PROBLEM WITH OUR VEHICLE PASSES

We loved our stay at this condo. It is more updated than what the pictures show on VRBO. The location is perfect, right on the beach next to the pier - within walking distance to so many things like pier park and gulf world. Amazing views from the 20th floor. The biggest negative we have would be that the king and queen sized mattresses where a lot more firm than what we like. But overall it is a very nice condo. It was very handy having a washer/dryer in the unit. They even had 2 beach chairs you can use. We really enjoyed our stay here and highly recommend it!

The 3 bedrooms/3 bathrooms was a must for a group of 6 women. The location is excellent if needing to walk to restaurants and shopping. The owner was responsive to our questions and needs. The pool rules are a little extreme but there must be a reason for them.

We booked this as a present to our nephews and their mom to celebrate high school graduation. We loved our stay.

Our stay was wonderful, there was some cleaning that we did but we are particular about that so no worries. The place was very nice and our family enjoyed the views and how spacious the unit was.

This condo is so much better than the photos posted! The fact that it’s on a corner and you get views no matter what way you look! It has a completely updated look and has been remodeled. It was perfect and we will definitely stay here again!

Had extreme difficulties getting into the condo as the given code didn’t work, and we discovered possible leftover fishing bait in the garbage disposal. Other than that, no real issues. We enjoyed and loved the layout of the condo and the fact that there was plenty of space with three full bathrooms for our large family. It definitely is the largest floor plan offered. We absolutely loved the sea turtle/beach decor. It made it feel cozy and inviting. We most definitely will consider a return visit to this condo! It is our favorite by far.

The condo was just as advertised and very true to the pictures. The location was right next to Pier Park so our family of 2 adults, 4 teenagers and 2 kids 12 and 10 all had plenty to do in the area. Very close to shops and dining places. Traffic is extremely high in the area starting at 4pm because cruising the strip area is also a thing to do right in front of the condo so we walked to most places within a mile. Beds were comfortable. Would definitely stay here again!

My family and I had a great stay at this condo! The views were amazing, and the condo was the perfect size for us. We would stay here again.

We always enjoy PCB. Condo was clean and spacious with a great view. Host was prompt in answering any questions we had before and during our trip.

They need to have all condos ready when you arrive, cause i had to waste have of Tuesday on them to fix the door lock and handle and it is still not fixed all the way he only half way did it

Absolutely beautiful view, There was 7 of us that stayed in this unit, cones equipped with everything you need, Down fall.. When we arrived our unit was not very clean, There was black hair in most of the rooms, and a chunk of hair in the toilet in hall way, I think the owner just needs to have a chat with cleaning crew, other than that definitely would go back

Stayed for Ironman Florida. Had a great stay. Took a start off on accuracy of listing only because the unit is actually nicer than what is advertised. Very smooth check in and check out, everything met or exceeded expectations.

Our family of 8 had a great time at this property. Room had everything we needed. Location is very easy to get to from the airport. Tons of stuff within walking distance. Owner was very easy to reach and answered any questions we had. Would definitely stay here again.

First, the negative. When we arrived at the Calypso to check in, it was chaos. You have to find your own cart somewhere on one of the parking decks in one of the cart areas. Well, with everyone checking in at the same time there were no carts available. We have stayed at other condos that have an organized check-in process. They have a loading area and you can exchange your license to get a cart and then take it back as soon as you're done with it. This check-in process is the worst I've ever had to deal with. We ended up giving our cart to an older couple because they had been standing there waiting for hours. We had already read reviews online about the parking passes so instead of using our phone for the parking passes, we printed them out so that we could get in and out of the parking deck. That seemed to work much better than just trying to use the barcode on the phone. However, the parking deck was a little bit of a problem. It is super tight, and you have to really watch when you're going around the corners because of other vehicles. There are no exit signs whatsoever so if you make a wrong turn you have to back up and watch the other traffic while you're doing it. A simple exit sign on each deck would have made it much easier to navigate. And the fact that you have to pay extra money beyond your rental price to the condo directly to get the parking passes is a little bit ridiculous to me. We also had a third vehicle and even though we stayed during the off season no one would help us with an additional parking pass. They only allow two per condo. The condo owner was willing to accommodate us, but they had additional parking for an additional fee 20 minutes away which was inconvenient. What frustrated me was the parking deck was never full. If the parking deck had been full I would not have been as frustrated by the fact that the condo could not accommodate us for one more vehicle when the entire top part of the parking deck was empty. Now for the positive. The condo itself was very nice. It was spacious, comfortable, and fit our needs perfectly. Also, it is within walking distance of Pier Park and several restaurants and bars. It's a little bit of a stretch but it is even within walking distance of Walmart. The beds were very comfortable and the condo was clean. If you asked me would we stay here again, the answer would be yes. But we would most likely come a few hours after check-in time to avoid the chaos of the check-in process.

