What an amazing property. The home is one of the best supplied we have ever stayed in. The kitchen even has sharp knives! Unheard of! The view is spectacular, the secluded sand beach was amazing. From paddleboarding right from the beach to snorkeling just down the shore to relaxing it was perfect. Theresa is the best host we have experienced! She kept us informed of local happenings, suggestions for activities and the best local cuisine ( don't miss Salt or Too Chez). All in all the perfect getaway!

This was our first time in St. Croix, and this home did not disappoint. From meeting the host and learning about the property to the property having anything and everything you need! I would suggest visiting the house first and seeing what is there before going to the store. We explored the island some, but we could have stayed home the entire time and never left. We loved the beach, all the different crabs, and even the other ocean wildlife we spotted. It was HOT the week we were in town, but the ACs in the rooms cooled down quickly. We were already planning our trip back while waiting for our departing plane.

My best friend and I went on an end of summer trip to st. Croix and we had such an amazing experience at Theresa’s home. The place is stunning and well stocked with literally everything you could need for a beach vacation on the islands. Theresa and her dogs live right next door (but were certainly never intrusive) and she is quick to answer any and all questions. I loved drinking coffee and watching the sun come up over the ocean in the mornings and taking an outdoor shower after a Sandy beach day. You will not be disappointed booking this home!

We loved our stay and our host. The house was stocked like a home and little things you might need like a sewing kit. No guarantee but quite nice. Evening dinners on the bluff line overlooking the ocean were our favorite! She even charged my daughters camera battery. Top Notch!! There was some seaweed on the beach while we were there that was disappointing but nothing they could control.

This place was "seaside serenity". From the time we got there until the time we left we felt at home here. The host is very welcoming. The scenery can't be beat. Don't forget to give the gecko water every morning. He comes to the kitchen window just to say good morning. You will also get a surprise of the evening out the back door. We had crabs come by every evening under the palm trees, don't freak out they are harmless and enjoyable to watch. You will hopefully see the deer running around of the evening and early morning. They host has all kinds of snorkeling gear for the family if you would like to get in the water. The little tiki hut down on the beach was a plus as well. I definitely recommend a stay here. If we ever travel to St. Croix again this is where we will stay. Drive in slowly and watch for the birds that may be in the road at the bird sanctuary. Enjoy your stay!

It was perfect with the ocean views, private beach and beautiful home.

This was the perfect spot. And we were lucky enough to be accompanied by a full moon, which made for an amazing view of the seaside. Thanks so much, Theresa. Your home was stocked and decorated in every detail the same way we would opt if it was ours. Convenient, comfortable grounds for strolling, sitting, beach combing, hammocking(?), sipping, staring, dreaming. I would like to include a negative. Sorry, can’t come up with one. Is “too idyllic” a negative??

This was our second stay at Seaside Serenity. It was everything we remembered from the previous year and more. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. We were lulled asleep by the waves at night and enjoyed our morning coffee seaside. It was a perfect stay. Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in St Croix. Theresa was a gracious hostess, people on the island were friendly and we enjoyed various beach locations and restaurants. We hope to return again!

The photos are real! You are secluded with no other house around you, besides the property owner ( who was amazing , never interfering ). Your own private beach! 14 minutes from the boardwalk where many restaurants are and also where you board charters. 20 minutes to rainbow beach. 2 miles from grocery store and gas stations. Clean and the perfect size with two master suites and a smaller bedroom. The views are absolutely amazing. If you want a break from every day stress then this house is for you! The only sound you hear is the ocean and the only thing you feel is peace. You can feel the thought that went in to creating this serene space. I can’t say enough about it.

Theresa's property was amazing! First, communication ahead and throughout was great! Theresa was informative and very responsive. First impression of house was crazy! Beautiful doesn't begin to describe it. Home, furnishings, and decor was spot on for the island. Beds are very comfortable and home layout was perfect. Location...couldn't have been more perfect. The property is about in the middle as east-west goes, so within 28 minutes we were on the west coast beaches or the east coast beaches. 13 minutes to Christiansted and more of a town feel, for shopping and dining. Grocery store within 10 minutes. Airport about 13 minutes away. You really can't ask for a more centrally located property. Plus, it itself sits off the main roads so it is so quiet and beautiful at night. Theresa has all amenities from beach chairs, a cooler to take to the beaches, and a wonderful dog named Lucy!!! We missed our dog buy Lucy gave us the pet therapy we needed!! All in all, probably the best vacation home we have ever been to. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

We really enjoyed our stay. Theresa went above and beyond our expectations. The home was clean and beautiful with amazing views. The private beach was an added bonus. Theresa is a wonderful host who makes sure to have everything ready for guests from amenities to helping with planning activities. Location of house is brilliant for a restful vacation; quaint, clean and comfortable, privacy, amazing ‘right there’ water views with private beach and swimming. Kitchen fully stocked with everything you need and Theresa has included lots of games and water toys to go with Wi-Fi and Apple TV if needed. Grocery stores, gas and food minutes away and south central location perfect for getting to all areas of interest on the island within 20 min or so. Look forward to coming back and making this a yearly get away.

