Amazing property with everything you need. Amazing views, great balcony and a well maintained property. The Unit was tastefully done and it was nicer in person than the pictures. All the beds were very comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need. The host was great to communicate with. My only feedback was the sectional, it’s cold and very firm, I would get some pillows and maybe a throw so it’s a little more comfortable to sit on while watching a movie. Beyond that..5 stars all the way.

Luna is perfectly located right on the beach. Don’t want to go far go to the beach club next door or walk not even a block and you have many restaurants right in front of you.
The unit is spotless and kitchen is fully stocked if you want to cook. Anna and on-site staff were so kind and friendly. This is my second time staying at Luna, the first time with friends but this time I brought my mom. She loved it and after the first day asked when we are we coming back! This place is just perfect. Thank you Barbara for all your kindness and making it the perfect vacation.

Stayed at Luna Encantada several times in the past with friends. Was discovered by a close friend, and the location has never disappointed. This time I wanted to introduce my GF to Playa and the Yucatan Peninsula in general since she has never been. Playa has gotten built up since my last trip, almost 15 years ago, but Luna is still a great oasis. The infinity pool is wonderful and the beach is right at your back door. The beach attendant will have cocktail and food service brought to you on the beach from the next door restaurant, which also has massages available. We rented a two bedroom unit, since it was just two of us, and that was the smallest unit they have. Everything you need is there, full kitchen, washer and dryer, two full bathrooms, room safe, wifi, tvs. Parking is free in the garage but it is first come first serve, and some of the spaces are small. The big grocery store is walking or cab distance from Luna, and of course 5th ave nightlife is there if you want it. I did notice that Señor Frogs was right around the corner and quite loud, but at Luna they seem to be insulated from the noise. If you rent a car, OBEY THE STREET LAWS, wearing your seatbelt and stopping FULLY for stop signs. We were pulled over after getting gas and I wasn't driving but was putting on my seat belt as we pulled away, a cop saw us and pulled us over. Long story short is I got rolled for 2000 pesos ($120). Not on Luna, will def back but will be more careful! Thank you Barbara!

This place is full of charm and location, location, location. The beach view is fantastic and 5th Ave is just a half block away. The residence itself was everything two couples needed to get away and cleaned to perfection. The beach was relaxing with very little vendor activity. With the Inti restaurant next door it made for an easy day of drinking and snacks. I can’t wait to visit again.

Great property! Loved that it was smaller in size vs. a huge hotel setting. My family and I really enjoyed our time. The location is great - right off of 5th - convenient to everything yet felt very secluded and serene with the beach front views. We will definitely be back! Thank you!

Fabulous property in the perfect location of Playa del Carmen! This was our 4th trip to Playa and hands down the best property we have rented. Kitchen and condo with all the amenities and super friendly staff. The kids loved the pool and we loved being able to walk right to the beach with access the chairs and umbrellas, that was a game changer! We would love to stay here again in the future. Thank you 😊

Wonderful location!
We really enjoyed our stay at Luna Encantada! The location is awesome. The views are just as pictured. The grounds are very well attended. The 24 security made us feel very safe. The staff was very responsive and helpful. Any small need or question was quickly answered. Big shout out to Edith and Luis for being so accommodating. Abdias attends the beach and set up our umbrellas every day. He was also very helpful with coordinating massage appointments. The condo is very comfortable. We cooked a lot of meals and used the balcony every day. The lay out is ideal for 2 couples as the bedrooms are separate and private. I really can’t say enough about this property. We cannot wait to return!

Surpassed our expectations!
This was a truly excellent rental experience! The unit was spotless, and all was exactly as advertised. We only needed to reach out to the owner once, with a check-in question, and she was very responsive. Edith ( property manager) and her staff were AMAZING, incredibly professional and accessible. Their attention made us feel like we were at a Ritz Carlton! Location was awesome, the beauty of the beach right out the door, and the energy of Playa del Carmen around the corner. Winter Escape
Fantastic location. Beach front condo one block from 5th Ave and 3 short blocks from ADO nonstop bus to/from Cancun Airport. Small, well maintained resort style units with secure entrances and 24 hr guard. Beautiful, clean condo, spectacular beach view, comfortable beds, updated bathrooms. Plenty of chairs at pool and beach - no sargassum! Many repeat long term guests helped us navigate through town. Everything you need is in walking distance. Edith, our property manager was terrific and promptly addressed any issues/ questions. We will definitely be back next winter.