Good location and big enough for family to gather but have own space also. Walking distance to restaurants, shopping and activities for everyone. Will most certainly make a return trip. THANK YOU!

Overall, the stay was nice. There were a few minor flukes with this unit but they were not make or break things. The 2nd bedroom (with queen bed) did not have a remote to operate the TV nor did the light in the room work. Knowing this is a beachfront property, some sand was expected - However, upon entering the property the floors had lots of sand on them and were not clean. The master bed also had sand residue in/on it and did not feel very clean. The pools are very small, do not have many chairs, and feel up quickly. The elevators worked efficiently and we never had to wait long. Overall, the resort was nice and I would likely stay here again.

Unit 1001 was simply awesome

The Calypso is in a great location! We were able to park are car and walk everywhere. Right across the street from Pier Park shops and restaurants. The unit had beautiful views as well!

Love the location that Calypso offers. This unit I must say out of all of the ones we’ve stayed in was most disappointing when it comes to cleanliness and the only televisions that worked was the master and one guest room. Which that doesn’t bother me much, bc I’m there for the beach, but with small kids they like to watch tv at night and in the mornings while eating breakfast. The patio furniture really needs to be updated. The paint would flake off on you and had to put pillows on them to sit. The property security was really rude as well and could use more training in customer service. Overall though was a great time and would rent again.

We really enjoyed our time at PCB when we vacationed there in June 2022. The beach and the ocean were wonderful and the proximity to Pier Park was an added bonus. The condo has great views being on the 20th floor and being a corner unit. We had questions about parking prior to arrival and some cable issues during our stay and Bruce and Cathy were very responsive and helpful. I do think there are some opportunities for improvement including a good deep clean and replacement of some very worn amenities including dressers and rugs. Little things like missing outlet covers and inoperable outlets in the kitchen aren't vacation ending issues, but do make visitors feel like the property could use a bit more attention. The check in process is challenging as it seems that many properties turn over at 4pm. With only 3 elevators per tower the wait was exceptionally long. Some of the people we were with waited 45 minutes for an elevator. This is certainly not specific to this rental, but is something to consider when choosing a property. We were thankful that all elevators seemed to be operational during our stay.

No property is 100% perfect but this one was pretty close. It could use a deep cleaning in the spots that are often neglected and some maintenance. For example as many have mentioned the TV’s (living room didn’t come on at all) need checked or updated. We wouldn’t have notice this if we hadn’t had a couple of rainy days. The towel bar in the master bath needs tightened and the second bedroom has no lights at all that work and need new bulbs. But the refrigerator and air conditioner were the best we’ve ever had at the beach, the location was perfect, elevators were quick and the beach service was exceptional. We would definitely stay here again.

Had a great stay and place was as described in listing. Only issue we had that could have made it any better was withe the parking. Our group had 3 vehicles and were only able to obtain 2 parking passes for the parking garage.

Wonderful Property! We couldn't ask for a better location. The condo was very clean, lots of space for our group (5 Adults), easy access to the Pool, which is steps from the beach! Walking distance to Pier Park. We had a Fantastic Stay! Thank You Bruce!
