This was our second year in a row and can’t say enough good things about this home. Perfect spot for a family, great location, and can guarantee everything you need is at your fingertips. Hosts are wonderful, too!! P.S. loved the comfy new lounge chairs in the back, and the oven/stove was a great fancy addition ;-)

We all agree that the house is even better in person. I went with my husband, 2 sons, and parents. It was a perfect set up because my parents had their own room and bathroom on the main floor, and we stayed upstairs with our own bathroom. The host had a pack and play, which was so convenient because we have a 2 year old and baby so it was one less big product we needed to pack! The backyard was definitely our favorite part, very well kept, we spent all our meals out there, my 2 year old rode his bike and ran around to get all of his energy out. We would love the opportunity to stay here again one summer!

26 years ago, we moved from the Jersey shore to Connecticut. We finally made it back and what a great time we had. Gail and Greg’s house was perfect For all our needs. When we weren’t at the beach, we were hanging out in the great backyard or at the kitchen table playing cards or games. Gail is a Wonderful host and made us feel welcome in her home. We hope to make it back another summer.

This was indeed our third time renting the Menist's lovely Pt. Pleasant home and as with the other two times, we had a delightful week and wanted for nothing when it came to our accommodations. The Menist house has everything my 2 daughters, sons-in-law, and 2 grandkids (12 and 6) and I could want. There is lots of room for us to not only sleep but also just hang out when we are not at the beach. The new downstairs bathroom makeover to a walk in shower was a wonderful surprise for us this year. The backyard with different entertainment 'stations' - picnic table area; fire pit w/ surrounding Adirondack chairs; putting green (!) and assorted outdoor (as well as indoor games) makes even the cloudiest or wettest shore days still ones to enjoy. Many thanks to Gail and her husband for welcoming us back again this year! Ingrid Davidsen

Place was clean you needed nothing Gail the host was great !! Would highly recommend this place to anyone ! We were able to bring our pup Franki so she had a great time as well 😊

Gail made our stay at her home easy from day one. Communication was great and she was quick to respond especially once we were there. If you’ve ever VRBO’d before you know how important those quick responses are for you. We had everything we needed to feel like we were home. Our trip was for our family to gather with additional family that came in from other states, Germany and some that live in the area. Our morning coffees in the yard were a perfect way to start our very fun filled and busy days. Gail and Greg’s home was in a perfect location for us to spend long days and late nights together with the large group and then retreat to our own safe haven.

This was our second year in a row at Gail's Point Pleasant home, and it was just as nice as the first. Everything we needed and then some, everything clean and well-maintained. Lots of space for our family of four. Highly recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay from beginning to end. The property was immaculate and just as pictured. So many extra perks including wine and flowers upon our arrival. Not only did these amazing hosts provide a well-equipped house with all the necessities and all the comforts of home, they couldn’t do enough to make sure our stay was enjoyable. The quick responses to all my communications with the host was greatly appreciated! My only regret is since the weather was so hot, we couldn’t enjoy their beautiful yard as much as I would have liked. Great stay, comfortable beds too !!!

My husband and I had a lovely stay at Gail’s perfect and very well stocked beach house. We stayed at her home the week of my daughters wedding as well as and the hottest heatwave of the summer! Thank goodness the AC worked like a charm!
Gail has thought of every detail that a home might need for guests! That for us was very helpful, so we knew we did not have to run to the store for anything !
Such a great backyard for bbq’s or early morning coffee!

The home was exactly as pictured and as promised. We appreciated the table for 2 outide the back door for morning coffee, the night lights everywhere for navigating unfamiliar territory at night, the keurig coffee maker, good water pressure and plenty of hot water, and most of all, labels and instructions everywhere! I wish it were a bit closer to the shore, but we were able to find parking nearby each time we went down to the ocean. There were beach chairs available and bicycles as well. All in good condition!

This house was perfect 3 years ago when we first started using it and it still gets better every year. This year they added bikes and a few other pretty big surprises. We have never needed anything at this property that the owner didn’t already take care of, and the property and residence are meticulously maintained. Honestly can’t say enough good about the property and the owners, you won’t be disappointed.

The property was as advertised and more. Very clean and organized. Plenty of room for a family of 5 and more. Beach is a short walk or drive and not crowded at all. The yard and patio was really spacious and had everything we needed. Gail and Greg were gracious hosts and left us a bottle of wine on arrival. Will definitely consider returning. Thank you Gail and Greg!

This beautiful and well maintained home was the perfect beach house for my family to relax and recharge. The furniture throughout the home was very comfortable and the backyard was a peaceful retreat to gather after a fun day at the beach. Our family loved this beach house and look forward to renting it again.

We’ve been staying at this wonderful home for as long as my kids can remember! I can’t say enough good things about it and the terrific homeowners! I almost don’t want to let my “secret” out of the bag! :) Thank you Gail and Greg for always having a cozy and warm place for us to get away to! See you next year…again!

Our family had a great 2 weeks in this lovely home! The property is well kept and has all the amenities you need. The location is perfect - close to everything! The owners were very pleasant and accomodating. We hope to be back next year!

Great stay in a great house! We were a little concerned about renting a house during Covid - but the house was sanitized and spotless! All precautions were taken and we felt extremely comfortable. House is spacious with a great layout. The yard is large and wonderful - perfect for al fresco dining (great take out options in the area) or barbecuing. Added bonus was fire pit and outdoor shower. Kitchen was fully stocked. Short drive to great beach. Gail was so helpful and could not have been easier to work with - she was in touch and always and in contact! Highly recommend this property!