We Love Luna Encantada!
It was our second time at this condo building. We did Not want to leave! I love the condos, so clean and fancy. Feels safe, gated.
The infiniti pool is beautiful and great for days when the carribean sea waves are splashing hard!
Abdias, Luna's beach boy, is so friendly and helpful. He'll set your beach chairs out, a table for your drinks, a beach umbrella if you want!! Feels like you're a Queen!
Inti restaurant will bring you breakfast, lunch, supper, drinks, shots, etc... right on the beach at the condo.
Book excursions and massages through Abdias. He gets you deals! $25 for an hour massage from Inti next door. Go up top, more private and overlook sea during massage. Amazing!
We love Inti for breakfast and their fish tacos for lunch. Fire thrower shows almost nightly right there on the beach by condo! Don Mario's pizza is delicious! Zenzi restaurant/bar right on the beach is so fun to go to 8pm-close. Great music and dancing! Great atmosphere!
Conenience store 1 block away, souvenir shops, unique clothing shops very close 1 block (Shalom is awesome) affordable italian linens and silky dresses, covid testing center less than 1 block. $25 for antigen test, results E-mailed to you within 10 minutes. Perfect for flying back to U.S.

This unit at Luna Encantada was perfect! Beautifully decorated, maintained, and super clean. Location is near everything, within walking distance, and most of all on the beach! Communication with the host and property manager was seamless. I could go on, but all you need to know is this place is perfect. You won't regret staying at Luna Encantada!

He’s beautiful, the unit is quiet with all the noise that is around. He was a wonderful refuge, very clean. Pool was great, the view is amazing. The property manager and the owner were fantastic and helping us with whatever you might have needed. Highly recommend.

This was our first time staying in Playa del Carmen and the condo was great. We normally just pass through Playa for day trips from Cozumel, but wanted to stay on the mainland for a change. This condo was the perfect spot to stay to be in the middle of everything. It was well furnished and very clean. There was some construction going on in the unit above us, but it quieted down after contacting the property owner. The pool and beach chairs were in good condition, but we didn't use the beach much. We happened to stay during a time when the sargassum (seaweed) was really bad. We had planned mainly inland activities anyway, so it didn't really impact us other than the smell that made you not even want to sit on the balcony. The city? tried to keep the beaches clean, but it just came in faster than they could clean. Like the weather, sargassum blooms just seem to be a roll of the dice for a good beach stay. The condo is positioned right off the main street and you can walk down the strip of shops, restaurants, and bars forever it felt like. However, taxis and bike rentals were available right outside the condo as well. If you are looking for a great beach condo with easy access to everything, this is a great condo.

The building and unit were excellent. Clean and well-appointed. Everything worked perfectly. The only issue was the sargassum, and that was pretty bad. No fault of the owner, of course, but it was terrible to see and smell.

Barbara was a wonderful host and provided an effortless check-in/out, communication, and friendly staff. The amenities and views are amazing. The condo is clean, newly remodeled - cool!!, and well laid out for group time but also space and privacy when needed. The neighborhood is very safe with delicious restaurants within a short walking distance from the condo. You won’t regret your stay at Barbara's condo on your time in Playa. Enjoy!

Amazing Ocean Front Treasure
This is a beautiful ocean front apartment with a beautiful setting and a very helpful host. The apartment is spacious, including a large balcony, is nicely furnished and decorated, and has an amazing view and the building itself have an easy and secure access to the beach. You are in town, just a few steps out and you are in the 5th ave, with lots of restaurants, bars, stores, shopping, nice malls, coffee shops, etc... transportation in the corner of the street. The kitchen is well equipped and there were useful supplies of spices and cooking oil, etc. The host responded rapidly to inquires both before and during our rental, and offered lots of helpful suggestions for enjoying Playa del Carmen. Her concierge Edith is great providing tips and setting up for tours if you need it. Our family of six would definitely stay here again. We will be back!!!

Beautiful views of sunrise, beach, and ocean all from a patio of a most comfortable condo
This is our second time staying at Luna Encantada. I consider it the best beachfront condo with an ocean view in Playa del Carmen. I appreciate the security at Luna Encantada. The guards at the front are very friendly and helpful. Since my last visit, there is now a concierge, Abagail, who is excellent providing information as needed. So appreciate the proximity to the beach; simply out a gate and into the ocean. The location of of the condo is perfect so close to 5th avenue and all shops and restaurants it has to offer.
My wife and I liked this unit better as the picture is accurate. One gets a beautiful view of the beach, sunrises, and the pool; but because it is a little more set back than the other condos it is a little more private.
Barbara, our host, was great to work with. Her communication was timely and excellent. Check in instructions very complete. Though not in Mexico, she thoughtfully checked on us to see if we needed anything. Her manager, Edith, was wonderful as well. Came by several times to help us particularly found a great place to celebrate New Years Eve! Delightful to work with. Maid service at this unit was very thorough and professionally cleaned.
The condo was as described in the pictures and writing; perfect really nothing lacking. The kitchen is well equipped to do any cooking you would like to do. The beds are comfortable.