We enjoyed every minute of Seaside Serenity for out 30th anniversary! Perfect host, perfect house, perfect views. Theresa had everything prepared so beautifully and was available during our stay as well. We loved taking evening walks, sitting Oceanside and snorkeling off the private beach.

Excellent in every way. Theresa is a great host and this house is wonderful. The private beach is awesome. This is the best experience my wife and I have had at any vacation rental.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Seaside Serenity. We were able to watch turtles in the water and even saw a ray jump once. Really was a special time. Loved having the little beach right at the house. Depending on the direction of the wind, there were some days where there was too much seaweed so we would head to a different beach but other days it was just perfect. We enjoyed the waves at the beach and had fun playing in them. Also loved the comfy chairs and the cabana for shade that was setup there. The house is well stocked with everything needed including sharp knives in the kitchen, pots/pans, and the best variety of small appliances that I have ever had in a rental house. Portable beach chairs were not available in the house but we asked Theresa for them and she supplied them for us. This is a great property. A couple of items that could make an amazing place even better: 1 - Make the property more private by planting shrubs between the houses. There are 3 houses in a row and while there is a good amount of space between them, it would be nice to have more privacy through landscaping. 2 - We did have an issue that Theresa cleared up related to use of the beach. It was our understanding from communications with Theresa that the beach was only used by those renting Seaside Serenity, however, we were at the beach enjoying a romantic picnic when a family member of Theresa's that was in town joined us on the beach. Theresa cleared this up quickly. Would recommend if this is important for your stay to ensure there is clarification of this during your stay. 3 - Would love to see the back bedroom furniture rearranged to be able to see the ocean view from the bed. There is a beautiful view from this room but the furniture is arranged in a way that laying in bed you see the cars in the driveway next door instead of seeing the ocean. This property is in a very quiet area of St. Croix where you do not hear much for traffic or noise. Pretty much just the sound of the ocean which is refreshing. It is easy driving to anywhere on the island. House was very clean and obviously well cared for. Theresa puts her heart into the property and has made it an exceptional place to stay. This would be at the very top of our list of places to return to when we come back to St. Croix in the future and would be awesome to come back for a stay of a month or more!

From the moment we saw Seaside Serenity over a year ago we knew it was the only place we wanted to stay. Boy it did NOT disappoint. The house is INCREDIBLE, so thoughtfully put together with everything you could possibly want or need. The property is AMAZING, with views to die for, an amazing private beach , and all sorts of wildlife around . The topper on the cake is Theresa. The owner and host of the property. From minute one she was amazing, she answered every one of my questions so quickly, and there were MANY. She was so helpful with information for restaurants and beaches, always responsive if you needed something but never intrusive in any way. We so enjoyed conversations with both her and John , they are such great people it was like chatting with friends you have known for years. The house is so comfortable, with comfortable beds and air conditioning if you need it . The outdoor shower was EVERYONES favorite spot! Wow , you can not beat a great shower with a perfect view of that water. This place was our slice of HEAVEN for a week and we would love to return one day! Thank you for sharing this beautiful home . Theresa is beyond wonderful. She is the quintessential host, full of information and happy to share. She gives of her time so freely anytime you need it. The property was BETTER than advertised, much better. Definitely a slice of Heaven. We could not have asked for more. We’ll probably never top it. If we get the chance we’ll stay again for sure.

Theresa is an amazing host. The best host I’ve ever had. This was my first stay on this platform, but I’ve stayed in a lot through the competitors. She is by far the best. The private beach was amazing for me. The water was a little rough while we were there, but the peace and solitude was exactly what I was looking for. Thank you so much!

We loved our stay at this property. This was our first VRBO vacation and it was more than we hoped for. Clean, comfortable accommodations with well-appointed kitchen made it possible for us to decide how much we wanted to venture out vs stay and relax. The property is private and quiet while being not far from all that the island has to offer. Theresa was a great host. She provided everything and we didn’t need much during our stay, but she was available for any questions that we had and offered recommendations for local restaurants. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation getaway.

