aptly name "SeaEsta", some of the best night sleep I've had in awhile. Very comfortable and cozy accommodation, I enjoyed the relative privacy and serenity.

We had an amazing week at the beach in this home. It was the perfect size to accommodate our large family. having access to a private pool was just what we need. Only negative was the smell of a water/sewage plate that was near by. On a very hot day if the wind blew a certain direction the smell was pretty awful. Other than that we would consider renting this again.

Packing for a family of five for a vacation is tricky. That's why we always choose to stay at seaesta. It has everything you could possibly need on vacation. I was able to pack minimal things and still have everything. They have bikes, sand toys, beach chairs, boogie boards, darts, basketball, sidewalk chalk, beach cart and umbrella. 2 grills. Hot tub and pool with amazing rope lighting. The pool and hot tub also light up. Completely stocked kitchen tools and dishes. Kids high chair and pack n play. There is no other option of where to stay in obx. This house has the perfect private walk way to the beach. I love this house and you will too.

We had a great week at the beach. Our house was very nice, sat back in the corner so had nice privacy, and had a lot of cute little decoration touches. The walk to the beach was easy. Maybe a little longer than we wanted but only because we had some very young children ( I would say it was about .3 of a mile.). It was definitely manageable and perfectly fine for older kids/adults. The property owners obviously thought about different things they could provide or add to make the stay more enjoyable. We had a few small problems ( grill didn’t work at first, ice maker was leaking). We contacted maintenance and they responded in a very timely fashion and took care of everything. Overall everyone we dealt with was extremely nice and you could tell us having a good time was important to them.

We stayed at SeaEsta for our first vacation as a family of five with kids aged 10, 4, and 3 months. The house was very well stocked and organized with tons of kid friendly additions! The games and books were wonderful for the kids (and adults) to play with (they even had a modern “old school”Nintendo). The pool was great and the walk to beach easy! Only downside was that the laundry was not connected to main house, but we made it work! Would def stay there again!

Great house conveniently located with close access to the beach (5 minute stroll on path behind houses). Pool was a plus for kids and adults in our group. House had everything we needed. Some pots and pans need to be updated. The living and dining area was a great hang out for our group of 10. Overall a great experience.

Our family of five thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ocean Sands. The house had everything we needed for the week. It was a short walk to the beach (or we could bike) and it was also great to relax in the pool or the hot tub. Shopping and restaurants were very close.

Overall, we had a great stay. Nice layout and lots of amenities, especially once we found all the pool toys and such in the laundry room. House was fairly dirty upon arrival and we had to vacuum the entire space and deal with a dirty grill/pan from prior guests. We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood and pool. Walk to beach was easy.

This house was perfect for our summer vacation with friends and a total of 5 kids. We loved how tucked back the house was from the others. The was to the beach was not long at all (even with 5 kids under 9 in tow). Pool and Hot tub were a plus!

Great experience and well time spent with girlfriends and family members along with the beach we had the pool the hot tub shopping and many crafts to keep us busy during the rain, The ocean was warm and changed every day,Definitely will come back to Sea Esta

Great kitchen, loved the pool, great location
The kitchen had everything you could want and was labeled so nicely. The sunroom could have been cleaned better (we didn't use that room because of that). Loved the swing on the deck, loved the pool area. The darts need replacing (only 2 were in good condition). Quiet location (except home next door had young partying adults who were noisy), couple minutes walk to the beach which was nice.

A little gem!
Great location and slightly tucked away. You would never know you are near the water treatment plant. The walk to the beach was very easy. Every beach, pool or hot tub item you would need was provided. We would definitely stay here again.

Beach Fun
I like the location as it was quiet and in walking distance to the beach. We took the bikes out which were very nice bikes for a beach house rental and all ready to go with air in the tires. We grilled a few times and didn't have any trouble with plenty of propane. I would say the only thing about this house was the creaking of the doors and floors but it is an older house. Definitely a place we would visit again.

Excellent stay
We had an excellent stay at the house. There are a lot of great amenities like the beach cart, bikes, sand toys, cornhole, Weber grill, etc. You do need to bring your own hand soap. The walk to the beach is about 5 minutes. The only negative was that while it had been cleaned when we got there, it could probably use a deeper cleaning under the beds, dressers, etc.

Perfect for 2 families
During our stay, we had 4 adults and 5 children. The children were between 3 and 12 years old. With the number of beds and bedrooms, it was perfect for us. The pool and hot tub were a hit during the day, but we found them hard to enjoy at night due to the mosquitos. Other than that, we had a fantastic time!

Great house and pleasant stay!
The house fit all our needs. The location to shopping and activites were excellent. We loved relaxing in the pool at night it was very private. The kids loved riding the bikes to see the turtles and beach crabs. The path to the beach was a walk but not bad. It was a nice scenic stroll. The beach wagon helped! :) We loved our stay and plan to return!
Suggestions: Bring some kitchen towels and make sure you have paper products. The stores were low on supply.

Great vacation
This beach house exceeded our expectations. Private pool and hot tub were perfect. Walking path to the beach is just steps away and takes just over 5 min to get there. Lots of privacy with trees all around. Only negatives were limited bath towels and no kitchen towels . Would 100% stay here again.

Very nice!
The house is beautiful and offers a lot of amenities and is in a nice neighborhood with a little private park to the beach. The kids really enjoyed the pool, hot tub and corn hole game.

Great Stay!
Loved this house! Great kitchen, it had everything we needed. The pool was enjoyable for all, and the walk to the beach is shorter than we thought. My only complaint is that the beds were very uncomfortable and noisy. I suggest bringing some kind of pillow top for the beds. Although we brought our beach gear, we really didn’t need it because SeaEsta had chairs and toys available to use. The house is almost hidden from the view of others which was very nice, it kept our stay more private than we’ve experienced in other years. I highly recommend this property.

Perfect Beach Getaway
We enjoyed the easy walk & path to the beach.
This beach home was bright, clean and nicely decorated. The kitchen well stocked. The screen enclosed sunroom is nice for morning coffee & quiet time. We saw beautiful evening sunsets from the deck. The pool & hot tub were a huge hit after a full day at the beach. Would definitely recommend this beach house for a family looking to get away & relax in the OBX.
