Walk to Town! Bike or Bus to Beach! Charming Cottage on Quiet, Private Lane
Situé sur une voie privée à seulement quelques minutes de marche de la ville et un accès facile aux pistes cyclables et des plages, notre propriété est une escapade Nantucket par excellence. Notre propriété se compose de deux chalets (Cottage A, Leeward et Cottage B, Windward), style duplex, avec des entrées et des ponts séparés et une grande cour commune (voir la liste # 602380 pour l'inscription pour Cottage A). Il y a aussi un studio séparé sur la propriété que les propriétaires utilisent occasionnellement.
Cottage B (Windward) dispose de deux chambres, 1 salle de bains et salon principal avec cuisine efficace et espace de vie. Les deux chambres ont lits doubles. Le pont surplombe la grande cour commune, bien aménagée, et avec mobilier de jardin confortable et un gril à gaz (nouveau grill Weber en 2016). Il y a aussi un grand parking hors rue. Linge de lit, des chaises de plage et serviettes fournis.
La cuisine a été rénovée en 2015 et comprend un réfrigérateur LG, une cuisinière compacte, un four micro-ondes et un lave-vaisselle. Tout ce que vous auriez besoin pour une escapade d'une semaine est prévue.
La salle de bains a été rénovée en 2016 avec des sols en marbre et des murs carrelés avec une cabine de douche en verre moderne.
Caractéristiques Extérieures une grande cour aménagée par des professionnels et une grande douche extérieure (nouveau en 2015). La douche extérieure fournit de l'eau chaude et un dressing de la vie privée.
Bien que seulement une courte promenade à la page principale Street- le chalet est dans une ruelle isolée qui est calme et privé. Vous vous sentirez comme vous êtes miles loin de l'agitation et de l'agitation.

When we were looking for a property, our daughter was staying at the White elephant but was unable to book us a room due to a convention. The “windward” cottage came up and fit every criteria.We were so pleasantly surprised when we actually got there, and saw how quaint and well maintained it us.

We had a great stay at this cute cottage! It was about a 17 minute walk into town with sidewalks. The property manager was extremely responsive and helpful before we got there and the house was stocked with everything we needed for our long weekend, including lands end bedding and bathroom linens (the best!! :) would absolutely recommend this cottage and would absolutely stay here again!

We had a fabulous stay. The communication and check-in were seamless, and anything expected of us during our stay was clearly explained. It was the perfect distance from town, close enough to bike and walking paths, and overall a beautiful cottage. We would love to one day come back to Nantucket and stay here again!

Our stay in Nantucket could not have been more perfect! This was our third summer vacationing on the island and this was by far our favorite accommodation. Kendra and Phil were very responsive before, during and after our stay. The cottage was absolutely perfect! It is not far from town to walk, buses can be easily accessible from the location, and overall everything was great. We had everything we needed as far as towels, chairs, kitchen tools, etc . The backyard was perfect for grilling, enjoying meals outside and our puppy had an absolute blast having an outdoor area, especially coming from the city. We couldn’t have asked for a better place and hosts. Thank you!

We just finished up a week long stay at the cottage. It was a 5/5!! The cottage was cozy, yet perfectly appointed and the attention to detail was superior. We are a family of four two adults/two teens and we didn’t feel cramped or inconvenienced. It’s a perfect location to town and a perfect starting point for travel across the island. What impressed me the most was how clean the cottage was on the inside and the outside. Perfect!! Perfect!!! Perfect!! We will definitely be back!!!

Gorgeous landscaping and outdoor deck. All amenities. We walked and ubered to different places for our family wedding venue. Comfortable beds. Well appointed kitchen. Definitely uber to and from seastreak. Shared the duplex with family which made it extra fun. But each unit is set up for privacy. Spotless. Quiet.

We stayed on Boyer’s Alley for a good friend’s wedding and were incredibly happy with the cleanliness and comfort of the unit. We traveled with our 16 year-old dog, and finding a pet friendly place to stay can sometimes be a challenge, so we were extremely happy to find this property. The yard is big enough for a dog to get some exercise and is beautifully manicured. The most important and best part of our stay though, was that Kendra and Phil were extremely accommodating when we were stranded on the island because of bad weather. I texted with Kendra a couple of times to see if we could extend our visit and it worked out with their rental schedule, but she was also very empathetic about our situation. I am so grateful that we found this property and hope to visit again soon!

We enjoy staying at this property so much! It is well-appointed, clean, and the deck and garden offer a lot of outside play space for our children. The furnishings are tasteful. The owners are very responsive. You are within walking distance of the restaurants and shops of Nantucket Town and the local Stop and Shop grocery store. We’ll be back!

Great town rental for young family
We enjoyed the location and beautifully landscaped yard. The WAVE stops right in front of the house and it is a short walk to town. We especially enjoyed taking our 2YO to children's and jetties beaches. Both are walkable (20 to 30 minites) or a short drive.

Mini Moon Perfection!
Our stay here was perfect. My husband and I came to Nantucket for our mini moon right after our wedding. The place is close enough to down town to walk and it was very easy to find. The property was spacious and clean. The outside deck was beautiful and it was awesome to have outdoor space. The driveway was helpful, too, because we rented a car and we could easily store it in the drive. The best part was the beach chairs and towels! It was nice to have access to those and not have to worry about that. The hosts are very helpful and responsive and let you store your bags if you arrive early or leave late. The island is beautiful and though we were rarely even at the property because we were so busy, everything was perfect.

Great property for a short island trip!
The house was great for our short trip to Nantucket. It was well equipped with everything we needed. Although a little smaller than others we've stayed in before, it wasn't a problem for us as we spent most days exploring the island.
The location isn't too far from town, so we were still able to walk in each day without needing a vehicle (though those traveling with children or older individuals may need a vehicle or to utilize cabs into town).
Overall a great stay and I would recommend and use this property again.

Amazing cute cottage
This stay is unbeatable! We did a mother/daughter trip here with my best friend and her mom and this VRBO could not have been more perfect. It’s cozy but would never know because of how smartly designed and decorated it is! Both beds have pull out storage below to unpack and get settled. The shower is great and the deck was so perfect for happy hour and apps every night. The location is so great and close to everything. Highly recommend!!

Adorable cottage in great location
Kendra and Phil’s cottage was perfect for our long weekend in Nantucket! The cottage was even more lovely in person. It has everything you need and we especially appreciated the beach towels and chairs! On a beautiful day having the deck and was a real highlight! You can’t beat the location. It’s tucked away on a quiet street while being an easy 15 minute walk to town with all the restaurants and shops. The check in/out process couldn’t be easier and the hosts were very responsive! Would highly recommend staying at the Windward!

Hidden Gem

We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage! Had everything we needed, and everything was organized, neat and tidy. We walked everywhere (beach- we walked 20 mins to children’s beach, 35 to jetties, and closer to an hour walk to surf side on a bike path- all enjoyable walks!, walked to town (quick 15 mins), coffee shops, breakfast). The yard is very pleasant for sitting outside and the outdoor shower is great after a beach day. We would definitely book here again.
