Room was spacious but lack of proper cleaning, cleanliness is an issue. The rooms are infested by insects like cockroaches and spiders, and I personally had to clear them. There is no intercom in the room and every time you have to call the manager over mobile for service ( sometimes due to network issue, we have to call even on WhatsApp). This is basically a 3rd grade homestay converted to a hotel.

Service was very poor, and the food was very bad both in taste and quality. There is no variety in breakfast, lunch or Dinner!!! Even for evening snacks once we have ordered for plate of egg pokora and unfortunately after 2 and half hours we came to know that egg pokora is not available. Its my advice to everybody that don't go by the rating, if you can afford go for much professional hotels available in kalimpong, which will make your trip memorable. (I have made this mistakes, overwhelmed by ratings and reference from a distant friend) This Hotel is of no grade managed by unprofessional staff who are unable to cater tourist pressure in season.

Top floor cottage room wifi access is not working. Bathroom fittings needs to be replaced. furniture needs to be repaired.

It is always necessary to provide all rooms on a single floor , specially for family tourists.

Breakfast was satisfactory. Location is good, though without car movement is restricted

Foods for dinner and lunch is not satisfactory, needs to improve. The carpet in the room is to be cleaned properly. I have stayed in room no. 106, i.e. four bedded , one cot is small in size, causing bad feeling.

It was a pleasant stay at Hotel Paradiso. We stayed for 2 Nights there. The manager was very supportive along with all staff members. The place is cit off from the hustle and bustle of the market. It gives you a calm atmosphere with a clear view of Mt. Kanchenjunga. Let's talk about food now. Well, it was excellent. Even price was quite reasonable as compared to other Hotels in the region.

The Hotel should have a clear policy about allowing alcoholic drinks in its premises. We had 2 rooms there. One at the ground floor and one on the first floor. There is an open terrace on first floor. We were passing time idly there. But then three boarders on the first floor started drinking alcohol openly in the evening. There didn't care about anybody's presence. I was also there with my family. My father left the place out of anger inspite of the wonderful view and find cold. My mother who loved to stay there and was enjoying the evening also followed my father. I went to the manager straightaway and objected but even he expressed sorry without doing anything. The two boarders were so loud even late at night that it was difficult to sleep for all of us. My point is that if the Hotel maintains a policy, such incidents would not have taken place. Though we had to endure an unpleasant evening for just one day, still I want the owner to maintain a policy so that someone's enjoyment would not become a headache for others.

View is good from the restaurant but the view from rooms was not clear because of obstruction from the other buildings

Rooms were not cleaned properly, cigarette butts every where. Kettle in the room not working.also had to call the staff multiple times to get the things done.and some times the manager doesn't even answer your call

There was goo of Tiktiki on one of the bed. Kishore Mallick (one of my friends) cleaned it by himself.

Large room with good breakfast. The staff was very helpful, though its understanding of English was not the best. With good weather, you have a splendid mountain panorama from the roof terrace.

The location is a bit annoying to reach, the only close by sight is the Durpin Monastery (being located in a military zone). The Wi-Fi stopped working when I was there, but the staff shared his mobile data that I could at least check-in into my flight.
