The property owner was a pleasure to work with and the house sits on an outcropping over the northern tip of Ten Mile Beach. We have stayed in the Mendocino/Fort Bragg area for decades but never, NEVER did we stay on a property we didn't want to leave due to it's unparalleled beauty! A lovely, well kept property that made the stay with multiple guests very comfortable and relaxing. Couldn't recommend a property more. A sparkling jewel of the Northern California coast!

From start to finish, a wonderful stay. Home is well maintained and clean.The bedrooms are very adequate; the master bedroom is large and well situated for viewing the coastline. A window in the master shower is a nice touch to give a feeling of openness without an invasion of ones privacy.(There is an optional shade which can be closed if you so choose.) In addition to the master, there is another en suite bedroom.A third bedroom has a hall bathroom within a few feet.The kitchen is well fitted with quality appliances and accessories needed for cooking and baking. The open concept living,dining,and kitchen has windows looking out to the ocean and a large beach just a short distance from the house.There are two large TVs, one in master and one in the living area.(You will be too enamored with the view to bother with them.)On the outside, next to the large porch, is a hot tub.This we found to be well maintained.The temperature is around 100 degrees, and the spa size can easily seat four, if not more.Sunsets and sunrises are fantastic from the spa.The photos from this spot are crazy good; your friends will be jealous.There is also a small table on the porch should one want to dine outside. (It was too chilly for that on this trip.) With regard to communication with the owner of this property, he is very much hands on and responded to any questions that came up. He is also explicit about expectations, none of which did we find to be out of line.A FIVE STAR and then some!

Oh what a wonderful experience! It was the best! This home is spacious with a bathroom for each bedroom. The full wall of windows in the living area offers a perfect sweeping view of the Pacific Ocean. We did all the things we could fit in four short days! Twice to Glass Beach, grandson constructed a structure with driftwood at the Sand Dunes, spent a good amount of time at the Botanical Gardens (the dahlias were vibrant), went to the tide pools, walked the beach over and over again..... And probably my favorite time spent at this home on the peninsula was watching the sunrise and sunset....magical! Indeed the best view on the Mendocino Coast!

Location and view is phenominal. House is cozy and comfortable. Owner is courteous and immediately responsive to all questions. Everything provided resulted in a wonderful experience!!

This is a breathtaking place to stay with views of the ocean that will amaze you! You can relax in the hot tub while overlooking the ocean and watching the amazing sunset. While we were there, we saw the sunset and the moonrise. I highly recommend this place. The one thing I would recommend that you bring is your own shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Other than that, it was a perfect place!! Can't wait to come back.

To celebrate our daughter’s birthday we picked this home for it’s location and views. The open concept makes it a pleasure to cook and eat with everyone around. You can watch the ocean all day long from the large windows and listen to the waves from the comfortable bedrooms. We would definitely stay at this home again

Views, views views! Modern well appointed house with windows everywhere. Comfortable and had everything we could have wanted. Host is so gracious. His restaurant and activity recommendations were excellent. We'llbe back!

We were so pleased to have comfortable space for 5 adults and adequate parking for 2 cars. We stopped in town for supplies and prepared most meals on-site, and headed in to Ft Bragg when we wanted something new. We were very impressed with the house and location, the stunning views of the coast and the ocean were excellent and we saw so much wildlife from the deck and living room! The sunsets were fantastic every day, and we were down at the beach at sunrise for low tide. There were plenty of opportunities to walk in the woods or along the shore within a 70 minute drive from the house, and we had a lovely mix of activity and relaxation every day. We took advantage of the puzzles and games on-site as well as the binoculars available for whale-watching. Deryl and Christina were very helpful and responsive to any questions we had and gave great tips and advice for the area. Excellent hosts! It's a bit tricky to find the house in the dark, so I recommend arriving before sunset.

What a wonderful stay! We spent a week here and this location is breathtaking and exactly as described and shown in pictures. Had everything we needed for a quiet and relaxing beach vacation with our two dogs. Beds are super comfortable and everything was incredibly clean and well cared for.

Our family has been renting houses on the Mendocino coast for decades and this was the best we have ever stayed at. The description is absolutely accurate. The only caveat is that giving this home the review it deserves means it will become that much more popular.

We were on a 10 day trip with 4 adults and one small dog. We stayed at 3 different homes and this one was the highlight of the trip. It has a absolutely beautiful view as it sits on a bluff right above the ocean. The sunsets were breathtaking. The home was very clean and the most comfortable of all 3 homes. There is 3 bedrooms so we didn't even use the middle bedroom. We had one small problem with hot water and Christina immediately responded to texts and calls and was there within an hour to fix the problem. Great customer service. Darryl the owner is very responsive to any communication and called before our trip to answer any questions. I would have loved to stay here another few days but we had to move on to the rest of our 10 day trip. I would love to book this home again. Most relaxing place...Everything we needed in the kitchen. This property is truly amazing! The house is beautiful and has all the amenities you need. The location is almost unbelievable! We kept saying that it felt like we were in a dream! So relaxing being on a bluff overlooking the ocean & beach. It’s like a little slice of heaven! Close to Ft Bragg & Mendocino so there’s plenty to do if you feel like getting out & about. The host is a pleasure to work with and very responsive. I can’t wait to go back again someday!