This was my daughters first big vacation and it couldn't of gone better. From the very beginning Theresa (owner) was there to answer any questions, give guidance, she even left gifts almost daily. She also came to the rescue with some much needed beach chairs when we couldn't find anything. The place was great and just enough space between houses to feel at peace. The house was extremely clean, plenty of room and had all the extras you could ask for. The only thing we wished we had available was the private beach. Mother Nature can't be predicted but Theresa did let us know prior that the last Hurricane brought in the yuck. If you need any suggestions of where to find best beaches, shops or food they had all the answers. Also a plus the outdoor shower is amazing, and the crab daily migration had me mesmerized. Give this a try you won't regret it. To end on the note Awesome, we loved it so much we didn't worry if the flight home was missed so we could stay some more. Thanks again Theresa!

During the entire time we were there (July 2021) I felt like Theresa was a friend who wanted to make sure I had a good time while on vacation to her home. Even before arriving she made contact for further details as well as offering great suggestions for activities and places to eat. She left fruit on our doorstep one day (mangoes from her tree- delicious). She was consistently friendly and helpful without being overly involved. The house itself was the most well-appointed rental house at which we have stayed (and we have stayed at many). Theresa has thought of everything! Anything you need (including a blow dryer!) is there plus a lot of things you wouldn't have thought you needed, but just make your stay a bit more enjoyable (like binoculars). The home is decorated beautifully with antiques and touches of island culture. And on top of all of that, you have a great view of the sea! I sat outside at the table each morning and enjoyed the sound of the waves crashing on the rocks below (while watching the fun little hermit crabs migrate across the lawn). There is an amazing outdoor shower with views of the sea as well. I didn't use the shower in the house at all the whole week. Thank you Theresa for helping to make our 21st Anniversary great!

This was such a beautiful house and home to spend our anniversary at! Theresa worked hard to make our stay special, and even left us an anniversary surprise. She was very hospitable, and gave us recommendations for places to go and see in the area. The location was secluded enough to be romantic, but only a 15 minute drive to great restaurants downtown. We can’t wait to come back!!

Theresa’s property was nicely decorated and had everything that we needed. Most importantly, the view was amazing and sea breezes were constant. The bedrooms had AC but it was not needed. Theresa was a great host and while she lived next door, the home felt very private and serene. She met us to check in and had a nice conversation and then she left us to enjoy the home. When one of the fans stopped working, Theresa had a replacement before we returned home that day. There is beach access from the property but unfortunately a storm had come in a few days before and the beach was not in ideal condition. This affected nearly all the beaches on island that were south and east facing. There were plenty of other pristine beaches to enjoy so this did not affect our trip whatsoever. Overall, we truly enjoyed Theresa’s property and would stay there again.

Seaside Serenity was one of the most comfortable and low stress places I have ever stayed in!!! Could not have had a better experience, Theresa was friendly and had good suggestions. We never felt a need for more privacy or space. The private beach is beautiful and clean. The house is very clean and well furnished. Both for cooking, hanging out or being in the water. With provided boogie boards paddle board, snorkeling gear or sand toys, it felt like the house had it all. One of our favorite things was the outdoor shower, perfect views of the water! It was a very nice location in the Island, it really felt like the house was in the middle of everything. If you decide to stay at seaside serenity you will not be disappointed, it is very accurate to the listings. Perfect place for honeymoon, or a family getaway, seaside serenity is the perfect place for your next vacation.

My wife and I visited Seaside Serenity at Cane Garden for our 10th wedding anniversary. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the ocean, and it is a great location from which to explore the rest of the island! Theresa is a wonderful host, paying careful attention to all the details! She was in communication with us before we even left the airport, and met us at the property to show us around. A dozen eggs left on our doorstep one morning is just a small example of the kind of hospitality Theresa provides. From the private beach to the outdoor shower, this place is fantastic! The breeze was constant during our stay, which kept things refreshing and cool. This also meant the waves were large and constant, which made for some fun boogie boarding. If you want more of a laid back atmosphere, away from the more populated and touristy places of the island, then this is the place! Don't miss the hermit crabs while you're there, and you might even get to see a sting ray off the beach like we did!

Theresa keeps the property super clean and well stocked. The property is very safe and easy to get to. The view is amazing! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! I wish all travel accommodations were as easy this was.

This is the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway in St. Croix. The home located on it's own private beach front is a best kept secret and offers everything you need if you don’t feel like venturing out. A gorgeous home, and it only gets more breathtaking when you walk in. High quality rooms, and high quality service. We've stayed at dozen of resorts and they have fallen short of the attentive service and attention to detail Ms. Theresa provided. Her recommendations were impeccable. Her advisement was on point. This was on the top of the list of best stays/experiences ever. Our host was very hospitable and there for every need. We thank her dearly for making our first Anniversary very very memorable.