What a great experience! This was such a great place yo saturo for our family vacation! It is in the heart ok Playa del Carmen and within walking distance to everything. It is a beautiful condo exact as the pictures with great view , good stocked and well manteined. Even though it was right at the center of all action it was surprising quien and calm. You have great view from almost all condo.
The Pool is nice and just for people staying at the building. Direct access to beach with beach chairs, umbrellas and you can ask for food and beverages to the restaurants next door.
The concierge Edith is courteous and friendly. And our host Barbara was always in contact with us. I will stay here again for sure!! Thank you for a great vacation!!

Place is great, beach not so much
The place was very nice and the owner was friendly and helpful. The phone did not work at first, but it was simply unplugged. Wifi worked great, they provided 8 beach towels, and even small bottles of detergent (we bought more). The bottled water was great, but you have to tip a big 5 gal jug to dispense it, so bring or buy water bottles to fill. Our biggest complaint wasn't really the place, but the small beach in front, which was covered with stinky seaweed all week, exacerbated by rocks to snag it. The smell was nauseating in the condo. In fairness, this was supposedly a rare, extreme event that ruined beaches across Riviera Maya, but some amount of seaweed must be typical. Our only other complaint was the big, somewhat loud groups of drunken kids monopolizing the pool at times, but these are to be expected, and the only way to avoid them is by staying at an adults only. Restaurants nearby deliver food and drinks poolside, apartment is spacious with great AC, and there are terrific beach bars with live music all week long just a few minutes walk away. Location is convenient to everything, including hundreds of restaurants on and around 5th Avenue.

Great in all aspects
Our stay at the condo was great. The owner's description is pretty much spot on.
The condo itself is spacious and clean. No issues with the kitchen, bathrooms, living spaces. There weren't any issues with noise at night. Cleaning service was thorough. There was always a security guard present at the front entrance. Didn't use the pool so can't comment on that but there were always loungers placed on the beach in front of the condo that were great.
Location (off of 6th st) is very convenient to the ADO bus station and Cozumel ferry. Wasn't an issue walking to restaurants further north and to the Mega store. Scuba shops are plentiful but the condo is 1 block away from a good shop, Dive Mike.

Perfect!!
Everything was perfect ! The rental is well maintained, beds are comfy, shower is amazing , kitchen is perfect for cooking, and the location is amazing !! Just walk down a few steps and your at the beach or pool and everything you need and want is in walking distance. If I had to complain there is no stereo or speakers for when I was sipping piña coladas on the balcony, but I emailed Barbara she she said she is getting one soon. The couch was a little hard but I never spent time on it anyway so who cares .. And you will have to buy all kitchen condiments like ketchup sugar coffee if you plan on cooking. Anything I needed I emailed Barbara and got a response within minutes she was great! Thank you so much I will be back !! Oh and one more thing ! The view !!!! Unbelievable!!

Amazing View and Close to everything
We absolutely loved the condo. The view is breathtaking, just what you see in the picture. The condo is very spacious and has everything you need on a daily basis. The condo is right on one of the central streets and has restaurants, shops, etc. all around. We will definitely come back!

Beachfront Gem!
Clean, well-run, beachfront gem! Enjoyed local restaurants as well as short day adventures! Went to dos ojos cenotes using collectivo local buses. Very easy and well run. At dos ojos opt for the guided snorkeling tour was well worth extra 200 pesos. Casa Mediterraneano just one block north of 5th ave from condo was our favorite restaurant don't miss it!

Great place to stay!! You have access to the beach, pool and 5th Avenue. Wouldn't stay anywhere else. The Luna Encantada provided the best service for our stay in Mexico. Would recommend this condo complex to anyone who is wanting a place to stay in Mexico. Friendly staff and the property was clean and well managed. Looking forward to our next vacation!!! :)

Nicest place in Playa del Carmen.
We arrived on October 17, 2013 to a warm and friendly environment. Everyone was so helpful in making our stay great. The condo was very clean and welcoming. I felt like it was my home away from home. It was within walking distance of every shop and restaurant on the Avenue. Absolutely loved it and would recommend this unit and complex to anyone looking for a place to stay. We will be visiting Mexico again in the future and will definitely stay at Luna Encantada.