My husband and I were planning a birthday weekend getaway with our 88-year-old mother who has mobility issues. Our goal was to get away from the noise and hustle and find a quite spot with beauty all around where we could relax and where our mum would feel safe and would be able to move about freely. From our first contact with Deryl, he understood our goals as well as the issues to navigate with our mum's mobility and could not have been more accommodating. He "got" us and was so helpful in sorting through how our mum could navigate the property. When we arrived, were were overwhelmed by the beauty of the location- even the amazing photos don't do it justice. A warm and inviting home nestled on a cliffside with ocean on three sides! We had excursions planned but ended up mostly sitting on the patio listening to the waves, watching the light change, and looking at the amazing variety of shorebirds and other wildlife passing by. The home was easy to navigate for our mum, comfortable, clean, and everything we needed was there. Just north of Fort Bragg, it was easy to get supplies in town and a revelation to explore the wilderness and small towns of the area. We were grateful to Deryl for being such a great communicator and for being so sensitive to our mum's needs and helping us realize a magical vacation with her.

If you DON’T like the ocean, trees, seclusion, beach life, California coastal weather, quaint little towns, great food, sunrises, sunsets, star gazing, warm house, perfect amenities, hot tub, coffee or mimosas on the deck; then this is not the place for you. This VRBO is very comfortable and a place you would like to move in and call home--the setting is spectacular--more beautiful than the photos can capture--location is wonderful for sight seeing--one can walk to the beach which is not crowded--it is pet friendly and our dog loved the beach!! the owner is very accessible and caring--my only problem is that we didn't have time to stay longer--it was our favorite VRBO we have ever stayed in!!

My initial conversation with Daryl was wonderful and set the tone for our whole trip. The pictures and words cannot the actual property. From the relaxing ocean sounds that lul you to sleep, to the sounds of the morning birds. The house has been completely remodeled. Upgrades are first class and we all felt right at home as soon as we arrived. Than you Daryl!!!

Deryl's place is AWESOME and we'd love to come back. The views are unbelievable and the quick drive to the dog-friendly beach is incredibly convenient. Deryl was very helpful with directions to the house and recommendations for restaurants and hikes. We felt so relaxed staying there and I would also add that I've never stayed at a rental with a comfier bed! You won't regret booking here!

Best view is true! And the house is very clean and comfortable. Modern design with big windows to enjoy the views. Great kitchen, well stocked, even had champagne glasses. Comfortable beds. Hot tub very clean and hot. A quick, less than a minute, drive to a parking spot at the beach. You could walk, but you would be on the highway and there is little to no shoulder. We really enjoyed our stay and can't wait to come back.

Everything is advertised, and the pictures don't do the views and location justice. 10/10 and would stay again in a heartbeat.

We really enjoyed this amazing home. The house is beautiful, super comfortable, simply decorated, and has lots of nice touches. The views are amazing from all parts of the home as well as the deck and excellent hot tub. The house had everything we needed . In addition, you can walk to the beach and are a short drive away from Ft Bragg and Mendocino. Deryle and his team were amazing hosts and went beyond the call of duty to meet our needs. We can't wait to come back and enjoy another visit.

The location of this house is truly breathtaking. You'll never get over the view. The house is well appointed and very comfortable, the beds were lovely. Despite my few little issues listed below, I would stay here 100x over again. It's an amazing house. It's a little hard to find, as when you turn off the highway you need to almost make a U turn onto the dirt driveway. It should be better marked for a rental! Like a few other reviews I had the weird issue of not having any extra toilet paper in any of the bathrooms. If my friend hadn't had some in her car we would have been in big trouble. I told the owner and he said he would address it in the future but come prepared. The shower heads are laughable. Big fancy renovated bathrooms with the lowest flow smallest unadjustable showerheads. That was a bummer. Again, this is the best VRBO I've ever stayed in. The owner is very responsive and helpful. The location is the most spectacular place I've ever been. I never even read the books I brought because everytime I sat down I'd just stare out the windows!

A one of a kind property with AMAZING ocean views, including spectacular sunsets and endless beach! This is an amazing place to get away with the family and spend some quality time, a must see, one of a kind.

The house was phenomenal! Spotless and beautifully furnished, it was far more comfortable than my own home and looked like it was recently remodeled. The views out over the bluff it sits on are gorgeous, we only left the property once in our 4 night stay, just to go to Glass Beach for a bit before my sister had to leave. Watching the waves crashing on the rocks and listening to the subtle roar was the most relaxing thing ever, and seeing the pelicans fishing was very entertaining. We even had an Osprey visit and hang out in the tree for a while. I can't say enough great things about the property, the house, and our stay and will definitely be planning to go back as soon as possible!

The views are incredible. The house was spotless and had everything we needed to enjoy our vacation. We are already looking forward to our next trip to this beautiful house!

This is a beautifully maintained house with exellent bedrooms, bathrooms and a great kitchen with high-end finishes and appliances. Incredible ocean views from the kitchen/family room, deck and hot tub. The ocean is everywhere you look! Loved staying there and we'll be back.
