That the sauna was not included in the price of the room. This was not clear when booking. The food provided at request in the evening is not worth it or up to standard. Really over priced for what it is. Especially the pizza (just a frozen pizza).

Beautiful hotel in the countryside, 10mn away from Stellenbosch Adrian and his staff were very nice to us and gave us plenty of advices to visit the area The breakfast was great

The facilities and architecture of the place. The views are mind-blowing, and the breakfast is excellent. I loved the fireplace and common areas.

Stairs to the rooms are a bit uncomfortable when you have big pieces of luggage, but the staff helped us

Wow... De Zeven is truly magical. My husband and I stayed 2 nights in the middle of our honeymoon trip to South Africa, and were really blown away by the lodge and staff here. Our room was absolutely stunning, with the doors opening to the patio and pool deck. We actually ended up cancelling some wine tours/plans that we had to spend more time at the lodge, enjoying the pool and wine available in the bar area. Breakfast here was phenomenal, along with their very helpful staff. We really wished we could have spent more time here, and would love to return one day. Keep an eye out for resident kitty, queen Sophie! What a sweet girl. We loved saying good morning/good night to her each day on our way back to our room. (And for any American Football fans... we were surprised to find that their media room had the football games available, which made my husband very happy. :) Just the cherry on top since we happened to overlap our stay with his team's playoff game.)

This is a beautiful property with amazing staff. The views from the pool are exceptional. Great breakfast. highly recommend staying here when you are visiting Stellenbosch.

They two nights we stayed at De Seven had been super good and completely relaxing. Adrian and the team did a great job! The entire building and outdoor area is very nice and ideally located to explode some of the vineyards close by. Excellent service, very clean.. nothing to complain. We would always come back without hesitation. Thanks again!!

we loved our stay! the property is beautiful, the views are unique and the rooms are so spacious. the breakfast was also great and they were able to respond to all our requests so quickly - we will be back!
